MY PIT ACTUALLY FELL ASLEEP DURING THIS!
I honestly thought my Pit wouldn’t like it, but he actually fell asleep while I was using it on him! It’s so gentle, no crazy sounds, and super effective. After just a few sessions, it removed the buildup on his teeth—and I’m so happy I don’t have to take him to the vet for a cleaning!

Too good to be true…. Yupp.
Not sure why I didn’t do more research prior to my purchase but here we are. Stay far far away from this company and do not purchase this product. It does not work, is louder and bulkier than advertised and their “risk-free” guarantee is complete garbage. They will demand and ask for videos, proof of use and then say it’s a dental product so they can’t return it. They do not care about your satisfaction. Don’t fall for it. Shoutout to the AI customer service rep “Chelsea” that seems to be answering everyone’s emails.

Chiseled off fossilized tartar. Truly works.
I have a very old very sweet mutt (lab, collie, hound mix) with very rotten teeth.
The vet says she needs a cleaning but bc she’s 14.5 yrs old they can’t recommend it due to risk with anesthesia.
I bought your tooth cleaner as a last ditch effort—- it was worth a shot.
Tonight, I broke off FOSSILIZED tartar on her back molars in minutes. No pain, no squirming. Nada.
It is the most gratifying and joyful purchase I’ve ever made on instagram (and I’ve fallen for a LOT of pet health products).
Thank you for extending my sweet angel’s life through better dental hygiene. I’m truly aghast at how well it worked!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

I bought this
I bought this, I’m a real person with a real dog. Not a bot, no@one that has been paid to use or say anything about this, THIS WORKS! My 14 yr old chihuahua had the worse tartar and breath to kill match. He let me do this to his teeth, the secret is short treatment. By the 3-4 time he laid patiently and allowed me to remove YEARS of tartar. The vet was going to charge me $100’s dollar to do his teeth, which I would have gladly paid but being put under was an issue at his age.
Best money I’ve ever spent, he’s happy, I’m happy and it’s my life goal to tell all my dog parents friends to BUY this! So simple and easy to use. Well worth every penny

Fraudulent business
Scam. Dog tooth brushing product not received. Requested a refund. Never received. Followed up with Chelsea from the customer care team. Was assured repeatedly that she would send another reminder to the refunds department and I should keep checking my card for the refund. But no.

Unit malfunctioned quickly, no replacement
Purchased the unit in May which did meet my expectations in the beginning. The unit malfunctioned after 2 months making a loud banging noise each time I would turn it on and my two very small 6lb dogs could not tolerate the noise. Emailed Rare Pet in early August about needed a replacement unit and received a delayed response equivalent to about 2-3 weeks following the initial email. They requested a video showing how the unit was functioning and sent the video. Just received an email stating the unit is now outside the return window for replacement. This company feels like a scam. Buy their $100 unit with extra parts and it lasts a few weeks and they do not stand behind the product.

Misleading 60-Day Guarantee & Poor Customer Experience
I purchased the Canivet 3-in-1 Sonic Tooth Cleaner from RarePet because it was advertised with a “60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee.” Unfortunately, the product did not work for my dog — he would not tolerate it at all. When I asked for a refund, I was shocked to learn that the guarantee required before-and-after photos, multiple videos of my dog using the product, and proof of use 3x per week for 60 days. These requirements were never disclosed at the time of purchase and are completely unrealistic, especially if your pet refuses to use the product.
What went wrong:
Guarantee terms not clearly disclosed before purchase
Customer service provided no reasonable option for a refund
The process felt designed to make refunds nearly impossible
How RarePet could improve:
Be transparent upfront about all guarantee conditions
Honor the spirit of a satisfaction guarantee without demanding staged videos and photos
Offer a fair return/refund option for customers whose pets simply don’t accept the product
Until RarePet improves its policies, I would caution other pet owners to be very careful before purchasing.

Simple design and easy to use
Great communication from the company. The scaler is super quiet and well tolerated. It shifted my dog's tartar easily.
For more nervous dogs it may take some time to get used to it, but go slow and it's worth it!

Absolutely horrible company and totally…
Absolutely horrible company and totally fraudulent. They promise 60 day returns and this is not the case. They didn’t get back to me for weeks and finally told me my package was delivered when it was nowhere to be found.

