They overcharged me and I have emailed…

They overcharged me and I have emailed them with no response. They billed me on 04/03/26 and picked up the POD on 04/10/26 and charged me for full month,$237. Then charged me another $55 for something. It's 05/23/26 and I still had not received a credit. They owe me $177.00 for month or April plus the $55 charge.

The delivery and POD pickup personnel…

The delivery and POD pickup personnel are very professional in their communication and personality.
The overseas personnel are difficult to understand, and they make mistakes with context on the webpage and in communication. This was very upsetting since it caused extra concern and extra charges on the billing. Eventually, we felt all worked out well, and extra charges were clarified.

I made a BIG mistake choosing PODS

I chose PODs because my house sold in two days and the clock was ticking on inspections, packing and close date. I wasn’t absolutely sure where I wanted to spend my early retirement so container storage made the most sense. I decided on PODS b/c I had seen their trucks and commercials. I should have done better research. I was moving a 3k sq ft home and the customer service rep said I would need 1 sixteen ft container. I ended up needing 2 sixteen ft containers and 1 eight ft container. Getting extra PODS while my close date was approaching was very frustrating. Each time I had to talk to a different customer service rep. English is not the primary language of every rep I talked to. I talked to at least 10 over the entire process including supervisors. Each rep, I can tell was reading from a script. If I asked a question they were completely thrown off and got confused. Pricing also changed depending who I talked to. I was never able to continue a conversation with a previous rep I had spoken to and developed an understanding with. When it was time to deliver my container from storage to my final destination, PODS said they wouldn’t deliver there. I was shocked and asked what are my options? They gave no options (supervisor said this) to come get your stuff from the storage facility. I ended up figuring out how to fix this mess without any help from PODs. So in summary…before you choose PODs, make sure you understand where their delivery radius’s are or you will have many miserable days during an already stressful time.

Pods were a lifesaver

We were thankful for the use of our pods as we combined 2 families from 2 different homes into 1 new home for us all. It was so convenient to have our stuff right there rather than an offsite storage unit. They were very accommodating and worked timely within our schedules.

2 weeks from start to finish

From the beginning, PODS did all they could to give us the best price. Every step was clearly communicated and the portal was super user friendly. This is the only way we had never moved and was glad we tried it. Always on time and extra careful with delivery and pick up. Thank you PODS...job well done.

Extremely sloppy operation

Extremely sloppy operation. Customer service is terrible. It took me over an hour on the phone to get a refund. I highly recommend not choosing this company, they ruined my move and cost me thousands of dollars.

2 days in a row they cancelled our…

2 days in a row they cancelled our delivery date!! I hired Pods to move our stuff 1/2 way across the country. I flew all the way to the new city to move the stuff into my new place and then had to fly back. I planned 3 days for unpacking my pod. 2 days in a row they emailed at the latest minute changing the delivery date. Now I am screwed since my flight and job require me back in the town I am leaving. This is such horrible service. Thought people might want to know. *** update- manager delivered the pod the next day late in the evening. So still a day late but we really appreciated his long day to help us out!!

Great experience

Great experience. Wanted to pack slowly to get rid of stuff along the way. Downsizing significantly. They did exactly what I expected and placed it great each time. Great idea. Great service as they showed up when they said they would.

Both drivers picking up and dropping…

Both drivers picking up and dropping off were very easy to work with and friendly. Making changes to pick up times seemed more difficult than it needed to be.

Worst customer service I ever…

Worst customer service I ever experienced! They set two (2) dates to pickup the container and didn't show up or tell me they were not going to come. On one of the occasions I got a text message that they were on there way. They came one day without telling me they were coming. Then they sent me a message saying they couldn't get to the container. I told them that I didn't have a residential parking pass. Therefore, I cannot park on the street without risking a ticket. Tell me you are coming and I will move the car.

When I tried to schedule the pickup initially, the website just spinned. I used the chat button and had to wait an hour to speak to someone. The second time I time I used chat, I had to wait an half hour. I asked if they were coming and was told to wait an hour and call back. There is no way to email them on the site. When I googled PODS email, it had a link to send them a message. Sent two (2) messages and didn't receive a reply to either.

Finally picked it up today. I will not be using this company in the future!

Convenience and Quality On-Point

It was very convenient, and everything arrived safely. I was quite satisfied with how it went down. Keep in mind there will be a delay while they transport your belongings, and you'll be fine.
