$15/months is a lie, you will be charged $375/month.

Absolute fraud. I started my plan for $15/month. But I was charged for $375/months for two months. I never receive any bill or notice.

Hi Yorie,

Sorry about the mix up. We always alert our customers 7 days before their free trial ends to give them a chance to cancel their trial.

Concerning our pricing, you can see on our pricing page that our plans are either $15, $20 or $25 per user. If you were charged $375, you must have selected the business plan, which includes 15 users at $25 dollars per user. You can review the details here at projectmanager.com/pricing

If you have any other concerns, please contact us directly at projectmanager.com/contact

Best,

Absolute SCAM

An absolute SCAM. I could give them the benefit of the doubt and say it's only dishonest advertising coupled with a broken website-- but I don't think so. They advertise in big bold graphics "$25 per user"... then bill you $375. When you call them to discuss.. you will get sent to voicemail... for WEEKS. They say, "leave us a phone number and we'll return your call"... Lies. A day or two I understand... but three weeks?

But wait-- you can just contact them through the website-- nope. Those are all dummy links that won't open, and won't let you email them with your problem. Well... they website must be down. Nope. Dummy links that won't open (except the sign-up and payment links of course.

Can't sign in. Can't change password. Can't contact customer support. But they sure were able to charge me $375 for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.... So SOMETHING at their location is working.

Thank God I was able to contest the charges on my credit card. This group is an outright scam. I've been intending to contact PMI and lodge a formal complaint just on the off chance that they might be claiming PMP status.

A clear violation of the ethics clause this certainly is. And then.... a miracle happened. Their system auto-emailed me this request for a review to the site that I can't log into, can't contact, won't return my calls, uses fraudulent marketing and deceptive tactics to lure in hapless suckers like me and steals money from fledgling PM's just trying to get a start.

Shame, shame, shame.

projectmanager.com has been one of my staple site for PM related topics. It most certainly complements many PM resources on the internet. It stands out in its content without undue influence for commercial sponsors. The "on demand" seminars are my favorite which lets me engage at my own time and place and earn my PDUs. Please keep up the good work you do for the PM community.

BEWARE ProjectManager.com is a SCAM!!!

BEWARE ProjectManager.com is a SCAM!!!
They run a completely unethical company. Hiding monthly fees and falsely disclose monthly subscription fees. I signed up for a $15 per month subscription only to find out that a charge of $584 (AUS) has been deducted out of my bank account. When I emailed them directly, I was told it’s in their terms and conditions and they couldn’t refund the money.

I implore anyone who is seeking a project management tool to steer well clear of this company. There are more ETHICAL businesses operating who can provide a much better service. Absolutely appalled. ProjectManager.com. YOU ARE A FRAUD!!!

Suggestions

The tools that are presented and that are available in the emails and portal are useful and allow us to improve the tools that we have in companies that we use for small and / or short-term projects.

In my case, I would appreciate guidelines for scaling those tools to larger projects. It can also be very useful to have a section of lessons learned in the application of the tools that the portal suggests.

Horrible customer service!

Horrible customer service!! I called to cancel the subscription, they apparently do not answer the phone and guarantee a return call in one business day. No so much the case!!! I have been out sick with the virus going around for the last 3 weeks and have not touched their software as I found it overly involved for what my company needed. I explained all this and only response was about their policy! Do not use!! What a scam!!

I had a very frustrating experience…Don’t ever use ProjectManager.com

I had a very frustrating experience with ProjectManager.com where they have charged $375 for a trial without notifying me and also they were not ready to have a phone conversation. In their website it was told that “We'll email you a reminder 7 days before the end of your trial.” and also that I can cancel my subscription anytime.

Neither I have received a welcome email nor a reminder email before the trial ended. When I realised that money has been taken from my account, I have tried calling the number given in the website, but nobody was picking. Then I had to write an email explaining the situation and requesting a call back or the right number to call them. Pathetically they don’t have customer support over phone and they wrote to me this:

“We do ask that all billing related inquires be submitted via email.”

I had also requested them to at least to change my plan to “Personal” and charge less ($75) for my trial and to give me back $300. Even they were not ready for that!

So I request whoever read this, be cautious of loosing your money without having actually getting the service worth it.
