Great experience and quality work
We worked with the Prestige team to address damp issues on a wall in our lower ground floor. The team were really friendly, professional and tidy, covering up our wood flooring and other items. They kept us informed about every step of the refurbishments and did a great job cleaning up after everything was done.

Great service from the no charge survey to completion of the works. Flexible approach meant that an innovative solution was implemented resolving unexpected issues that were identified. High quality finish. Site left clean and tidy. Contractors arrived on time each day and work was completed on schedule. Would definitely recommend !

This company in my personal experience with them is a company that has no idea what it’s doing what they advertise isn’t what you get I had to pay for a quote despite it saying it was free this company told me I’d need double the work doing to the other 3 I had quotes from I found it very hard to get a response from them when I received my price the amount was eye watering

Quotation nightmare
I contacted prestige by the email that’s listed on the website despite offering a free quote on the advert I was instantly told I’d have to pay £150 non-refundable before they could even book me in to get a quote done after I questioned the person about this they became much more aggressive and said other companies would be my best bet because I’ve asked a question and now I’m holding them up I’ve seen other reviews here with a similar experience to me that prestige have replied to doubting what was said i would remind this Company that I have email evidence to verify all of what I have said please be cautious when approaching this company my personal experience wasn’t a good one at all

We apologise that you feel that you did not have a good experience with us. As explained in our emails, there are certain occasions where we do offer a free of charge survey but I’m afraid in your circumstance this wouldn’t have been the case. Our surveys range from £50-£150 and we did offer the lowest fee of £50 for you.
If you had seen any information stating that we offer free services, the advertisement would have displayed that terms & conditions apply. Our company policies do change due to the nature of what our surveys entail and so that we can keep upto date with the current climate, however no changes have been made since you contacted us.
We do need to take payment before the day of the survey due to cancellations/no shows from the customers end, as this means that we would not be able to offer other clients potential inspections .
We do take pride in having a low fee for our surveys and any charges are deducted from the quote if any further works are proceeded with.
As you mentioned you were concerned about making payment due to being conned in the past by other companies, this is completely understandable and we did agree that you are more than welcome to come into our office to make payment.
You unfortunately seemed to dismiss our company immediately as soon as payment was mentioned and accused us of not being a legitimate company , which is why we suggested that it might be in your best interests to contact other companies as we wouldn’t want any of our customers to have any concerns/worries, as we are a reputable and registered company and are proud that we complete over 30 viewings a day and only rearrange due to unforeseen circumstances, with plenty of notice.
We complete hundreds of viewings a month, and receive all of our jobs from the initial inspections so it would not suit us well if we did not turn up for our visits, we also do not force any works on anyone as we are a very empathetic company who value our customers.
We apologise again if you feel that you were spoken to in an aggressive manner, this was not the case at all, it appears that you have unfortunately put us in the same category as the other companies that you have had a negative experience with and we are genuinely sorry that you have had such a bad experience in the construction industry, however I can assure you that we are a professional and experienced company.
