Unjustified Withholding of USDT After Resolved Dispute

My P2P dispute started on August 3rd and was resolved in my favor on August 8th (ticket #1804538).
However, my coins are still frozen and I have been waiting for several days now with no updates.
Poloniex is violating its obligations to customers by holding crypto assets for no reason, this is a scam

Warning: Poloniex Blocks My Account Despite All Verifications – 8 Months, Zero Access!

Hi everyone,

I want to share my story as a warning to others and to hopefully find help or advice. Since November 2024, my Poloniex account has been completely locked, despite me completing every possible verification step—often several times—and providing all requested documents, videos, and proofs.

What happened?

- In November 2024, I started account verification (#1747860). My first documents were rejected for being scans instead of originals. I fixed this promptly.

- Shortly after, I requested a change to my registered email (#1748124) after temporary loss of access. The process still hasn’t been finalized properly.

- Since July 2025, I have submitted every single verification the support asked for: multiple videos with the handwritten note (“Disable 2FA for [my email] Poloniex account + today’s date”), ID documents, and submitted everything via their Security Reset portal (#1803264, #1803265). Every time: no result, vague replies, or demands for impossible documentation (e.g., deposit proofs from now-defunct exchanges like Cryptopia).

- I have FULL access to my email address and 2FA.

- I have provided dozens of identity verifications, as requested by their own instructions.

My problem:
After more than eight months, my account remains locked. I cannot access my coins or withdraw anything, and the support just keeps asking for more stuff or gives copy-paste answers—sometimes for weeks with no concrete update.

Key issues:

- Support demands verification that is impossible (e.g., deposits from exchanges that no longer exist).

- No single clear explanation or a transparent, actionable checklist for what is 'missing.'

- All evidence fully provided—for months.

I am starting to believe this is willful obstruction. I now feel forced to go public and warn others. If you are thinking of using Poloniex, be prepared for the possibility of losing access to your own funds for reasons outside your control.

Community:

- Has anyone experienced something similar recently with Poloniex?

- Any tips on escalation, legal routes, or direct contacts, maybe a regulatory complaint from the EU?

- Is anyone aware of class actions or ongoing regulatory investigations involving Poloniex?

If you have crypto funds on Poloniex—think twice and maybe start withdrawal procedures NOW before something similar happens to you!

Thanks for reading. I can provide a detailed timeline and evidence to anyone interested.

Let’s make sure stuff like this gets the attention it deserves!

First-time Poloniex User – Withdrawal Delayed Over 24 Hours, Funds Withheld (Ticket #1801217)

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a frustrating experience I’m having with Poloniex as a first-time user, in case others have encountered the same.
I recently signed up to test the platform — made a deposit, and then submitted a withdrawal. As expected with any new user, I’m using a new IP and a new wallet address. That’s the whole point of trying out an exchange: deposit, test withdrawal, and check reliability.
But now Poloniex is holding my funds and saying it’s due to “security checks” because of the new IP and wallet address. It’s been over 24 hours (Ticket #1801217), and I’ve already cleared all required security steps.
They told me it “usually takes up to 24 hours,” but here we are still waiting. This feels more like withholding funds than protecting them.
Honestly, this gives a really poor first impression. It’s hard to recommend them as a trustworthy or reliable crypto exchange when they make it this difficult just to access your own money.

They disabled TON coins wallet more…

They disabled TON coins wallet more than a year ago. Then they turned my TON coins into TON1 coins, but also disabled them. And I cannot trade or withdraw them till today, 1st July 2025.
I've written to support many times. And the reply was always the same "We regret to inform you that the wallet you're referring to is currently undergoing maintenance. While we are working diligently to restore full functionality, we do not have an estimated timeline for completion at this time." For more than a year!!!

I've been using Poloniex for several…

I've been using Poloniex for several years and have never had any problems with them. I needed to make a USDT withdrawal a few days ago, and the app wasn't sending me the confirmation code. I contacted support, and although they aren't very quick to respond, they did. My money was in the account, and I was finally able to make the withdrawal. For customers who have any problems withdrawing from Poloniex, I recommend verifying your account with KYC. Withdrawals are processed instantly. Greetings from Colombia.

❌ Warning about Poloniex!

❌ Warning about Poloniex!

I’ve had over $400 worth of DONKEY tokens frozen for more than a month. Poloniex claims “technical maintenance” with no clear updates, no ETA, and no transparency, while the token is actively trading on MEXC, CoinEx, and HTX.

Support keeps replying with generic templates. My funds are inaccessible and locked without explanation.

Think twice before trusting this platform with your crypto.

Stolen assets by this scamming exchange

They list rare tokens so you move to the exchange your USDT then block withdrawals saying there is a temporary issue and then they delist the asset that they will never list again. I had thousands stolen with this trick. Their assistance service is trash that only copy-pastes the same answers again and again to everybody. Justin Sun is the scammer behind Poloniex and HTX. It is only a matter of time until he is sent to prison.

This Exchange is completely a fraud

This Exchange is completely a fraud.
They have first disabled the wallet of my coin Dogelon, I have sent multiple tickets to ask when it can enable so I can withdraw my coin or sell it. But the same reply their support people were sending that the wallet is not working properly, so we have temporarily disable that wallet for uncertain period of time and we will notify you once the wallet is resumed and the coins will automatically deposited in your wallet. But in the meantime, they sent a circular about the number of coins which are going to delist from the exchange and the ELON was there. Now the wallet was under maintenance, and they sent the circular of delist the coin???? So, neither i withdraw the coin nor I can transfer because the coin's wallet was under maintenance. I completely loss my funds and I sent a message via X, to mark Mr. President of United State who can take a legal action on this exchange. This is just a fraud.

They have been blatantly lying to me for a year

They have been blatantly lying to me for a year about being able to withdraw my assets to a wallet once they would fix a problem. They never did and after this time they simply delist it and said that they cannot check my balance anymore. They are trash of the worst kind. Thinking about all the stress and anguish about requesting again and again part of my life savings placed in this exchange… Its owners should be in prison.
