Am absolutely disgusted with Ralph Lauren’s attitude towards me as a loyal customer for 25 years+.
Will never ever ever ever give them another penny.
I usually shop at their outlets but what I wanted they didn’t have the colour in the outlet so I ordered a pair of green cargo joggers for £160 from their website and apparently UPS delivered them to my address and left them on the doorstep which is just stupid to do anyway with an item of such value, UPS sent me an email stating they were left there and also a photo but when I got home from work many hours later the package wasn’t there?!?!? UPS apparently try delivery 3 times & then leave parcel with a local collection shop but not on this occasion it seemed… hmmm!
I contacted Ralph Lauren & was promised an email or phone call back by the end of the day but received neither, phoned a couple of days later and was told the same thing and received nothing again. Phoned again & explained my situation and the person sounded like they cared & was going to get back to me 100% with a solution by the end of the day but you guessed it- Nothing once again.
Woke up the next morning with an email from Renise who is a “Customer Service Specialist” apparently saying - “ Based on this confirmation of delivery, we consider the matter closed and we are currently unable to process refunds for items reported as missing, particularly the Missing Items from your order.”
Phoned them again and just got told they can’t do anything because the item has been marked as delivered even though UPS have clearly admitted leaving the parcel outside the property.
Opened up a PayPal case & waited to escalate the case to a claim and supplied them with all the current information and have waited for the amount of time they said to give Ralph Lauren a chance to reply and you guessed it - Nothing from them once again!! But I’ve just got a deserved full refund thanks to PayPal, so glad I paid with PayPal because if I didn’t I would 100% be £160 out of pocket with no item.
Since this has all happened I have returned a £330 jacket & a pair of £130 joggers to the RL outlet store at Bicester village and will never spend money with RL again, I’ve honestly spent thousands with them over the years but never again will they get a penny of mine, they’ve lost a good customer for life.
For such a luxury brand who’s prices have got way out of hand imo their customer services are slack with no care or respect for their customers whatsoever!
Bye RL, I hope you go bust, I’ll be using your old clothes to wash my windows with & will never wear your brand again!

I purchased leather Ralph Lauren boots and got plastic…
I purchased a air of Ralph Lauren zig zag boots wore them about 6 times ,I started to see large cracks appearing all over the boot uppers .the label in the boot stated leather,but looking at the cracks the boot upper were plastic,I told Ralph Lauren about this and all they were interested in was did I have a receipt not the fact I had been mislead by there labeling ,and thinking I was buying a expensive quantity boot instead I got plastic poor quality item

Placed an order, a few days later I received an email saying that it was no longer in stock, despite being told that my refund has been processed I am still awaiting my money, I have been promised an update via email and contact from a manager, neither have materialised, very poor service which is showing no signs of improving.

Would've given ZERO star. I should have read the reviews before ordering online. Package never came, ups tracking says multiple delivery attempts made but no one really came! No infonotice either which means they lied about attempting. I kept saying that I have been home these 2 weeks when the supposed delivery attempts were made but no one came! RL just replied with templates saying that ups have attempted but I was never there. Feels like we're going in circles! Package was eventually automatically returned to sender and cs said they will issue a refund. Based on the comments here I should not be expecting my money back in weeks or even months! Or who knows if they will really do the refund. Complete waste of money, time, and energy! run buyers!

Chased up refund status to be told that it can take another 14 days to be returned to their warehouse in Italy, and another 10 days after that for my refund?!
This is contrary to UK law - which states I should receive refund within 14 days of them receiving the goods back: Which they have - to the address they told me to send it to.
I'm going to have to open a chargeback through American Express, it seems.

The RL outlet in Swindon is a complete mess, as a fellow shopper described it “it’s like a jumble sale”. I can’t believe RL let this shambles continue in their name. Then try the UK customer service - wow, it couldn’t be worse. UK RL act like they are a cheap pound shop brand, rather than one of the worlds leading brands.
Avoid ordering directly from RL online
The customer service is not great to be honest, they do respond but they are not particularly helpful. Their delivery provider is UPS where it seems like they don't even bother trying to establish where your missing order has gone. UPS sent me an SMS to state the following: 'Arriving soon! Expect delivery 12.45 - 14.45'
The goods never arrived. So when 3pm came I thought I can't wait in all day without some idea what is going on. The response I got was Ralph Lauren customer services basically said it might come later today, if not it might be tomorrow (Sunday) if it doesn't come Monday let us know. So you are left wondering OK so I have to wait in all day Saturday, all day Sunday and all day Monday. Not a great response.
UPS won't communicate either the tracking doesn't say where the van is, how many drops before your address, it just says on the van. The last entry says the van is back at the depot at 8pm. Hello why didn't you call me UPS?
This is the first time I ordered Ralph Lauren goods online they're expensive (quality brand) as you know and you are paying for the delivery on top of your order. There isn't a reason why I'd buy any goods from them in the future via their online portal until they address the numerous poor reviews. A lot of that is caused by their contract with UPS - they need to sort this out.
When the item did arrive eventually after I raised a complaint it was well packaged. The products were the rights designs, colour and the correct size so no issues there.

Arrogant and dismissive
I would not buy anything from Ralph Lauren again. One star is too much. Mid November I ordered a shirt for my husband as a Christmas present. I called two weeks later to chase delivery. I was advised the package had gone missing and an investigation would be carried out by UPS. I have had no follow up calls from RL as promised. I am the one chasing. RL said they would not give me a refund to buy a shirt elsewhere until the investigation had been completed. RL’s support staff’s attitude has been unhelpful, arrogant, dismissive and totally non-customer focused. They did not provide the service or response that you would expect from a quality brand. It has been UPS who has been understanding and helpful and in regular contact. The investigation is still on going but after threatening a bad review and monetary compensation from RL they have confirmed they will refund my money now. It is going to take a month for the refund to hit my bank account, too late to buy my husband a Christmas present!

Absolutely useless! What's more is they really couldn't give a toss about you, your money, your order or what is now your problem.
We ordered a product from Ralph Lauren on the 27th November and here we are still filling out forms with UPS (who also have no time or concerns for what is now your problem) on the 27th December.
Surely it should be RL taking this poor service up with UPS? Not us! We have recieved no refund or product.

Worst online shopping experience ever
Worst online shopping experience ever. Three apology emails from UPS saying parcel misdirected and three different dates and times subsequently given for delivery, which did not materialise Still no parcel received after contacting customer services twice and being assured that I would receive my parcel that day - needless to say still waiting.. I have been offered £45 compensation but as I have bought a coat costing over £200 and still not received it I have requested that my money be refunded soonest. I am sure I will have problems getting my money back from this company. Reading the reviews on this company I am unable to understand why trading standards are not looking into this. I will most certainly be contacting them and if necessary also the national press because I think other people should be warned about this dreadful company and the way in which it operates.

I had the most awful experience on this site. The worst is that they allow you to go right through the buying process and then inform you, at checkout, that the item, (which is in your basket) is not available. The customer service team don't actually know what's going on and will tell you anything to get the query off their list. What a terrible reflection of such a premium brand.
