They were communicative

They were communicative — I’ll give them that. Unfortunately, that’s about the only good thing I can say.

I’ve worked with 4 or 5 other 3PLs and never had an inventory discrepancy — until this one. Right off the truck, I had major shortages. Eventually they found some. And then later, they found more. And later… more again. My inventory numbers were constantly being adjusted for months, despite no new inbound shipments. Some of the adjustments even put my inventory into the negative. I’m still not sure how that’s possible given I had no unfulfilled orders.

When I left, I had 1 unit of a SKU remaining. These aren’t huge items — you can fit a dozen or two on a single pallet. But somehow, this one item was apparently enormous, because I was being charged for 4 pallets plus 4 cubic feet of additional space. Impressive for a single unit.

Just for fun, I logged in a year after I pulled all my inventory out. Surprise — 1 item was suddenly back in stock. A few months later, everything was zeroed out again. Like a ghost inventory haunting the system.

I only ever sent in one shipment, yet my inventory numbers were all over the place the entire time. And the storage fees? Equally strange — somehow, one unit was still racking up charges for multiple pallets of space.

Wouldn’t recommend — unless you’re a competitor of mine. In that case, please, by all means, use them.

Avoid at all costs

Very unethical company. Brian Cummings and his team should be avoided at all costs.

We hired them for FBA prep services. We set the expectations about what we needed for quality control inspections upfront over the phone, video chat, and in writing. We also reminded them again shortly before the first shipment arrived in writing. Despite that, they did literally zero quality control and shipped our products directly to the Amazon warehouses.

To make matters worse, PPSI did not make any attempt to resolve the situation. They ignored countless phone calls and e-mails. Brian Cummings actually answered the phone once when I called him from a number he didn't recognize, made excuses about how he had been sick, and promised he would call back in a few days with a resolution. Instead, we never heard from him again.

Actually, I did hear from his company once when they tried to charge us $854.35 for the privilege of creating this disaster. We disputed these charges via chargeback and easily won the dispute given the extensive paper trail.

This nightmare resulted in months of delays and expenses as we had to remove the units from Amazon, re-route them to a new FBA prep facility, properly inspect for QC, then send back to Amazon.

We posted this review on Google but the company took down their Google page to hide it.

Lesson learned - if you are looking for an FBA prep or 3PL company, make sure you use one that has an abundance of legitimate online reviews. We currently use McKenzie Services out of Oregon and they are amazing.

Still considering taking them to court for the full extent of the damages.

Great service

Great service! The staff is friendly and timely. The portal is also great, makes it much easier to manage inventory than other prep center I’ve used. Highly recommend using this company.

Prepitpackitshipit collects credit card info on paper?

Their prices seemed acceptable but when I looked at their onboarding process - OMG! They require a "Credit Card Authorization" on paper!? This is basically a pdf file you have to print, write all your credit card info on that paper, including ccv and send by email. This feels like 1992. I can't believe that there could be someone giving all their credit card information openly like that! I am not even talking about innovation but merely keeping up with the modern times. I understand that this is still a feasible charging method but so is a horse a transportation method but nobody rides a horse to the office... After seeing that they require a CC authorization, I seriously doubt about their capacity to efficiently handle anything. A CC authorization form also means that Prepitpackitshipit.com can theoretically charge you anytime and any amount of money. I see absolutely no benefits for the customers to agree to a CC authorization form, only risks. BIG risks. Avoid any business that asks you for a CC authorization form.

Hi, Kam. Our CCA doesn't require your credit card information. The CCA is an agreement to pay for the services you receive when they are completed. All billing is done through Stripe, and we never see our client's credit card number.
