Patrick's knowledge and work are excellent. He (and his colleague) did a great job in sorting out two damp spots in our house, taking back the old plaster, rectifying the issue and re-plastering. The finished wall looks great, and they did a good job of a clean afterwards. They are super courteous and punctual. Highly recommended.

I have had a great experience with Damp Proofing Solutions from start to finish. We received a number of quotes for our rising damp problem and had received an independent assessment as well. Patrick showed the most care in assessment, and his suggestions most accurately matched the independent quote as well.

He was honest about what the problems were and what may be needed, but understanding about budgetary constrictions and how to work around these. Afterwards, he was easy to contact (despite being very busy) to help plan what needed to be done in preparation.

He also sent detailed instructions / advice about what the process would be, timescales and what to expect afterwards - something I did not get from any others I got quotes from.

On the day the team arrived promptly, and the work was completed to (what appears to me!) to be a high standard. They also left the place tidy and with clear instructions. As a bonus the work comes with a 20 year guarantee.

Patrick quickly analysed our need to prevent water coming in through the brickwork of our residential garage and proposed a comprehensive solution. He responded positively when we expressed concern at the cost. He arranged to start the work early when we said the original date was a bit later than hoped.

He and his team worked hard over a weekend with a few return visits to complete the work. They were punctual, courteous and communicative.

Patrick did a careful and methodical assessment of the work needed and explained his recommendations clearly, spending time to answer my questions. I felt the quote I was given was competitive and reasonable for the work needed. I had three areas of rising damp treated as well as my basement treated for woodworm. The team took care to protect my floors and furniture from dust and did the work efficiently, minimizing disruption. When after a couple of weeks it became apparent a small area of wall needed extra treatment, Patrick arranged for someone to come round the next day and sort this out.

Patrick’s men were professional, considerate and did a great job. I was really dreading having the work done but they transformed what I thought would be traumatic into something relatively painless. I would recommend them to anyone needing damp proof work done.

Can't fault the service they provided. Lovely bunch of chaps that carried out the work and Prestige were on top of any questions i had with regards to the work. Would recommend them to anyone with damp problems. After they finished i wish i had got them in to do my basement too, instead of a local competitor.
