terrible customer service

terrible customer service! They charge a 15$ restock fee for returning items, in addition to the customer having to pay for the return label. Had to pay this after I emailed asking to cancel the order even before it was shipped. No remorse or wavering any fees, a brand that does not support people!

Terrible product and even worse customer service

I really wanted to love this company. I purchased the commuter backpack recently —only taking it to the office twice a week. Unfortunately, a large section of stitching completely came apart where the right shoulder strap meets the bottom of the bag. The fabric separated, leaving an opening in the side of the backpack.

Considering the infrequent use, this kind of breakdown just shouldn’t happen. It was honestly shocking and pretty disappointing to see the bag fall apart in less than a year.

What’s worse is the customer service—because there hasn’t been any. I reached out privately over a week ago with photos, details, and a genuinely friendly message hoping to find a solution (replacement, repair, store credit—anything). I haven’t received a single response.

I chose to contact them directly instead of posting a negative review, but the silence speaks for itself. Between the surprisingly poor quality and the lack of support, I will be telling everyone to steer clear of this company using every platform I have. There are too many other brands out there that actually stand behind their products and treat their customers with care.

Sidekick sucks

Husband bought me a Sidekick for Christmas. Beautiful bag but after a few months the zipper started the fail and I'd find my bag wide open. It also had a weird warped shape to the bag around the zipper. Emailed customer service as many friends suggested, thinking that this female owned Canadian company would be great to deal with and it was quite the opposite. They did absolutely nothing. I will never shop from them again and neither will many of my friends because of this story. We all have shopped here in the past and this has spoiled it for many of us. Lost many customers.

took my money and ran

i recently purchased three items, their delivery service didn't ring the doorbell didn't knock . When they delivered it after 8 pm . I was already in bed and didn't realize that they were going to be delivering. As it was after a long weekend and it hasn't been updated. So it's outside all night and I'm guessing someone stole it. I am 2 houses from the mall and main bus stop . When I contacted them, they did not care. I really suggest that when people are spending this kind of money, they should invest in a delivery company that signs when delivered . Not just leaving it at night on the doorstep. So I've paid for nothing. They took my money and ran no pun intended for all I know the delivery driver took it.

Does NOT deserve loyalty

So I bought 2 items from them a couple of months ago to treat myself as I was promoted at work. I decided I like their stuff and now want to collect points for future purchases. I was about to buy 4 new items from them (2 totes and 2 lunch bags) when I saw they offered a birthday reward of 750 points. My birthday is this month but passed. I asked their customer service if they will still give me my birthday points and was told no. I guess I could have lied and said my birthday is next week but I am doing the right thing. I decided NOT to buy my 4 items anymore. My plan to gift my friends the commuter backpack for the holidays is also not going to happen. This brand does not deserve anyone's loyalty.

If something‘s wrong watch out

I have ordered several backpacks and bags from them in the past. And if your order is fine, everything is great but this time it came in damaged and working with customer service has been terrible experience. I have been trying to email them back-and-forth for a week and still nothing. I’m sad to say, but I will never order from this company again I really l like their product products but unfortunately, customer service is not what it should be.

The crossbody bag is amazing

The crossbody bag is amazing. I did have a one off problem with the inside material getting caught in the zipper so I emailed them and they sent me a brand new one for free. Customer service responded back quick and I received my new bag within a week. Will buy from them again.

Customer service sucks

I purchased a bag in a color I didn't care for but that's all they showed. I got 15% off my first order but paid $10 shipping. A couple of days later some gorgeous colors came out. I wanted to exchange it. I knew I'd have to pay the return shipping & shipping for the new one. Then I find out there's a$15 exchange fee & I wouldn't receive the discount. Sent an email, haven't heard anything yet. Also in their return policy page never mentioned a$15 fee. Would never have ordered if I'd known about that extra charge. That shows up after you start the return. Tried a chat now, nobody available. Haven't used the purse yet. Probably keep it as I don't want to lose another $30. Won't buy again. Customer service sucks

Beware of returns

I accidentally purchased two commuter backpacks. The company was very quick to tell me that I would have to wait for the orders and ship the one I don’t want back. Shipping from the US, to Canada, costs about as much as the bag itself, in addition to the time it would take to complete the customs paperwork. Cute bag, but definitely not worth this.

Zipper failure

I purchased the go getter tote in blush and the on the run belt bag in camel. The tote’s zipper started failing after about 8 months and the belt bag got too heavy for a sling bag because of the hardware. I was going to purchase more items but I am glad I didn’t after my tote’s zipper started failing. I had cheap bentley bags last longer.

Bad customer service & long shipping times

Ordered a bag on June 28th and have not received it yet. I emailed customer service and I received a generic email that my order would ship between 1-7 business days. It’s day 11! I tried using their chat feature but they are always off line.

Customer service and communication terrible

Customer service and communication left a lot to be desired. My order was placed on June 25 and have yet to receive shipping confirmation. I have reached out by email twice, the first time an automated response was sent, and I have yet to hear back from my second inquiry. At this point, I'd rather just cancel my order than wait for my order to ship.

Cute design but poor quality

I’ve ordered a few items from poppy’s and peonies, the items are really hyped up from influencers but I find the quality is lacking. My favourite item is the Morganex wallet, I love the compact design but unfortunately the zipper is horrible quality and broke easily.

ZIPPERS POOR, POOR WARRANTY

I bought the sidekick and used it only for when I was dressed up. I used it about 30 times over the course of two years and they would only give me a discount on a new purse because I had passed the 3 month warranty. I suggested that I send the purse to them so that they could see that my purse was in perfect condition otherwise and they ignored me. A 3 month warranty on the product suggests that the purse is not made of great quality. The body of the purse appears to be well made but the zipper is not. Poor customer service. They don't stand behind their product. I've had way better service from other companies. If you want a purse as a throw away in a few months, go for it!

Poor quality faux leather, already damaged after 1 month


I was really disappointed with this bag. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality. After less than a month of use, the faux leather on the back started peeling off. Not long after, the same thing happened to the handles. The design of the bag is nice, but the quality is simply not there. I wouldn’t recommend this to others. Definitely not worth the money.

Customer service is terrible…

I received the Commuter backpack as a Christmas gift from my mom. I loved it - it was very functional - but after approximately six months of less than daily use, one of the buckle tabs fell off, making that buckle useless. The company would only offer me a 20% discount "as a goodwill gesture". So, be forewarned, there are durability issues and they don't stand behind their products.

Lousy zipper construction

I recently received an On The Run belt bag. While the bag is cute, the zippers are horrible. The fabric folds along the zipper seam in several places, making the zippers very difficult to use. Overall it just feels very cheap. As a US customer, I can't return it without paying $50, so it's not worth the cost to return it. Feeling burned!

Blush crossbody bag with a charm

I ordered a crossbody bag with a charm. The shipping was the next day. Then the package came the day after. I was notified through text message where my package was and how many stops it was away. It was great service!
The bag was a crossbody bag. The colour is absolutely beautiful. Exactly as pictured. The size is amazing. It grows bigger too. And it comes with a really cute clutch as well. I got one of the charms and they are super cute. I love the size but if you don't want it too large then I suggest not to get it. I did because I do, and I love it!

Overpriced and crappy zippers

The backpack is overpriced in my opinion for plastic “vegan” leather. The zippers are also atrocious. I don’t fill my bag with a whole lot but the zippers often come apart on both compartments with very little resistance. Not a great quality in a backpack!
