Lift has stopped working several times from it has been fitted in my mothers house. Engineers have came out and fixed the battery but problem constantly persists. Foot plate is also making a loud banging noise. Inspector for the company came out and said the stair lift needed a new foot plate and battery. He arranged for an engineer to come out the same day. The engineer replaced the battery but not the foot plate as in his words " he didn't have a foot plate in his van " not ten minutes after the new battery installation the lift stuck half way up the stairs. Called the office and the engineer returned to say " the new batteries only come half charged and it's needs a couple of hours". Not good enough surely with a new battery it should be able to go up the stairs once. Lift still has not worked without stopping half way and error lights coming on a day later. Called the office again and was told information would be passed to an engineer and they would be out. 8.30 pm and no engineer has arrived called the out of hours number to be told it was logged on the system but the office for our area is closed and it wasn't on a out of hours call out list. I have to ring back tomorrow morning. It's a disgrace I now have to bring my disabled mother to my house (a bungalow) so she can access a toilet and bed.

Not only does it add a touch of elegance and convenience, but it has also made our lives so much easier. The lift is incredibly stylish and seamlessly blends into our home. That was our concern, and they heard us and delivered the same. The complete Install process happened within a week, with fair pricing.

Great lift but took 3 visits to get it working

I recently purchased a lift from Pollock, and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. The installation was smooth, and the lift functions flawlessly. It has made navigating my home much easier and has provided me with a sense of independence. I highly recommend Pollock lifts for their reliable and efficient solutions.

Pollock lifts provided excellent service, installing a homelift that has greatly improved accessibility in my house. The lift is reliable, easy to use, and has made a positive impact on my daily life.

From the initial consultation to the installation, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. The lift itself is of great quality and has made a significant difference in my mother's mobility. The team at Pollock lifts were friendly, and knowledgeable, and provided excellent after sales support. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a reliable and affordable lift solution.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Pollock lifts when I decided to install a lift in my home. The Pollock lifts team was extremely helpful in finding the most suitable lift to meet my specific requirements. The installation process was swift. The lift itself operates smoothly and quietly, with all the necessary safety features.

I'm a lift engineer and when my mum was no longer able to easily walk up and down her stairs I contacted Michael, at Pollock Lifts. Michael called out to see me at my mum's house and we discussed the possibility of installing a through the floor lift. We identified the best position with my mum's help of course.
Michael provided an offer for the complete works including manufacture, delivery, install and all associated builders and electrical works. He gave me a good delivery date to suit us and as promised started work on the agreed dates. All went well with the install, all the guys that arrived were respectful and courteous. The install was completed to a high standard, trust me I checked everything. These works took less than a week.
The lift has been in a year now and my mum loves it. Installing this lift has meant she can live in her own house and still use all of it. The alternatives would have been either to move or convert the downstairs of the house then only use the lower floor. This would have taken much more time and money than installing the lift.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pollock lifts and their teams, with a special mention to Michael Drake for putting up and fully answering all the very detailed questions I asked.

We have a disabled daughter with a life limiting condition, 24/7 care , unable to walk, talk or eat.
We purchased an external wheelchair lift to aid access into our home- 7 years ago. We have successfully managed to use this lift twice. From day 2 it has continually malfunctioned.
I have been told my warranty agreement has now expired, my service agreement also expired ( despite the fact they did not come to service it during lockdown periods anyway), and I have a lift stuck in it's elevated position, unable to be used.
Frustrated is not the word. Logged a call with Pollock before Xmas, willing to pay for an engineer to attend if need, be, only to be told I would get a call back..................I still await that call back
If I could give zero or minus star ratings, then I would do so

WE know of one which makes a vibration sound. I suggested it be switched it off at night but apparently it has to be left on - does it re-boot itself when switched back on? If so how long does it take to do so?

Cannot get any response from this company. They never answer the phone or call back they don’t have a working email and the website form doesn’t get a response either. The only way to get through to them is to write a poor review on this site. Cannot recommend this firm at all.

I want the readers to understand this is not a complaint about Pollock Lifts but the installation company who made the install a nightmare.I don't know why we went with the company out of Orlando. it was a fight from the start. The sales woman wanted the lyft installed in our living room right in front of a plate glass window. We did not want it there. We wanted it on the side of the kitchen. It was a fight but ultimately we won as it's our house. In an effert to punish us the sales company added on an extra $18000. When the installation started it was a total screw up from the architect who failed to do the proper design because he was too lazy to open the ceiling to get exact measurements. The plans had to be revised 3 times adding an increase of 3 months additional to the installation
Next, came the installation crew. the installation crew failed to follow the architectural plans and did their own thing. the building Inspector failed the work. A new crew was brought in. They had to rip out all the work done by the first crew. Again, they failed for not following the design plans. the framing was passed after the fourth of attempt for framing. Next was the electrial inspection. There were four inspection attempts, all failures. On the fifth inspection we passed.
After the installation was complete, the elevator would not work properly getting stuck between
Floors. Attempts to contact the company were met with failure.
Somehow they're 24 hour number doesn't work. The local rep, was contacted and had little information on resolving the issue. One major issue is there is not a service individual in the palm beach area. If you need any type of service or repair The individuals have to come from Orlando. Personally, I would not recommend purchasing the elevator from the homelift store of Orlando.

After a very bad experience, Pollock Lifts have now sent a very good engineer to put the problem right, and indeed, communicated with me every inch of the way. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.

If I could give this company no stars I would do so. I bought the lift through Companion Care and had the worse experience I have ever had when buying anything. I was persuaded to take out a service contract with Pollock Lifts because I was assured it would never happen again. I have now left 5 messages with their firm in Northern Ireland over a two week period trying to get my lift serviced, which have not even been acknowledged. I am at a loss as to what to do next.

Before Christmas 2022 a defective UP switch was reported to Pollocks in our home through lift, i.e. The in-cab UP control switch was not working. Three times we called Pollocks, and three times we were told an engineer would attend. Nobody came or contacted us, until our normal service engineer called us after Christmas to say he had been in our area, but no one from Pollocks had contacted him until it was too late to order the defective switch. To us, this demonstrates a rubbish service from a 'don't care company' who have been paid £799 pa to service and repair our lift. Mr W Pethers. Binsted, Arundel W Sussex. PS. The switch is still defective, 10/01/23.

Our lift is less than 2 years old and has broken down on over 10 occasions. On one occasion was out of commission for over 5 weeks. We have had repeated broken promises that engineers will phone and visit. I have had numerous telephone call where I have been talked through how to fix it myself. IMO were it not for council orders this firm would be out of business.

5th year of having 2 pollock lifts and had nothing but breakdown issues. I have currently been stuck in my home for days yet again waiting for this to be resolved. Customer service is cold and unhelpful.
My son struggles walking up the stairs, so we decided to put a lift in the house to help him out. The price was good, and it looks natural in our house. Like it was designed with the lift already in it, which I credit to the Pollock Lifts design team.

We have had our lift fitted for just over a year now, fantastic quality had 1 or 2 issues which were dealt with quickly by the pollocks engineers and that was on a weekend !! so far very happy with the lift and would recommend to anyone thinking of having a lift installed

It was wonderful having Pollock Lifts install a small lift in our home. They came out for the measurements and gave us plenty of different price options for lifts. Installation was fairly fast and the lift itself is awesome. I recommend them if you’re looking to put a lift in your home, the build quality is superb.
