The first one I bought worked…

The first one I bought worked excellent. I use it everyday in dialysis. It worked so well that when I saw some on clearance on Amazon that I bought myself a backup and one for a friend. I tried this one a few times over the year or so that I waited for the original one to become worn out and it worked fine. Then when I switched, it worked for a day or two, now there is something wrong with the sensor I presume as it stops pumping and declares a Z6 error after it tries to take a reading. Unfortunately because I bought more than a year ago in anticipation, I am out of luck on warranty. I am using the original, the Velcro is worn out so I do like we do in the hospital and tape it to make the difference but I will have to buy a new one soon I guess. I think it’s good, like I said , I was very happy with the first one.

QuardoArm

QuardoArm: I am now on my third device. The battery cover keeps breaking because the device(s) will not switch on when opening the cuff. I always have to open the battery door, jiggle the batteries and replace the cover. It is so badly manufactured that the cover door keeps breaking. Seriously looking for a replacement device.

Returning my unit today.

Ordered my unit while in acute rehab hospital recovering from a stroke, so it arrived the day I was discharged. Linked unit to my iPhone and iPad. Simple to use but got alarmingly high numbers at times. Took it with me to my appointment with cardiologist and checked accuracy there.
My result=135/99 ; doctor’s result =118/76.
Reached out to Qardio same afternoon, no response. Returning my unit today. I have enough to worry about without the additional stress of whether my reading is accurate when still trying to tweak my medications to get back to a normal life.

wildly Inaccurate

The Qardio Arm consistently reports my blood pressure much higher than what my doctor or an older home blood pressure monitor show. Sometimes alarmingly high. It was a good idea, but is wildly inaccurate.

Please save your money!

We purchase both the base and the arm product. Neither work.

1) The Base product thinks I am 31% bodyfat! I'm very skinny and the machine at the doctors came back with 13%, as did the proper machine at the gym. A bit of +/- would be fine, but this is a joke! It's enough to worry people if they don't check on a proper machine.

2) The Arm product seemed OK to begin with, but the readings vary wildly and do not match with either doctors office or readings of standard Omron kit. Now it's stopped working... Obviously replaced batteries and played around with it, but Qardio's 'Support' team just send videos showing how to change the batteries!

In short, think a lot of the reviews online are fake and the company stance on refund/replacement is just to fob customers off until they decide not to waste any more of their life.

Hardware is hard and the concept of these items is great, but if this iteration of your product is not there yet, be candid, replace or refund and maintain customer trust!

qardioarm measurement errors?

Either all those positive reviews about the qardioarm were ghosted or trustpilot is making measurement errors. This product is a deadend. It cannot successfully perform 3 consecutive measurements without a measurement error. The remedy for a measurement error is to follow a laborious process of removing the device, closing it by re-wrapping, then opening it and repositioning it. How's that work for blood pressure management?

Dreadful Delivery Service

I purchased a Qardio Arm and Qardio scales combination on line on the 28th March and used my PO Box address as the delivery address. I even got a confirmation email from them stating this was satisfactory.

On 30th March I got an email from Qardio advising me that there was an issue with my purchase and that their 'carrier' could not deliver to a PO Box address. Could I give an alternative address for delivery. This is strange because their 'Carrier' is Australia Post. They just dumped it in the routine mail.

So I gave my home address, but advised that we do not get mail delivery out here (hence PO Box address), it would need to be a carrier (DHL, Star Track Express etc.).

On the 3rd April I sent them another email asking if they had received my previous email and whether the address was okay as I had not heard back from them.

I contacted them on 4th April to again ask if everything was okay as I had now had SEVERAL emails from them stating that my PO Box address could not be used. I got an automated reply saying they were experiencing higher than normal enquiries (not surprising really).

On the 5th April I got an email saying that my order had been shipped and it would be with me 'soon' and was going with Australia Post Ground Parcel. The shipping address given in this email was my home address (remember, Australia Post do not deliver to my home address).

The tracking information shows that it went into the Australia Post system on 5th April and arrived in Adelaide on 7th April. On the 12th April the parcel was still at the sorting office in Adelaide.

I have made three calls to Australia Post to find out what is going on and it was only after the third call that they opened an enquiry.

On 15th April I asked for a refund from Qardio and I was given a $25 refund as a thank you for my patience. I wrote back saying that I had asked for a full (not partial) refund and asked for a return address.

On 16th April I was informed that I would receive a full refund and that I should simply RTS the package when it arrived.

