Unobtainable part obtained
I have an ageing but trusty Epson 1750N colour laser. This is no longer supported by Epson. Parts are increasingly hard to find. I had accidentally smashed the lugs that hold the printer's paper tray extension. Although a trivial part, its absence made for great inconvenience if printing more than a few pages.
printerspareparts were able to supply one. Its just a piece of plastic with a couple of lugs but its great to have one again.
Great service and relatively fast delivery (~3 weeks).
Judged simply on the product, the service overall and its arrival well on time I would award 5 stars.
However.....
a)I think the website needs to provide better diagrams.......I was unable to "blow up" the diagram using Adobe or anything I tried. Whilst I was pretty sure that the part WAS the one I needed, the poor quality of the diagrams cast just a little doubt in my mind. Ok, I suppose I could have phoned.
b)I paid £53.38 for a piece of plastic. Some of this was VAT, and delivery charges but it seems very expensive for what it is.
So 4 stars rather than 5

New printhead, but not wanted by arrival
I ordered a new replacement print head for my Canon printer which was sent and arrived promptly. However whilst I waited for that, I decided to scrap the machine and buy a new one .....hence I cannot say how good the part was but can certainly comment the service.

Fast shipment... slow delivery... but ended good!
We ordered a Xerox transfer belt, very difficult to find, and they shipped out very quickly. Unfortunately the delivery was very slow... 1 month due to some custom delay. But they always been very collaborative helping us to check shipment status.

Very helpful. Asked to have my order checked in case of mistakes, which they did and found a mistake. They corrected this, let me know and my order arrived as it should have been. (An 86 yr old easily confused and needing an 8yr old to guide him on the computer !)

Technician managed to diagnose my problem as a cracked circuit board and was unable to fix the issue. Disappointing result as I was expecting to have a working printer after the appointment.

We supplied the part that was ordered, and it was delivered within two days. As we were not consulted regarding the issue with the printer, we had no way of knowing that the part provided might not resolve the problem. We're sorry to hear that your printer was not fixed by your technician.
How not to handle a problem!
The item was required for a specific date which did not happen so I asked to return it for. Refund which I was refused. I now have an item which I do not need and has cost me almost £100, very disappointing!!
I run my own business in retail and customer satisfaction is one of the most important factors so positive reviews are shared amongst others. Unfortunately, the manner in which this has been handled leaves me nowhere to go other than leaving a bad review, very poor customer service, not alternative options other than you MUST keep the item now, tough luck!

It appears that someone named Lawrence initially contacted Steve at the end of March to inquire about locating the part, which was not listed on our website at that time. Once identified, Steve added the part to the website but informed Lawrence that it would need to be specially ordered for you, which would result in a delay.
After this, you placed your order on April 1st. At the time, our website clearly stated that the part had an estimated delivery window of 10-14 days. Your order was dispatched on Friday, April 11th, and you received the part on Monday, April 14th.
Upon reviewing the emails, it seems there was no mention that this part was time-critical, which may have contributed to some confusion regarding the urgency of the order.
I hope this clarifies the situation.
