This is absolutely a scam. Don’t waste your time and money. Go for a refund to the credit card company. Their customer service is just a robot. So don’t hesitate to report a scam.

This product is HORRIBLE !! The price was too good to be true and i got scammed. I have 880 mbps upload capability but uploads to this site are worse than the 28.8 kb/sec days of modems. It wold take days to even upload 1 terrabyte of data much less more. I want a refund. This was a RIPOFF. They say there are no refunds. I will have to dispute this on my credit card since they advertise a product that is not usable unless you want to keep your computer running day and night to upload the most minimal amount of data.

So far I am very happy with Prism Drive. I signed up just a few days ago and have successfully backed up several archives.

The ability to share files with friends and family is very simple, and I've used this function quite a bit already.

Support has been very responsive to my requests for help and overall I'm very satisfied with the company and their product!

Working with PrismDrive is like have a root canal, a colonoscopy and a vasectomy all at the same time and without any anesthesia. As far as I can tell, there is not a single redeeming feature to this system. I paid my $90 and I should have known better. Things that come from MacAppware are never a good deal, but this is even worse. It is no wonder that they make such a big deal about no refunds after you have tried it. Others have said do not waste your money---Don't waste your money!!!!

With the passage of time, I have a bit more to add. I am trying to use PrismDrive, as I did pay for it. I am attempting to upload photos and so far this is where I am. My total image folder is 377GB and after 3.5 days of uploading, I am not 1/2 of the way completed. Little wonder they can off unlimited storage. At this rate, I will have long since passed on to another world before my just under 2TB will get uploaded. Do try to find an alternative.

Prismdrive has been good for me. My upload speed is really good. For those who are complaining regarding upload speeds, I would suggest to switch off any backend resource intensive task such as Heavy anti-virus scanning or any other similar activities while uploading a file via browser. Yes, I had issues uploading files in Windows OS, so I just used any browser but in Ubuntu Linux which is extremely light weight. I am mainly using it for archiving files which not greater than 1GB. (File upload more then 2 GB are getting failed hence giving 2 stars less) As Prismdrive is in initial days, teething troubles are expected. Hope they improve service

Prism Drive is a victim of its own success. Great pricing has attracted a lot of customers faster than they can expand their capacity. I was able to backup about 1.2TB of data before I started having significant issues. I emailed them noting the rapid degradation of their service. They responded the next day acknowledging their rapid growth has them scrambling to expand their capacity. I really like the web application but still has a bug or two. Overall, compared to Degoo's startup problems, it is still worth giving PrismDrive time to mature as Degoo has. You may not initially get the full benefit of PrismDrive in terms of reliability, and access, but given time it could turn into great value.

I was hoping to replace another cloud drive solution, and the price was attractive. However, the upload speed is terrible, files are constantly failing and there is no way to see a log of success / failed uploads to retry, the UI is severely lacking features and customer service seems to be non-existent.

Please contact me as I hope to hear from prismdrive support or product management before I just stop using all together and see if I can get a refund.

Service is terrible. Not working properly. Files not uploading and very slow and buggy site. There is no one to answer chat, email or phone. I am disputing payment and getting a refund. Do not buy.

The drive is not working as advertised. It is not possible to upload all files that one want. Without any reason files are rejected. Contacting their so-called support is completely useless because they do not answer. Filed a complaint 3 times without success. The mentioned 30-days-money-back-guarantee is rubbish. I now initiating a charge back trough my CC

...also, there is no Windows app, so if you want to bulk upload stuff, you are out of luck without scripting via the not-so-well-documented api. They make it REALLY hard to store a lot of stuff on it.
