Privatejetcardcomparisons is my go-to source for private jet information. Doug Gollan always has the most current objective information on the private jet industry, and I really appreciate his articles on the economics of flying private. His online newsletter could not be more timely.

Doug knows everything there is to know about flying private. I am researching this for the first time and I have emailed him with several questions along the way and he always answers right away and encourages me to ask further questions.

Doug was quick to respond and very helpful. Honestly the best $250 spent!!!

Doug at PJCC is very informative and helpful. The service and database is critical for understanding the complexity of private aviation programming.

The private jet world is very complicated, and a little bit of research goes a long way. How much you should pay depends on how much you fly, and where you fly. If you take the wrong approach, you could overpay for an inferior product. The great thing about Doug is he knows his stuff. He can guide you into the right program. It is $250 well spent. (And frankly, given how much he helps you find the right program, his research is likely worth a lot more.)

I was introduced to Doug by a friend who knew I was looking for an international charter service for a film production. Despite high level and personal contacts in Qantas, I couldn't get any sense out of them. Another close friend (senior in Etihad) referred me to a Charter Company who turned out to be useless. The subscription fee of $250 seemed almost unbelievable (and I was reminded of the old adage "when you pay peanuts you get monkeys") but my friend spoke highly so I thought I'd risk the $250. It's the best $250 that I ever spent! Doug, literally instantly, referred me to three contacts he believed would best suit my needs. Each of those replied in an expeditious, professional, and empathetic manner. One of those will be my carrier of choice and I couldn't be happier - or more impressed - or grateful! I will definitely use this service again and would unreservedly recommend to anyone.

I have been a paid subscriber to Private Jet Card Comparisons for several months now. I had heard about them a long time ago but I wasn't in market for private travel until the COVID crisis began. I have upcoming critical business travel and I needed to understand the options I had available. I first started my search using Google to understand the difference between charter vs jet card vs everything else that was out there and I came across a few free articles on this site. I was pretty impressed with the quality of the free content so I thought to myself, if their free material is so exhaustive and helpful, I can only imagine what their paid material was going to be like. I went in looking for how to pay to get access to the research material and saw that it was only a couple of hundred dollars. I mean here I am thinking about a 5 figure round trip flight, $250 for exhaustive research? No brainer. I got access to the material and my jaw hit the floor. I do a ton of analysis for my business. I have never seen analysis this thorough. It was inspiring and makes anyone who is into analysis drool. I quickly un-hid all of the columns and my jaw dropped again. There were questions answered that I did not even know that I should ask! Within a couple of hours I had whittled my selections down to a handful of charter and jet card companies that had the highest safety rating and most reasonable prices. I then sent an email to Doug asking his opinion of my selections and he rapidly replied with additional insights helping me understand how to decide which organization to use and even what questions to ask about navigating winter conditions in mountainous regions. Then today his free newsletter shared an article about what to be aware of regarding cancellations of private flights. I learned that acts of god may mean that your funds are tied up if you go with a charter/broker. I was sold once again that a refundable jet card was the prudent choice and I already had my list and Doug's advice. Now I can rest assured that I have done appropriate due diligence on my decision to spend significant sums on a jet card. I really don't know how I would have made a decision without this resource. Thanks Doug for the amazing resources you provide and ongoing value you share.

I was expecting very little from this, but once I took the time to understand the variables I care about and plug them into the excel chart, and then Doug personally helped me with an email specific to my needs, it made the decision 100x easier and I feel very good about the path I've taken. Thank you!

Before becoming a customer, I emailed Doug, the founder, a question. I was blown away by his prompt, friendly and comprehensive response. I hadn’t paid him a penny at that point, and yet he treated me as if I were one of his most important customers. As we shared some additional emails, I realized that his subject matter expertise is astounding. Many people don’t realize it, but private aviation is an immensely complex industry, and one can lose a boatload of money very, very fast if one doesn’t know what one is doing. And that includes extremely smart and successful people who might erroneously and vastly underestimate the tripwires in this field. Doug is the real deal, and I say that as someone who is very well educated and experienced in business. Doug knows what he’s talking about and he has a clear passion to help people. I am now a paid member of his service and completely satisfied. I have never received better or more intelligent customer service in my life. This guy is off-the-charts great.

Private Jet Card Comparisons is a fantastic newsletter which includes a wealth of information otherwise unavailable to the public. Doug Gollan has spent endless time compiling, condensing and translating valuable data about the private aviation industry for his subscribers. Doug's questionnaire and one-on-one input on private aviation options are also extremely valuable; and they are available to all his subscribers. Doug is also accessible by phone and email to his newsletter subscribers which is an added bonus. My investment in a subscription to his newsletter was well worth the cost, and each issue includes additional valuable information.

I am pretty good with Excel spreadsheets, but this may be hard for some. I am a long time Jet Card holder and have done charter and fractional over the years. I am a little nervous about the strength of some providers post Covid. Also looking at flying less, though using private jets more. This is about the only tool out there that covers my needs.
