Unauthorized charge to my credit card and no phone number for customer service! They want you to wait 30 minutes to ‘chat’ with them!

I ordered 3 books in April, since then I've been charged a monthly fee and get and email that a new book is being delivered. I never receive this book and when I attempted to cancel my order, I am unable to on their website nor am I able to connect with customer service. This is a scam which is a shame as I did enjoy the initial 3 books I ordered. Don't trust this COMPANY!

I wish I could put zero because that's what they deserve. I ordered the 3 books just like everybody else and then today I get a text message from my bank that they are trying to charge my card for 104.76. Luckily I responded no I don't approve the charge and so it didn't go through but now they cancelled my card. The only way that I don't have to cancel my card is if I call these people and tell them to erase all my info. You can't reach these people with the number my bank gave me. That number gets you an automated message that gives you an email to contact them. Bottom line I have to replace my card and redo all my auto pays. This company sucks.

I purchased 3 books for my great-grandchildren last month. Today, 10/24/22 I was charged $97.00 through pay pal. I did NOT subscribe to any membership, nor have I ordered anything else. If I cannot get through to pay pal to register my complaint I will take it up through my credit card company and I hope it gives you a black eye as this is a scam. Just look at all identical complaints.

Same as others experiences. Charged an additional $97. Attempted to contact the company with no return phone call.

I also ordered from them and then a month later I was charged $97 for I don't know what. I also tried calling and followed the directions. Not able to go to the site it came up forbidden access!!!

Like the other posts I got charged $97 suddenly. I bought the 3 book set and don't recall seeing anything about a trial offer!! So I'm filing a dispute with Paypal and will find a way to get in touch with them.

I have exactly the same experience! Bought 3 books and one month later I was charged 97 dollars for a membership I never subscribed for.
This is a fraudulent company. Shame, they are selling books for kids.

Same as all the other reviews below. Bought 3 books and then received an additional debit from my bank account for $97.00. I really liked the 3 books I bought and they were meaningful for my grandchildren. Why ruin additional future sales by stealing my hard earned pension? Shame on PDIC Books!

I also ordered 3 books and a month later got charged $103. I have attempted to contact the company through the web site including creating a ticket as instructed. So far I have not received a reply from the company despite the web site indicating they would respond within 24 hours. Terrible service and the author should be embarrassed to have her name associated to such a deceitful company

I have the exact same experience as everyone below. I had purchased 3 books about a month ago...and a month later I am charged 97$ - no idea why!!
Reached out to the company with no response.
Trying to get my CC to reverse the charge now.

Ordered 3 books for grandkids then month later billed for a year subscription to digital books. NO WAY would I have done this. The kids don't live close to me.

If I could rate 0 I would also. I tried to cancel my order because they doubled the order. I am on a fixed income and I can not afford this. This order will take food from my plate!

I ordered a 3 book bundle for like $35.00, then a month later was charged $97.00! Totally unauthorized! Luckily it was on a credit card and not debit.

About 2 months ago I paid for 3 books and received 2 books and it took several weeks to get the third one. This month I was billed $97.00 to my credit card and I had not ordered anything. I called the phone number my credit card co. gave me for them and got an automated message with instructions to go to "help.puppydogs&icecream". I tried this and could not connect to a website. I believe this is a scam.

If I could give 0 stars I would. In reading everyone else’s reviews, all I can say is that I have the same story to tell. Purchased three books (which were a huge disappointment) and then charged $97 usd for a subscription I did not agree to. Coincidentally there was also suspicious charge for a taxi ride in the US (I’m in Canada) listed at the same time. Related? Regardless, I cancelled my card. This is not a legitimate company. I hope this review helps someone.

I only really wanted to buy one book. They upsold me with these crazy pop up windows another set and another book. Great, I guess? I was solo parenting a teen with behaviour problems and thought the books would help. You know what doesn't help? A surprise $137 Can ($97) bill for an online subscription I never agreed to that surreptitiously showed up on my bill as "free subscription" in August. A month later they billed my PayPal. Thanks for adding more stress to my life, small independent book publisher. I can't believe I've been scammed by an indy book publisher. First time for everything.

I have tried and tried to get this charged refunded to my card, without success, indeed, without any answer from this company.

Scam!! Christian company my a$$. Digital library? Free trial??? Charged my card 106 bucks!! No answer on refund. Jerks
