Disappointing experience with Poloniex: tokens not credited, and support is unhelpful

I encountered a serious issue while transferring tokens to Poloniex, and so far, I haven’t received any constructive solution from their support team.

What happened:
I transferred TRUMP tokens from the MEXC exchange to Poloniex, relying on the fact that the tokens matched in name, network (Ethereum), and price.

Here are the transaction details:

The tokens successfully arrived at my Poloniex wallet address ( 0xeAb17FaBE3018B854a2CcD68Cdbd2f03d2Bf6D89 ), but they weren’t credited to my account because the contract didn’t match.

Support’s response:
After waiting for two days, I received a generic response from Poloniex support stating that they couldn’t do anything about it. Instead of offering a solution, they merely sent me a link to their supported token contract.

Possible solutions:
Since they control the wallet address where my tokens were sent, I suggested a few possible solutions:

Add the token contract to their system to either return the tokens or credit them to my account.

If that’s not feasible, they could:

Block my account.

Create a new Ethereum wallet address for me.

Send me the private key to the current wallet address so that I could attempt to recover the tokens myself.

Unfortunately, my suggestions were either ignored or rejected outright.

Why this matters:
As an exchange, Poloniex should provide reliable services and support for their users. Ignoring situations like this and refusing to help erodes trust in their platform. This isn’t the first time Poloniex has mishandled user tokens, and I strongly believe they need to reassess their internal processes.

Conclusion:
As of now, my tokens are stuck at their wallet address, and no real action has been taken by their support team. I strongly advise other users to be cautious when using Poloniex, especially when transferring tokens with identical names but different contracts.

I hope that Poloniex notices this review and takes the necessary steps to resolve the issue. If the problem remains unresolved, I’ll have no choice but to continue sharing my experience with the crypto community.

I am unable to trade my coins on this exchange as they have suspended DogelonMars. When I ask for an explanation, they only respond with an automated message.

My first deposit disappeared. Support chat said they would create a ticket, but I never received a mail about it and now there is no more support chat, only a form to send in. Profile settings cannot be edited, Google Authenticator is recommended but cannot be activated. Fortunately I deposited only 0.1 SOL, but this is still money. 😡😡😡

Update: 8 days later it appeared and now trading and support are also functioning. The slow speed of establishing a new account is not acceptable, but they did not steal my money.

Poloniex used to be one the best exchanges but nowadays they Poloniex used to be one of the best Exchanges bug now they have become very Shady.
After Oneday Users IP addresses are purposely blocked off and can no longer access Poloniex website this is sick and needs to be exposed, for their crap, they also hold the trades the Buy & Sell orders dont go through they disable
coins from withdrawals😡

Apparently Justin Sun now owns Poloniex not sure how far this is even True

I’ve had a very disappointing experience with Poloniex. My Dogelon Mars (ELON) assets have been stuck on the platform ever since they reported the wallet being under maintenance. Since then, I have contacted their support team multiple times, but I keep receiving the same generic responses without any concrete resolution.

The wallet remains “under maintenance,” and no one can provide a clear explanation or timeline for when the issue will be resolved. For a platform of this scale, this lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable.

I strongly urge Poloniex to show more transparency and take concrete steps to resolve this issue. At the moment, I cannot recommend Poloniex to anyone looking for a reliable platform to trade cryptocurrencies.

POLONIEX SEEM SCAM A LOT PEOPLE, WHAR WE CAN do with THE PLATFORM?

Poloniex stole my "Dogelon Mars" tokens, Justin Banana will end badly..

They have an unsecured site that cost people a lot of money in particular Nov 2023. These are real working people that saw their money go up in smoke, avoid at all costs. Pick a new site unless you want your money gone too.

They just stole my 850€
Agent even confirmed that agent did that.

transferred all my XRP out no problem and took minutes.

Had all my Btc stolen which would have been worth hundreds and thousands of pounds worth now - would never use again.

This is totally not acceptable as it's a scam and I made my thorough research, and through my research,I found out that my profile image already assisted few victims with their charge backs. Websites can not be written here.

Im a long time user of Poloniex, having signed up in 2015. This used to be one of the best exchanges, but now its an absolute scam. I bought TON coin when it launched on the exchange, then suddenly they say the wallet is under 'maintenance' and all trading/withdrawing has been suspended. Its been almost 6 months since that happened and there is no end in sight. Avoid this exchange at all costs.

Beware, this scam exchange disabled $TURBO withdrawals when price went up, dont use them if you dont want your coins locked.

Poloniex is definitely a scam. I couldn't withdraw my funds because they fixed a one year plan for me without my authorization. Still didn't make a fuss until i noticed that my account balance reduced and the transaction history was deleted. This was when i consu!ted Kaj Embren L t d to help secure my refund.
