Timely and good services! I have order for at least ten years, so polite and good service

The entire process always runs smoothly. Packages are consistently well-packed, and shipment tracking provides real-time updates on the package's location. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and every inquiry was answered satisfactorily. Highly recommended—I’d gladly shop here again.

Order paid and received, no delivery / no refund from Rui.

I placed an order with Portuguese Wines Shop (portuguesewinesshop.com) under invoice number on 3 December 2025.

Despite several email attempts to resolve the issue up until March 2026, I have never received the goods. The only responses I receive from the company are vague messages such as “I’m checking,” after which no further action is taken. Additionally, the company does not answer phone calls, making direct contact impossible.

This behaviour is unacceptable and not a proper way to conduct business. Avoid this place.

A scam. Three weeks since payment was taken, no corrispondance from "Rui" no wine. DO NOT ATTEMPT BUY FROM THIS SCAM

Placed an order with this company in December 2024, using their ‘buy 24 and get free shipping’ offer.
Received order conformation (116984), which confirmed the free shipping. Then received emails asking for a payment to cover the shipping. I asked to cancel the order as they were not complying to their sales terms, and received a response from Rui confirming cancellation and that a refund would be made. In spite of continued ‘hasteners’ refund has never been received by May 2025, so have had to resort to ask my CC company to intervene.
Extremely poor service by the Portuguese Wine Shop and definitely can’t be trusted.

Ordered Encostas do Bairro Red and White wine after having tasted it in our portugese family union in Krefeld. Realy nice taste. Unfortunately the first delivery was damaged by the transportation company, but a full replacement was send immediately after having informed the shop. Really quick an quite accomodating reaction from the shop. Absolutely satisified with customer service

I wish I had read these other (negative) reviews before I placed my order. About a month ago I ordered Dows Midnight port which was advertised as available on the website. They now tell me that they did not have the stock and can't get any of this port and "please choose another wine". I said I wanted my £340 back and they have gone quiet - no refund and no communication despite numerous email requests from me. I have registered it as a claim with Paypal as I paid through them but "AVOID THIS COMPANY"

The items that I bought were delivered in accordance with the order. One brand was different from the order, but equal to it in quality and quantity. So, no problem. Using the tracking code I could follow the delivery. The delivery date was that given by the seller.

I've never received their products, or response to my numerous emails and phone calls and they never refund. I guess they are fishing people.

I placed an order on April 6, 2022 and here it is over a month later and no order. I have been reaching out to them over this time and a couple times talked to a Rui Lopes who said my order was shipping out and nothing. I needed this order from an event and so disappointed and upset this order was over 200USD I have now filed a claim against this company to get my money back. I would advise everyone not to ever use this company. They should be shut down.

Took them one whole week to process the order i had to email them to get it started aparently, did not even had a tracking number had to ask for one.

Update: After publishing this review i was even contacted by someone that said they read my review asking me not to make any purchases in their store anymore!

I ordered a box of wine in May 2021 and when I chased it, I was asked for more money 'because of Brexit'. I have repeatedly asked for my bottles or refund and I have not received either.

I wouldn't even give them one star. I ordered a case of wine 8 months ago and still haven't received my order yet, nor a refund. All I got was a message saying they were struggling to get a courier that would deliver to the UK. No estimated arrival time, nor any contact now that I want a refund. They're a total scam. AVOID!!!

It's the 25th day after my order and I still haven't gotten my wine delivered.

I made a order in January for around 400 euros and never got any delivery and until now I only got a email from Rui saying because of COVID they had some problems to deliver. I asked for a refund and until now I didn’t get anymore replies. Don’t buy from this people. They are crooks. Unreal

I placed an order for about 180 euros in March 2020 and my credit card was billed. I understand this was during the start of covid lockdown, so I believe I have allowed enough time. I have received no response other than the occasional we will look into it and then only ignored.

My partner made a considerable order that was never delivered, and never replied to our messages.

Is this a scam?

Great wines, good price, and resealable delivery time.

Received only part of my order. What I received was decent quality but have been scammed out of the balance. Real shame.
