Delivery service two weeks late, abrupt staff
Delivery service two weeks late after not replying to several emails. Customer services not very helpful and abrupt. Will not be using QD again

I purchased a garden set from QD
I purchased a garden set from QD. There was an issue with the pricing on the receipt. I contacted Head Office, and spoke to Laura. She asked me to email a copy of the receipt to her and replied almost immediately, refunding the sum in question and adding a £20 voucher for goodwill. Excellent service and thank you Laura. My faith in the service industry is restored thanks to you.

1ST Order, won’t be a second
Very disappointed with QD Stores. Ordered a dining table and chairs, arrived a day late only to find no legs were in the box with the dining table. Despite constant emails and telephone calls which are only answered when you press 1 for placing orders, very few replies and no delivery date for legs. I have now contacted head office requesting delivery of the legs, or a replacement table within 7 days if not I would like to cancel and have the chair and tabletop collected and order cancelled.

If I could give it zero stars I would…
If I could give it zero stars I would I am a disabled customer with hidden disabilities these disabilities are not always visible so I wear a sunflower lanyard and card I am also accompanied by a carer I visited the angila square store in Norwich on Monday 1st March the store was not looking it’s best and was in a run down state but that did not stop me from getting the items I needed but once I had reached the till with my carer he was told that only one person was allowed at the till and that he had to move away he did stand back but could see I was struggling and moved back to the till to help and support me again extremely rudely he was told to move I explained he was my carer and even though my disability card and laynard was visible I held it up for the two staff members behind the till to see but the woman at the till next to me continued to tell my carer to move both members of staff were extremely rude and were not interested in the fact that I was and could prove I was a disabled customer and I needed my carers help my carer did not move and stayed with me until I had paid and left the store while the staff still continued to speak rudely to my carer and myself to the point my carer got a bit annoyed and stated to the two members of staff that he was staying with me and if they didn’t like it they could sue him. I have never felt so embarrassed in my life I noticed on my way out that there is indeed a notice on the wall behind the tills stating only one person at the till at a time unless you are accompanied by a child or a carer maybe QD stores should educate there staff on their own policies and stop disabled people from having to go through this shame on you QD Stores

I'd give a 0 if I could.
I'd give a 0 if I could.
I ordered a Daewoo kettle and toaster off them. Order arrived fine. Less than six months later, the kettle breaks. No reason, just shoddy electrics. Contacted QD Stores 3 times via email, and repeatedly on social media with no response.
DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE WITH YOUR MONEY. It is highly likely they are selling returned / defective goods as new.

Good show
Got to say something about the Aylesbury branch.
Six months ago, the store was a nightmare.
The queuing system was awful, the shop was a mess and very little social distancing going on.
Today however...
Clear markers on the floor, everyone wearing masks, sanitising station by the door, the queuing area is a marvel and till staff wearing masks and gloves.
Till staff cleaning the counters between serving customers too.
Top notch, well done.
One gripe.
The till spit guard screens are too small.
Other than that, like I said, top notch, well done QD Aylesbury.
Oppressive atmosphere and untidy
Oppressive atmosphere and untidy at Anglia Square store. There were trip hazards such as hangers and buckets in the aisles yet staff were just standing around. Some were rudely addressing customers whose masks had accidentally slipped down their noses millimetres! Some products were far from good value such as old Xbox games very overpriced. Lots of tat.
Overall very dispiriting - no wonder online shopping is so appealing.

Not too sure about some of the bad reviews here. I had a bit of problem with being able to track my order so emailed customer services. I would honestly have to say that my problem was dealt with very professionally and efficiently by an absolutely fantastic customer services representative. My issues were dealt with and quickly resolved and the communication was exemplary. I don’t feel it’s right to name the particular customer services representative but if anyone from QD management reads this you should be very proud of this particular employee.

I emailed this company five weeks ago to explain they have delivered the wrong item( a cheaper one) and they didn’t have the manners to reply, it’s safe to say this company is less than useless which is a shame because the product wasn’t bad

Firstly I am a genuine customer and was surprised to see such bad reviews. I have made several orders from here online as I came across the website by chance and am nowhere near any of the stores, my first order went without a hitch...the second order was delivered by DHL and was apparently used as a football
I Emailed customer service and was replied to the same day by a lovely helpful lady called Kim (thanks Kim)
She sorted out my issue straight away and I was very happy with the customer service.
Due to a slight mixup (we are all human) I needed to contact them again and this time was dealt with by an equally lovely lady called Rachel (thank you too) the issue has been resolved to my satisfaction and whoever recruited those two members did a great job, so often there is a couldn't care less attitude and I found both customer service agents provided excellent service and attitude! I can't speak for anyone else but I am very happy with the service I received and would use the website again.

Qd in kings Lynn is fantastic staff are always very nice. And prices are very competitive.
Recently started using qd online and yes delivery is quick but I must say returning faulty item is much more difficult.

Customer service
I recently bought from QD for the first time on line. I bought a Pringles advent calendar amongst other things. The calendar was bashed and damaged. I contacted customer service who apologies and immediately refunded my money asking me to dispose of said calendar in a responsible manner - that’s customer service
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! Wish I’d read reviews before I ordered, ordered weeks ago and still no sign of delivery. I emailed customer service who advised I’d get an email when the items had been shipped, but I’m still waiting on that email. Luckily I didn’t spend too much on the site but definitely DO NOT ORDER from here, as you won’t be seeing the items, and no refund will be given.
I feel this company is using Covid as…
I feel this company is using Covid as an excuse for extremely poor customer service. Having already taken payment from my card without even having dispatched the items, I am still sat waiting for a reply to my email two weeks on. The phone takes you around in a loop 'thanking you for your patience...' Other, far smaller companies are also dealing with 'difficult situations' and 'unprecedented demand' but managing to dispatch items in a week. QD seems to think a 30 day turn around is acceptable! I will not be using this firm again.
Pleasantly surprised
Placed my order online and then came to trust pilot and read the reviews and was immediately concerned! A week after ordering there was still no sign of a dispatch email so I contacted customer services who replied within 24 hours with the usual copy & paste response that they’re very busy right now and they will let me know when the order has been dispatched. To my surprise I DID receive a dispatch email a full week later (2 weeks after the order was placed). It took almost 3 weeks after ordering but today I received my full order via Parcelforce who texted me a time delivery slot and actually came early. It was packaged brilliantly, with plenty of bubble wrap and packing to keep my items safe in transit. Overall I am happy, even more so after the initial panic from reading these reviews! I cannot speak for the returns policy as I have no need to return. I felt inclined to leave a positive review on the sea of negative ones for anyone like myself who might panic if they read these after already ordering!
