A greedy company that will milk you any kind of money you earn. I quit the membership at 5th of February. The membership ends at 31st of March. Have the audacity to say "don't worry, you can still of course train until your membership ends." What I'm worrying about is you still charging me money ya know. Like why would I pay the February AND March's bill? I want to quit now. Yeah I get it it is in the agreement that 100% people will all read. But we all know it is just extra money you can milk from your hard working members that barely surviving while everything double in price. Please. Please22222 consider this thing about keep having to pay and keep having to have the membership when you don't want it anymore. Don't let the shine of the green money turn up your greed until 11.
Oh and the website is slow too, quite often you can't look into the 'mitpuregym section.' God forbid that you want to pause/cancel the membership .

My local PureGym center was shutdown due to "facilities not living up to the company's standards", and I was offered access to their other centers....which are on completely different islands to the one I live one (so 40 minutes-to-1-hour-drive *one way* to get there). There was no e-mail informing of us of this, but only laminated cards taped to the doors of the gym.
The cards advertised that we had until the 31st of January to cancel our membership or be moved to a different membership. To find out that I'm still being charged for the last month regardless of the fact that I never wanted to change center. It's the usual scummy 'business practices.' If you have other options, use them, and not this gym chain.

This company is incredibly sketchy, after months of cancelling my subscription with them, they automatically withdrawn money from my account WITHOUT ME EVEN HAVING AN ACCOUNT with them. They didn’t delete my data and they didn’t answer my email. It is the worst costumer service since you can’t even telephone them, everything is done via a bot chat, worst company ever, stealing my money

Update- I had to cancel my membership because PureGym closed down the two clubs that were near to me. Even though they say in their terms and conditions that you would pay an extra month if you cancel, its unbelievable that even when they are the once causing an inconvenience to the customer, the customer still has to pay for an extra month for the cancelation. Proof of that is the reply I got from pure gym , as I said previously, pure gym will always make the customer pay more, regardless of the situation, they will never take responsibility.
I was a member of PureGym, formerly Fitness World, for 7 years and had several bad experiences with payments. On some occasions, I was charged twice. At the time, I absorbed the cost and did not escalate the issue. Now, PureGym has closed two of its locations that I had access to, which caused me an inconvenience. Even though it was their decision, when I canceled my membership, I was charged an additional month without any explanation. It’s disappointing that PureGym overcharges whenever possible and provides terrible customer service.

I recently joined the Ellebjergvej 138 branch, and was happy to find new equipment and a large area to practice. The staff and trainers are super nice, friendly and welcoming.
I wish you could offer more pilates classes, especially in the afternoon.

The gym in vestamager where I usually go is very clin and nice staff special the manager is very helpful and a very good always check that everything is clean and perfect the machines are clean and functional, even the changing rooms are really clin and nice very satisfied

I have been an member on and off from PureGym, or what other names they had in the past.
Recently, I cancelled my membership and moved. I didn't realised I owed them for a month of membership before I received a letter from a collection agency called Sergel.
I am very surprised a recognised company like PureGym have so little judgement and working with a collection agency that is hustling extra money. Even though, I always liked PureGym, this experience makes me never come back to them as a client.
This is my story withPureGym's Collection Agency Sergel:
After moving, I didn't receive my Gym membership bill, and received a letter from Sergel 17.12.2024, where I should pay 714DKK within 10 days and was stated it was the 28.12.2024. I paid it on time, but because it was a Saturday, the bank only transfered the money on the following Monday 30.12.2024.
2.1.2025, I received a new letter that I suddenly owed Sergel 1316DKK because I didn't pay on time. In the new letter they didn't even recognized my first payment.
I called Sergel 3.1.2025, where I first spoke with a man who didn't want to say his name (when I asked for it again), I couldn't speak with a supervisor, and he kept mentioning that I paid too late. He were aware of my payment, but why not recognize it in the letter?
Then I called again and spoke with a Maria, which was way more professional but still gave me the same story.
It seems like this company is very ruthless, and trying to SCAM clients for extra money where they can!

I have left message at the reception, many times about the sitted calf machine, because the rounded knee support (foam or sponge) need to be change, because it is totally destroyed, but nothing happened. The metal bar, underneath the foam or sponge, push your knees hard. I asked the staff, provide more rounded foam too, what needs for the weightbar, when you do squats. Otherwise the bar pushing your neck at the back. Nothing happened. The address of the gym is: Jagtvej 113 (or 115)

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Pure Gym in Copenhagen. Due to a mistake in their system, I have been charged over 1,200 DKK for a membership I wasn’t even aware was active after August. Despite my best efforts to clarify the situation and prove it was their error, they have shown little accountability, leaving me to bear the cost for their negligence.
When I renewed my membership in August at the Brønshøj location, the staff member inputted my email address incorrectly. As a result, I never received any communications regarding payments or membership status. Since I didn’t receive any notifications, I wasn’t aware that my membership was still active. The gym made no attempt to contact me through other means, like SMS or a phone call, even though they had those details on file. It’s shocking that a mistake on their part—entering my email address incorrectly—would result in me paying for months I did not use the service. Instead of apologizing and rectifying the situation fully, they chose to pass the blame onto me, citing their terms and conditions.
I had plans to rejoin the gym in January, but this experience has left me feeling deeply disappointed and disrespected as a customer. I would caution others to double-check every detail when dealing with this gym, as they clearly do not prioritize customer satisfaction or fairness.

I recently transferred to this gym location, and my membership fee increased by 40 DKK. A month after the transfer, I went to train and found that the gym is undergoing renovations and no longer has many of its machines available.
I pay for the "All In" plan, but currently, there are no machines or equipment for me to use, which means I am paying over 450DKK for nothing.
The staff suggested that I pay for a bus and go to another location.

The renovated gym is spacious in the free weights area and perfect to have a good session of training. The machines upstairs have been upgraded although it feels slightly more creowded there than before.