Impossible to contact customer support - seems to be a scam
Never received item despite it being marked as delivered. Company does not respond to emails, and the delivery service they use does not respond to emails or texts, making it impossible to file a claim. I've had to file a dispute with my credit card company since RarePet.Co refuses to respond.
If this is something you are interested in, I would suggest finding another company that makes a similar product. The company has no information about where they are located on their site, and based on tracking information, the business seems to be located out of a warehouse in China.

Excited for the product but very disappointed
I was very excited to try their teeth cleaning product for my dog. However my product was delivered by a third party GOFO and it was stolen from my front door. I have asked this company countless times if they could offer me a discount on another one, not even asking for it for free since technically it was delivered. I got a response from them that I would have to work it out with the delivery company. What a cop out and a sad excuse for a company if this stature. I have also sent several emails recently asking if they would help make this right since I paid over $100 for the product and all of those emails have gone UNANSWERED!!! Unacceptable DO BIT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

3 in 1 Pet Teeth Cleaning Kit
I wish NO STARS was an option!
We ordered the 3 in 1 Pet Teeth cleaning Kit, but our dogs would not even let us near them to use it, and my dog is elderly so I did not want to cause her any stress. I have been trying for weeks now to return the product, I have emailed them multiple times and I have had NO response!!!! Product is not used and I have no idea how to return it, if they wont answer me?????
And as of now, 08/14/2025, I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM RAREPETS, PERSONALLY!!!! They have the time to reply to my review, but no time to help me make a return!!! SHOCKING!!!!

Do not purchase anything from this…
Do not purchase anything from this company. I bought the toothbrush and toothpaste from them. I received the toothpaste quickly but when I contacted them about the missing toothbrush, they referred me to the tracking number for the toothpaste and said that the item has been delivered. 118 dollars for toothpaste!!! What a con!!! I have emailed them back but so far no response. I am trying to work this out with my payment service now.
They did fully refund my money for which I am very grateful. I still don't understand what happened, so I can't say I would try purchasing from them again.

Con merchants
Con merchants. Refuse to honour the guarantee, refuse to give an address. Only one employee. Not even a British company. An unscrupulous con merchant. Clearly others have had the same issue.

This company is a scam for returns
This company is a scam. While they indicate they have a return policy, it's complete baloney and the steps you have to go through for 60 days are ridiculous. They wanted me to subject my elderly dogs to 60 days of before and after pictures and videos and then pay for return shipping in order for a review to occur on whether I get a refund. This is not right. My dogs could not tolerate the vibration from the start. It's much louder than you expect it to be. Don't waste your time with this conpany.

Garbage product
This is such a garbage product! Won’t remove anything. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT BUY!!
Edit: I did write into CS and they stated I needed to use the product for 60 days, show before and after pictures and have me send a video in showing them how I’m using it. I am a dental hygienist and this does nothing. Save your money bc you’ll get the run around even trying to get a refund or replacement.

Really disappointed! Will take this further
Really disappointed!! I think most of these reviews on here are made up cos my dogs let me near them no problem with all sorts of sounds. There must be something different with the frequency cos one of them flipped and was so frightened it freaked me out. I done what it said and turned it on gradually. I have only used one descaler head but haven’t opened anything else. I spent £97 and bought two sets and two lots of extra heads as bought for my elderly mums dog who is super scared anyway. If mine are scared then hers most certainly will. I know they will say they’ve been opened because of hygiene but they’ve put them all together literally so that’s not my fault.
Emailed but now reply and take days to get one back so not happy. Will take this further.

Scam false advertising
Couldn't get anywhere near my dog with this descaler. The excessive noise terrified him, now he won't let me open his mouth. Asked for a refund and was told its open so can't get a full refund due to hygiene reasons so the 60 money back guarantee is false. I wondered if the excessive vibration was due to it needing to be charged so went to charge it and the charger is broken. Took me a month and a report to my bank for a credit card charge back for them to eventually say they'll refund it. Appaling service no address so can't report them to trading standards. Absolute disgrace and a scam!

Scammers
Scammers! Extremely disappointing experience. The product is advertised as being quiet, but the noise it makes actually terrified my dog — he wouldn’t come anywhere near it. You can't test the product without opening it, yet when I raised this and asked for a return, they refused, claiming it had been "used" — which it absolutely wasn’t, for the exact reason mentioned.
This feels misleading and unfair. I wouldn't recommend this company or product, especially for pet owners. Be cautious before buying — you may end up stuck with something you can’t use and can’t return
