As a customer I have never ever been spoken to the way I was by one of the sales team at Ponsford. His attitude was appalling. His snobbery was unbelievable! He told me he had 20 years of experience and accused me of chasing and chasing an order for a sofa we ordered at the end of October 2024 and were still waiting for at the end of February 2025! He had no concept of logistics and didn’t seem to understand I needed a date to work to, to enable me to rid of my existing sofas. After a couple of baffling and bumbling left messages on my voice mail we eventually spoke for him to tell me, the chair had arrived but he didn’t know which lorry the sofa would arrive on. He couldn’t give a date as ‘didn’t I know that lorry’s have taco-graphs and drivers need to sleep’! 🤷‍♀️.

Disgusting service ! He left me feeling so belittled I put the phone down on him !

When sofa eventually came the wrong cushions arrived with the chair. Totally non matching with the sofa and NOT what I ordered. It took another 6 weeks before the cushion covers were eventually dispatched. It was as though no one cared. !

I would never recommend anyone to use them - Look elsewhere!

The Carpet we purchased from Ponsfords was fitted by Graeme and William. They are very professional and did an excellent job. The room was left in a very clean and tidy state, and all the furniture was put back in place. We are extremely happy with both the Carpet and the fitting.

The entire experience at Ponsford has been superb - from purchase of the sofas through to the carpets for the whole house. A genuine pleasure - most especially, dealing with Andrew Langner and Karl Lambert of the carpets sales team. Both of these gentlemen are a credit to the Ponsford store. Thankyou both for your patience and support throughout the purchase, fitting and after sales stages.

Graeme and William went that extra mile when fitting our new carpet in a bedroom. They were thorough and completed the work professionally and more importantly, cleaned up well after fitting the carpet. This will be a return visit to purchase a carpet from Ponsfords as we have been extremely pleased with the workmanship of their carpet fitters. Give them a pay rise! 😀 Thank you 👏👏👏

Fitters arrived at time agreed, carpet was fitted in a timely manner and was happy with the fitting of the carpet. The fitters were friendly and tidy, they even hovered up when they had finished.

Paul and Will arrived promptly, were polite, friendly and very accommodating. They worked hard and completed the job in good time. The new carpet looks lovely!

Carl Thompson was our sales adviser on all 3 visits to the store. He was welcoming, patient and very helpful.

We recently had a carpet fitted. The whole service from start to finish was first rate. The carpet fitters did an excellent job. What stood out for us was they included removal of our old carpet and moving the furniture. This was at an additional cost but the fitters took the care to prepare the floor thoroughly before laying the new carpet. It was so refreshing to use company that put customer care at the forefront. I would highly recommend to others.

We bought a soda this morning. Exceptional service and advice from Stephen. Very knowledgeable, put us at ease and we both felt very comfortable with our purchase. Looking forward to the sofa arriving and being able to relax. Thanks.

Had a couple of minor issue with 2 sofas. I am happy to say we were dealt with expertly from start to finish by Yolanda, Catherine and Liam. Tremendous service, polite, timely, good workmanship and good communications all throughout. They went over and above to overcome an unexpected hiccup. Thank you

First time visiting the store and was a great experience, the staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. Dealt with Bilal and Gavin who were great. The cannoli in the cafe were amazing too!!

I should have done this ages ago but Christmas got in the way and then I just forgot. Steve and Tom delivered my new sofa and chair on 28 November and then delivered another chair on 19 December. Both times they were very professional and friendly, respecting my property and making sure they didn’t trail any mud into the house. They also took away my old suite and if I remember correctly they disposed of all the rubbish too. They let me know what time they would arriving and kept me updated by phone. Great guys.

Today Graeme and Jo fitted my lounge carpet, I can't thank them enough for their service, friendly and courteous, Highly recommend them. I'm thrilled with the result, thank you from a very satisfied customer.

Graeme and Paul with another of their colleague did the carpet upstairs in 3 rooms. Brilliant service and finishing ..they moved all furniture and put it back they way it was meant to .. carpet looks amazing and gives a fresh look..thank you
