In your particular case there were probably small violations such as the One Minute Role and the profit generated for this violation was scaled back.

Commission make it impossible to trade indexes
Not good if you trade indexes like Dax40. I have a 200K account. I buy 80 lots @22860 TP @22878. This should be 718$ win but there is 400$ in comission so my win is only 318$!!! It's impossible to succeed like that. This is really unfair for indexes because for Gold for example the price of the lot is higher so the commission does not have so much impact.

There was an unfortunate issue with MT4 (not caused by them), which they resolved by resetting the negative balance of a losing account, adding 0.5% to the profitable account, and gifting a $27K challenge.