It is now 17th April and I have just been informed by Australia Post that my package has been delivered. Guess where to? MY PO BOX ADDRESS. Of course Australia Post delivers to PO Box addresses, they own the bloody things.

Qardio now have a banner on their on line ordering that states that they cannot deliver to PO Box addresses. So they are going to loose a lot of business because I don't think they realise that a lot of people in Australia do not get mail delivered to the door. And if they continue to use Australia Post as the 'courier' then they will deliver to a PO Box address. So Qardio need to really sort themselves out.

An appalling service by both Qardio and Australia Post.

Qardiocore

Had qardiocore for a little over two months. For me the device worked well but the app crashes frequently when reviewing ECG traces. Sadly now it’s stopped charging. I’ve reviewed troubleshooting instructions and nothing has helped. I emailed Qardio as you can’t contact them any other way. They sent me a link which shows how to charge it! Not helpful. I’ve emailed them back. Overall dissatisfied with this product and the poor support especially considering the cost of it. I’ll update this review if things improve.

I've had my Qardioarm for about 9months…

I've had my Qardioarm for about 9months now and it's worked very well, only problem I've had is that the battery cover has broken where it holds the cover in place, it's a thin plastic bar and is very a weak point, Qardioarm still works though.

Initially it refused to work with one plus six Android

Initially it refused to work. Extremely frustrated with this expensive device bought to replace iHealth monitor (that always worked). The customer support is ribbish. There is no one to offer advise. All videos indicate it to be an easy to use device but it is not. Opened the battery compartment several times and also did a complete reset. After wasting two hours and writing four emails to qardio help, it suddenly worked. I cannot explain why and how? I hope it continues to work.

A good product but have some minor issues.

I am happy about this purchase, the only issues that I found out is the lack of reset button. Everytime I use it, I need to remove and re-insert the battery cover. Maybe this the reason why the slot where the locking took place has now broken. I email the seller already for this problem, if they can send me a replacement batter cover. And also, I made a suggestions to improve the device in this area. I will update as soon as they responded to my request.

I can't get mine to work

I can't get mine to work. Did everything I was suppose to,but still can't. Even went on the net for help. And also, since I have opened the cuff up and put it on my arm. I can not get to close all the way back up to put it back in the box.I am really frustrated with the hole thing. Should of read some of the customer complaints first.

I was excited to get my device

I was excited to get my device, great design, good reviews, no tubes or wires, sleek case, integrated with Apple Watch ;-) Initially it seemed to work okay if a little hit and miss on the success of readings. I need to get used to it I told myself. Irregular heartbeat detection messages received, GP visit, ECG test, change of meds, awesome that this little device could detect such things. All clear from medical reviews. Cuff placement, Z6 messages, irregular heartbeat messages, turned into a nightmare. New batteries, read instructions again and again. The device to monitor my BP was becoming the cause of increasing my BP. Thankfully 60 Day money back guarantee. I hope this will not be your experience and do not have a bad experience with the support, the brand. I will return the product and pick another brand.

Update, refund was effortless and nice experience. Since then found Omron intellisense which is great.

Looks Great, Poor Functionality, Lousy Customer Service

I wanted to integrate all my health data into the Apple Health app and this is compatible. I purchased the BP unit (QardioArm) and the scale (QardioBase 2) with high hopes. The BP unit is compact but is extremely inconsistent in terms of turning on. They wanted to have the "gee whiz" factor of turning on when you unroll the sleeve but about 90% of the time my unit did not turn on. I had to change the batteries, reroll it tightly and unroll it, and do other tweaks to get it to turn on. For device sold for its technology and ease of use, this is a flop. The scale is even worse. It also looks wonderful but it has no correction for muscle mass. I am a long-time weightlifter with lots of lean muscle mass and about 15% body fat measured with calipers. The scale registers me at about 35% body fat with almost no muscle at all. I've bought other WIFI scales over the years and all of them had a correction for muscular people. This renders the scale useless for my purposes. Customer service takes anywhere from 24 to 72 hours to respond to emails: that's not the mark of a great internet retailer. The final insult was that when I went to return the scale, they informed me that I would have to pay shipping back. Well, it's not much but it's the unwillingness to take responsibility.

How do I contact Customer Support

I have set up my Qardio Arm linked to my Android tablet no problem, but when I put on the cuff tightly and press Start, I get an error message. I notice that mine is for medium to large, I have a thin arm, maybe I got the wrong size but there was no option on purchase.
I am unable to find Qardio customer Support. The Australian address on the documentation is unknown to White Pages. I came across a Returns Procedure on the Net but no details. There are no contact details on the documentation.
Can anyone help here?
