I read the negative comments below and thought it might be worth updating everyone.I am a punter whose stakes are under £100 and I do not have any other connection with RaceBets.
I opened my account about a year ago and can well believe the comments below because, initially, RaceBets simply refused to take my bets claiming that they did not have the capacity to take bets before 10 am even though they had advertised prices! Utterly ridiculous!
HOWEVER, since RaceBets came off Oddschecker.com, they have taken my bets on every occasion and well before 10 am, they have offered either top prices or good prices, they have settled the bets correctly, they have honoured the best odds guarantee and they have processed withdrawals quickly and without requesting any identification documentation.
Something has clearly changed and this company is now well worth your (re) consideration.

I opened an account and made a deposit. Without placing a bet, I emailed within one hour to be advised that I had been restricted to SP bets only. The reason is unclear and I can only guess that I had betfair open in a browser at the same time and they didn't like it.

I had an account with them with which was already verified several years ago. I recently made a deposit after I had moved to a new country and they requested a new proof of address. I sent a utility bill but for some reason they didn't accept it and asked for another one. As I can't provide any other document (nor would I bothered to waste so much time for 20 euros) I asked them to simply give me my deposit back and close my account, but they refuse to do so and say that they will confiscate my money.

All this to scam me 20 crappy euros; you can imagine what they will do with larger deposits.

I went to put a bet on one of the antepost markets at Cheltenham (4m National Hunt on day 1). After depositing my £200, and then trying to place the bet it said please wait. I waited 3 minutes, only for them to say it was too big. Fair enough. Then, as I tried placing £50, THEY CUT THE ODDS INTO 16/1 FROM 20/1 WITHOUT ME EVEN PLACING A BET.
This is such a quiet market at this time of year, and clearly they saw me wanting to take a good bit of early value and trimmed it because I flagged it by wanting a bet. DISGUSTING. At least other bookies offer you a smaller stake.

Saw these listed on oddschecker, I followed the link through and saw a signup offer so decided to give this company a go, I put my details in and as soon as my account was made I received an email to state I couldn't participate in bonuses, why advertise something if you cannot offer it, asked them to close my account and remove my details, cowboy website.

I opened an account, placed 1 bet (which won £75) and immediately received an email from them stating that betting restrictions had been placed on my account, effectively making the account unusable. I have a lot of bookmaker accounts and I am aware that bookmakers do impose certain restrictions on your account but never have I experienced this happening after the placing of just 1 bet. As I have no betting history, the decision to make these restrictions can have no basis whatsoever. I wonder if the same decision would have been made if my bet lost. I would imagine not! If this is how they treat all customers, I'm amazed they are in business. Completely unacceptable.

Joined Racebets had a few losses amounting to £1000 then a couple of lucky wins totalling £1400. They immediately restricted my account ,removed all bonuses and limited my max bet.

I tried to withdraw my winnings and struggled. They wanted every bit of verification that they could out of me and that wasn't enough. Apparently a passport isn't enough of a proof of identity!?

Still no pay back, not even my deposit. Only option left is to open a complaint with the gambling commission.

Avoid at all cost. There's no honour, they only want #MugPunters!

I would also like to add that as far as the website goes. It's not at all intuitive. It's impossible in the mobile version of their website to place any double, accumulator or lucky 15 etc and their odds are not competitive.

as soon as i verified my account was told i was not allowed any bonus even before i had placed a bet also i was told i was not allowed too place fixed odds on the account, these jokers should not have a licence to take bets,. AVOID

We regret to inform you our Traders have restricted all fixed odds bets on your account. You can still take prices at SP, via the SP column as opposed to the fixed odds one, however these bets will also be restricted to smaller stakes, in which case you will be notified via a pop up, as to the stake amount when attempting to place a bet.


As you are currently trying to place bets on fixed odds with your bonus they are not able to be placed

Why Is this, seem rather unfair?!


Afterall I have placed 1 bet as per the terms and conditions. I lost that bet. I would not have placed that bet if I was not going to get the free £50 bet


Can you please give any reasons?

However please note you will be able to wager the welcome bonus on bets placed on SP odds.

This is not on. You have no grounds to change the terms and conditions of the initial contract. I will be making a complaint to the Malta Gaming Authority.

If you do decide to give them a try, you will for sure find your account restricted (or closed) for no other reason than you were fortunate enough to have a small win or backed horses that were over priced thus beating the SP.

Their verification process is long winded and their payout is slow.

The last two positive reviews on this site (prior to mine) are almost certainly not genuine and probably written by someone associated to Racebets - don't believe a word, just read the negative reviews to get a feeling as to the shower you are dealing with.

I am English have been backing on English horse racing for over 60 years and have used most of the English bookies I have been with racebets for about 3 years and find them to be the most generous and fair giving plenty of cash bonuses and special offers the staff are all polite and friendly satisfied customer norman malta

Bad choice to open account with them. They accept my bet and then say it was after the race. How the hell can you accept a bet after a race. They suck and. Do everything so that they don't have to pay you

Lose few bets since opening an account with them. The last bet, I put 10 euro on a horse I like with odd more than 10. Immediately I got an email that I am only allowed to bet SP but not early odd.
They are just so stupid because my bet end out losing.
Anyone who thought of joining RATbet...please dont. You are wasting your time and I doubt they will pay me if I really won the bet.

I made the mistake of winning a bet.
My account was immediately flagged as not eligible for fixed price bets, only SP, and no future bonuses.
I had tried to place a £ 10 bet at 15/8 when all this happened.

Ridiculous.

People stay away from racebets. They are no bookmaker, no integrity, no honesty, no values... they are nothing

They will not pay me my winnings, as each time i fail their "verification" for KYC. I have logged a complaint to the Malta Gaming Authority and invite everyone facing the same to do so. This company must be shut down for the sake of everyone.

I signed up after seeing an offer of a 1st deposit match up to £50, before I had a chance to deposit I received two emails from them, the first to say my account had been excluded from any bonuses, including the welcome bonus, the second asking me to verify my account. I decided just to ignore both and forget about the account, what a waste of time this company are!

Signed up to place a bet...received an email saying that my account wouldn't qualify for any bonuses....deposited some money to place a £50 bet and they wouldn't even let me stake £1....

What's the point so I withdrew my £50...Another on the list to go with the likes of Betfair, Ladbrokes, Betfred & Boylesports
