I initially engaged Property Twins based on a direct referral from a friend, expecting at least a baseline level of professional service. I couldn't have been more wrong.

After reaching out, they couldn't even be bothered to pick up the phone to call me back. When I finally did get a response, it was via a poorly constructed text message riddled with bad English.

When I responded to try and get things on track, they actually had the audacity to cancel my appointment entirely, claiming they "didn't like my tone."

If this is how they handle a warm lead from a past client, I can't imagine how they operate their actual business. It takes a lot to shock me when it comes to bad customer service, but their sheer arrogance and complete lack of basic communication skills take the cake. Talk about unprofessional.

Save your time and find someone who actually wants your business and knows how to pick up a phone.

They are best in the business. Working with this team made the mortgage process incredibly smooth. They were professional, transparent, and went above and beyond to find me the best rate. Their communication was excellent, keeping me informed every step of the way. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a stress-free home-buying experience!

Looking back, choosing Sana and Mona as our buyers agents about two years ago was a really great decision.

Because this was an SMSF purchase, we were very cautious. The focus was on buying in the right area with solid long-term fundamentals. Not even two years on, we’re clearly seeing the benefits of that decision through a solid 35% growth performance and strong rental yield increase.

Sana and the lovely team have also continued to support us as our broker, even for our PPOR and all our investment property loans, providing loan reviews which resulted to re-financing to better lenders which provided the best valuation so that we could tap into our equity to be used for the purchase of another IP which is settling next month! The automatic periodic loan reviews also resulted to interest rate reductions which is another clear win!

The SMSF property is now giving us a neutral cashflow - even with a P&I SMSF loan.

We engaged Property Twins (Sana & Mona) as both mortgage brokers and buyers agents for our recent purchase in VIC, now at unconditional approval and awaiting settlement.
Our previous broker stated we lacked serviceability for another investment loan. Property Twins reviewed our position and structured financing that worked.
This is our second engagement with them—three years ago they sourced an SMSF investment property in QLD within a week of our initial contact. That property is performing well.
The 2nd purchase took a few months. The Victorian market started to heat up during this period and Sana & Mona held to their assessment criteria rather than rushing into unsuitable properties. They maintained regular contact throughout and their team responded promptly to queries.

My meeting with the buyers' agent was canceled before it even happened, which was very disappointing. The decision was made by a team member who felt I wasn't being transparent enough with my financial details during a preliminary call. I found their approach to be unprofessional and based on assumptions rather than a willingness to have a proper conversation. For anyone seeking an agent, be aware that their process may involve making judgments about you before you've even had a chance to speak with the main agent.

I understand your process and the importance you place on transparency. That said, on the initial call, the team member identified himself as your brother. Given that he is not a director himself, I was not comfortable sharing my confidential financial details with him and preferred to have that discussion directly with the directors of the business.

I would also note that I was not informed of the cancellation via WhatsApp. The team member simply stopped responding, and I discovered the meeting had been canceled after checking my email.

It is clear that our preferred ways of working are not a match. I have since found an agent who is a better fit for my needs, and I wish you all the best with your business.

I have just received an email from the Property Twins informing me that they had reviewed my portfolio lending. This is just one of the many examples of the extent their team is willing to go to, to ensure their clients are looked after. If there were 10 stars to give, I would.
