Great business to work with. Fast shipper!!

I needed this vintage electronic item so I could continue to do work for a lawyer who still likes to dictate memos and letters the old fashioned way. I couldn’t find it anywhere on the internet except at Porter Electronics. I ordered thinking maybe it would work, maybe it wouldn’t, but it is in excellent condition and works like a dream! So impressed! I will probably buy another one soon if there is one available.

The refurbished Canon GL2 works like it's brand new, exceeding expectations. Thanks for a great value for the money. Any chance you will fix up a Canon XHA1s?

If Porter Electronics has what I'm looking for, I don't bother to look anywhere else. It is my go-to source for refurbished electronics. Units look and work like new out of the box. Plus if needed, they include helpful hook-up instructions together with a remote, if applicable. Purchased a refurbished Sony DVD/VCR Combo (as I have an extensive library my deceased husband left years ago now and it's still reliable and working perfectly! Many thanks to Porter Electronics!

Purchased just what we wanted at a price we could afford. We are listening to the great Bose quality sound and a simple to use system. We had a glitch with the CD player and communicated that to Porter Electronics. They ask for us to send it back to them for replacement at no cost to us. System replaced promptly and all is good! We also purchased the extended warranty and have peace of mind that Porter will be there for us.

Everything was as promised and the product still works to date. Delivery was timely and trust was rewarded and hence i will shop the site whenever i feel there might beanything there to meet my needs or wants at a fair price and without worry as to the quality.

Great company for old electronics that are hard to find nowadays without over paying. I was able to get a remote for my panasonic pv 9662 vcr that I couldn't find ANYWHERE else. Overall a great company that I already love oh and delivery was great too! Packaging very secure and what not and arrived rather fast across borders. (From America to Canada)

They said they responded. LOL. The response was an automated response was to my incomplete transaction on their website. I had near $800 in that cart waiting for them to respond before i placed a second order to fix the first order. I stand by my one star review!! pls see below:

i keep hearing "we are a small family run business"... that doesnt mean they dont have to call you back, respond to email when you have a problem. I have been calling them for days!! I had to dispute the purchase. Still No Call or Email!!! ZERO stars for customer service if i could give ZERO stars. I feel like they hide behind the facade of "small family run business". They may have gotten better reviews in the past but this is an up to date experience. LOOK FOR ANOTHER ON_LINE RETAILER!!

I received high quality products and no trouble with getting my package on time … the items I purchased are very hard to find anywhere else… Porter Electronics is a truly rare find…. Great packaging too!!

The combination DVD/VHS VCR unit was received timely in good condition and has been running perfectly for the past month on a nearly daily basis. Item was packaged well to avoid damage from shipping. Documentation was excellent and made setup and operation easy. I highly recommend using Porter Electronics for purchasing refurbished electronics.

I did have a couple of issues with my product. I contacted Porter, several times (corresponding with them). Sometimes it took a few days for them to get back to me, however, the important thing is, they did. They are willing to help and make things right, which in today's world is hard to find. They for sure do stand behind their products.

Years ago I had a Hewlett-Packard HP 50g for use in my architecture practice, mainly for structural engineering. But my tiny business failed in the '08 financial crisis. I chose to retire. I had no real use for my much loved Hewpie. So I gave it to an acquaintance whose - I think it was a 48 had failed.
Long after I have a personal project in the way of changing my mobility scooter from SLA AGM to LifePO4 battery, and setting up a solar charging system for portable use. And suddenly I dreamed of having my 50g back. But how? They have been out of production for a long time.

After approx. 30 years, my 93year old father's Bose died. He used it every night to go to sleep. After looking everywhere for a replacement and not finding one like his, I discovered Porter's. This was my first purchase from Porter Electronics and I am very impressed. I bought a wonderful refurbished Bose Wave Music System. It shipped and arrived quickly and was well-packed. Bose hasn't made this unit for many years but the one I received looked and functioned like it was brand new. I will definitely shop at Porter again!

Very real and sincere, accurate listening to my problems with my Sony 4 disc/radio player. They diagnosed CORRECTLY over the phone what i would need and instead of making more money and selling me an entire 2 component set, which they had, she told me they could perfectly match my good upper component with a refurbished bottom part. It's like new! They know their product and are very nice and very honest. Quick delivery, too! And it did NOT cost an arm and a leg! So glad the Lord led me to Porter Electronics!!

This is one of the only reputable companies that I could find the item I was looking for, and they had it in stock. They delivered fast, and the entire shopping process was a cinch. I will be coming back to purchase other legacy media players from them, just as soon as I have the chance!
