If you like Z6 Error messages…this is the one for you.

I am going to have to agree with previous reviews….something has gone horribly wrong with this company and their devices. It’s funny how professional internet reviewers always give their products high reviews…FOR THE ONE WEEK THEY USE THEM….they need to keep them a bit longer and see how soon they quit working.
I’m on my second Qardio Arm (there WILL NOT be a third in my future). Worked for 3 days before throwing a “Z6” error. Haven’t been able to get a reading for 2 days now, so I’m back to my OMRON and manually entering the readings. Will be returning for the last time with Qardio.

I ordered and paid for the qardioarm but didn't receive it.

I ordered and paid for the qardioarm. The product was shipped UPS. UPS advised it had been delivered. It was not (backed up by RING which showed not activity near the door). I tried to contact the company -- no phone number. Customer service is on line only and only a list of possibilities and requesting real help in getting a product is not one of them. I strongly recommend no one order from this company.

Scale is useless

I bought a Qardio 2 scale in July 2020 and it has just died altogether after multiple issues (i.e. less than 18 months). It needed to be reset every few weeks and I had no confidence in its BF or weight measurements which would sometimes get ‘stuck’ for days at a time. For the last month of its life, the BF measurement was out by nearly 10 percentage points. Useless unless you’re looking for a very expensive doorstop.

Have had good experiences with this company and its products.

I've owned two of these and have found them to be reliable. My first one had no problems but it went missing so I bought another. The second one just failed , but it is unfortunately, out of warranty. I looked through the site, but could find no information on repair services after the warranty. I'll send a note and see what they say and will report back if there is a means to pay for repairs.

Completely satisfied!

I purchased the Qardio Arm several months ago. It works equally well on my iPhone 7, iPad (8th gen), and Apple Watch (Series 6). However, the issue I've encountered randomly is, some of my notes disappear after a few days. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with the device.

Updated Review. Reason for failure discovered

I've had the cardio arm blood pressure monitor since 2014 and it worked reliably for me until just recently. I got occasional readings of Z6 and then It completely stopped working. My past experience with their support was very good. Several years ago the cap holding batteries in place broke and they sent me a new one at no charge. I recently had the readings verified and the pressure results were accurate, Since I've had such a good experience with the device, I ordered a new one. I just received it today and it consistently fails with code Z6. I have contacted customer support. I am interested to see what happens.

Interestingly this cuff, along with the cap that is prone to fail, is no different than my other device. I wonder if it has something to do with the software since I recently saw that on my older cuff before it went kaput.

UPDATE 12/22/21:
Seems the software was updated to be more finicky about the tightness of the cuff placement. I had been putting it on with my arm extended and kept getting that error. Support emphasized that I be able to put 2 fingers under it. That is tough to do one handed. SOLUTION: I flex my arm so my biceps muscle is slightly thickened and then place the cuff. Now I get consistent readings.

Three other reasons I made this 5 star from 1:
1. Support was prompt and patient with me to help troubleshoot the problem.
2. They accepted the return of the new cuff (I had to pay shipping) and reimbursed me as soon as they had the shipping number
2. They sent me another replacement for the broken battery cap on my 8 year old device at no charge.

Rarely works —Useless

Rarely works, starts up ok, then when inflating fails and back to the start. Have tried taking it off and putting it back on, but however I wear it, it fails. Have had one reading where it worked on all three, but since then about 40 fails. I would not recommend this product to anyone, the only thing it does is raise your blood pressure.
Oh, almost forgot, my arm measurement is well within the stated guidelines.

This is the worst blood pressure…

This is the worst blood pressure machine I have a had not only that if you have any irregular heartbeat it will not take your pulse correctly ever I do not recommend this unit to be bought by anybody since the customer service when I spoke to them they never call you back and you can you ever get through

Don't but devices of Qardio

Don't but devices of Qardio. This company doesn't respect its customers. I didn't see more worst support ever. They tried to close the ticket every time – four attempts to close the ticket and zero attempts to fix the bug I sent them. Shame on such companies.

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless. Heavy handed and has worked only once since I bought it. Never turns itself on, real pain to keep taking it off and then trying again, when it simply doesn’t turn on. Extremely poor app that keeps repeating telling you to take it off and start again. Terrible - I threw mine away

Useless, absolutely hopeless, junk.

Received a Qardio Arm as a birthday present. Frankly it is rubbish. I could not recommend it to anyone. In use it fails 90% of the time with a Z6 error (cuff not placed correctly) which is not the case. In use, when it works, without touching the cuff, subsequent tests fail with the Z6 error. I have spent several days persisting with it just in case it really is me. But it isn’t. It is the Qardio Cuff malfunctioning near-constantly.

By comparison, my simple table-top BP tester works 100% of the time, flawlessly. I am returning this back to Qardio for a full refund. Don’t waste your time or your money on this product.

Bought a qardiobase scale just over a…

Bought a qardiobase scale just over a year ago. First of all the weight only registered on the app occasionally and only when the app was open. Second after about ten months it no longer weighs accurately.

Complete waste of £130!

It's been great so far

I've had the QardioArm Blood Pressure Monitor for a week and haven't missed a twice a day reading. The results are the same as with my older cuff which was consistent with the doctor's office. I use the iOS app no problem so far. It makes the whole monitoring process much easier which is important now that I'm weaning off BP meds after getting my health under control . If it stops working or the reading vary too much from my doctor's reading, I'll be back to update since I'll be using it twice a day for the foreseeable future.

Purchased the base 2

Purchased the base 2 , stop working after 3 days and reported it to Qardio , after running all the diagnostics it still didn’t work. was advised I can return the base 2 but I have to pay the return!

Do not waste your money

Do not waste your money. This product has literally never worked, since day 1. I continuously have to manually reset it every day. It is awful. Complete disappointment. I used the aria scale for years until it died and I wanted to try something new. I wish I had stuck with the Aria.

I have had my QardioArm for well over a year now and have found it to be very reliable and after I figured out how to connect it to my device (user error) it has been a very stable device. I am extremely happy with this device and will be purchasing my next one soon.
