I recently sold a Rolex datejust 36 to Pride & Pinion. After having a bad experience with another company last year, I was naturally a little bit anxious at the thought of selling my watch so I decided to call their head office for an initial chat. Luke answered the call and he couldn’t have been more helpful.

Luke listened to my reasons for wanting to sell, discussed my options and came back to me with different options and offers. I believe the prices offered by Pride & Pinion were competitive and I sensed they weren’t in this to make a ‘quick buck’.

Once a price was agreed, Luke arranged the delivery to Belfast and kept me updated on the progress. Again, based on a previous negative experience with another company I was feeling slightly anxious but there was no need to be.

I think P&P are excellent and Luke will be somebody I definitely speak to again in the future. I couldn’t recommend them more. Very knowledgable, personable and trustworthy.

Great communication! Amazing watch

Tried to trade in an Omega for a Rolex. After a very low ball offer ( 20 percent below any of the other 3 offers I received) we arrived at a deal. Phoned up to confirm to be told watch 'was just sold'. Then enquired about another Rolex. Was told that was sold as well. 3 days later both watches are still advertised on their website. Went elsewhere.

Shady company. Told me their watch for sale was VAT included so I responded saying “perfect - remove the VAT & sell to my buddy in NY” & they got defensive saying “that’s not how it works” bla bla bla despite telling me the VAT is 20% of the whole watch (stating this fact so they don’t try and say the VAT is only on the profit).

Clearly not charging VAT & lying like that is something Trading Standards should potentially look at

Very helpful, great communication, updating me every step of the way. Dara was excellent, fantastic service. Today my watch arrived from Belfast and it’s beautiful.
