Don't give them your business or your money.

I agree with all the negative comments on here. My account was restricted within 10 minutes of opening because I tried to place a couple of bets at their advertised prices. Obviously they do not want winners or losers at any price, in fact I don't know why they are in business if they do not want any customers.

I think the description of bookmaker is slightly flattering for these morons. Don't they understand that there are plenty of bookies out there making a good few quid by allowing punters to actually place bets with them!

Very very bad

Very very bad, stay away. Placed a bet this morning and then got an email 5 mins later saying that I could not place a bet on fixed odds anymore. First bet with them.... DO NOT USE. Get them closed down. Bookmakers like this do not deserve to be in business.

Absolute shambles. Opened an account using the offer, won a single bet, then informed hours later that restrictions have been placed on my account. Avoid!

Avoid at all costs

I would recommend that you avoid this company. I opened an account at 5pm, tried to place a bet which was refused at 6.30pm. I contacted their support line who got back to me to say restrictions had been place on my account !!!!!!!!!!!!! I had not even placed one bet. I have never experienced anything like it. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

Do not go anywhere near this company

Do not go anywhere near this company! I've had an account with them for a couple of years (with very minimal usage) and a couple of weeks ago deposited some money with them to make a US horse racing bet. The odds changed and I subsequently decided not to place the bet, but on trying to withdraw my money, they told me they needed to see a copy of my driving licence and a utility bill to verify my identity. They also locked my account at this point. After some futile protests on my account, I sent them both, but apparently in the wrong format, so my account remains locked and they still have my money. This has taken nearly a week so far and I'm now trying to go down the formal complaint route, which they seem reluctant to do! I have accounts with all the major bookies and Racebets are by far the worst.

Signed up, immediately restricted.

Honestly I've gambled with some shoddy bookmakers before but racebets take the cake, they informed me I wasn't eligible for any promotions, after my first bet. Now they've informed me I'm not eligible to use their site even without best odds guaranteed or any bonuses.

They're trading team must be petrified. They don't update odds quick enough so perhaps if they spent less time checking their clients and more on their product maybe it would have been a more mutually beneficial relationship.

Credit where credit's due though, their site is a genuine pleasure to use. Thoroughly impressed with that side, just a shame you can't use it for long!

DO NOT Sign up with them!!!

Absolute disgrace of a company, nearly every time you go to place a bet it loads for 30 seconds and says the odds have changed, this happened to be on 10 occasions in a row. I got credited with a free bet for £50 to which I tried to place it and guess what the odds changed every time, then i got an email to say I can no longer use fixed odds and can only bet £4.39. This company is a pure scam to try and extort money of people using this offer, surely no one can regularly use a site where the odds change every time you use it. If you read this review or any others PLEASE dont bother with this awful company, it’s a total waste of your time and money

Signed up, immediately restricted

Signed up, as they seemed to have decent odds and offered a signup bonus. Tried to place a £50 bet on a great tip. They declined my bet after a 30 second limbo. I tried again, after their odds had dropped. They accepted it. Within minutes and long before the bet had settled, they emailed me to tell me that I had been disqualified from fixed odds bets and any bonuses. Total jokers. Avoid like the bubonic.

Withdrawing like pulling teeth

A first I really enjoyed the concept of racebets: a bookmaker offering only horse racing markets.

In theory it's a good idea. However, just like a lot of of average bookmakers a lot of simple things are so frustrating.

Firstly, there is no option to withdraw on a mobile device. They tell you to use desktop version but the iPhone doesn't load it. How hard is it to add withdrawal to mobile device? I think they knew what they were doing with this.

Secondly, they have the pending withdrawal thing. This only benefits the bookmaker and they tell you they are processing it. It's a lie. No bookmaker needs three days to process a withdrawal. A lot can do it instantly to PayPal. However, they dangle the carrot to tempt you into cancelling.

Two very sly tactics used by a bookmaker to improve their profit.

Not sure how the gambling commission allow this but all the bookmakers have the commission in their pocket anyway.

It's so easy and quick to deposit but withdrawing it like pulling teeth.

Avoid Racebets

Avoid Racebets. I deposited £100 to my account. When I went to place my bet the odds changed from 6-1 to 4-1. I decided to not go ahead with the bet and withdrew my £100. Racebets then emailed me to say they won't let me withdraw my own money unless I bet the £100 with them !!!
They quote some dodgy rule in their "terms and conditions". I have never encountered this with any other bookmaker and am sure it is not legal. They plague you with emails stating they are the "fresh face" of bookmaking. Well they are definitely fresh and very very dodgy. AVOID.

Opened a betting account with Racebet

Opened a betting account with Racebet, deposited £50 and the bet lost. Racebet then give me a £50 free match bet once the first bet was settled.

The free bet lost so I'm down £50 of my own money! I deposit another £50 and try to place a bet and they restricted me to £2.27 for no reason what so ever. I called them and they said its a traders decision so I decided to withdraw my £47.73 remaining, however the mobile APP does NOT have WITHDRAW yes you heard that right NO WITHDRAW and had to spend another hour to eventually get my £47.73

BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND AND IN THE PROCESS OF COMPLAINING TO THE GAMBLING COMMISION! AVOID RACEBET

This bookmakers is a SCAM

This bookmakers is a SCAM
They ripp off clients using two methods
First is that they do not alow you to see the prices of the bets you have matched in your betting history and almost every payout is cut at the price significantly lower than the price client matched.
For example you match your bet at 1,80 price and later they pay 1.50

Second method the use is simply converting winning bet in to a losing by changing the data. 16.07.2017 i placed bet at Cherles Town horse race 2 on Mr. Jacoby horse nr 4 at price 2.2.for 100 USD. They changed this bet in Charles town race 4 on My City horse nr 7. wich was losing bet.
Of course i didn't placed any bet on this horse and this race.

Somebody should remove this scam out of the market and put them in jail.

I am quite proud to see that Racebets is the 1st bookmaker , over two decades , to realise in advance what an excellent punter i am , and instantly exclude me from all offers . Sadly therefore i will not make my fortune from them on this occasion

CON ARTISTS

CON ARTISTS: Opened an account because of the generous £50 free bet offer, Placed a £50 bet on a fav on English horse racing, Then my limits were cut to ridiculous amounts so i could not place my free bet on any selection. Reported them to the governing body that adjudicates them, That was over a year ago and have heard nothing from them!

Worst bookmaker I have ever used

Worst bookmaker I have ever used. Staggered that they have a license from the Gambling Comission. They restricted my account before I had even finished registering which I complained about.
They then lifted the restriction until my first bet with them won and at the end of the race sent an email telling me I could only have SP's and that I would only be allowed to bet on what they want me to.
Truly awful bookmaker
AVOID

Shady company

Shady company, got an email from them stating I could have a 50% deposit bonus for my birthday. Deposited my money and found they had banned me from bonuses. Got that sorted out over live chat to find they had banned my from fixed odds betting. They said I am more than welcome to bet on starting price odds and tote bets. OK fine so I go to place a bet to findo I am stake restricted. Avoid this shady underhanded company.
