I love this app – makes investing super-accessible!
I love this app! I'm fairly new to investing but Wombat makes it so accessible and engaging. I particularly like the round-up feature and the curated funds that allow you to spread the inherent risk across several companies with a similar theme. I'd say it took less than 5 minutes from downloading the app to being fully verified and buying my first shares – very intuitive and straightforward, even for a novice.

Buggy
See support request 27955. Basically the app is buggy, things fail and you are not notified, leading to confusion / poor experience. This smacks of an “MVP” product pushed into prod too early, before proper QA.

Hi Laura, we are sorry that your experience of Wombat has not been up to our normal high standard so far.
The issue surrounding your failed trade has been investigated and measures put in place to to avoid this happening in the future. We did experience an unusually high volume of trades on that day (which is a good thing!) and we have learned from this and adjusted accordingly.
Also, like most apps, our app will occasionally need an update or reset; we find that deleting and reinstalling the app can solve a multitude of issues.
