Be warned that this device is NOT quiet at all. It was so loud that my sleeping dogs woke up alarmed the first time I turned it on. They wouldn’t let me get near them with it, after days of trying, which is why I requested a refund.

The desensitization period required to get your dogs used to it, if they ever do at all, is way longer than the return window. This is on purpose so they don’t have to take returns. Plus, how can you even attempt to test it if you don’t take it out of the wrapper??

If you have dogs that are even the slightest bit apprehensive about brushing their teeth, this product is not for you. Don’t waste your money like me. Lesson learned to not buy products from Facebook ads. This is not a company that cares about customer satisfaction.

Really disappointed with this company. The tooth scaler is advertised as silent but it’s definitely not. My dog won’t let me anywhere near her with it, and despite trying everything, it’s just not usable. I’ve asked for a refund, but they’re refusing to accept a return or take any responsibility. Just keep sending me generic emails with tips on how to use it. I’ve tried everything it’s just not for my dog.
Honestly, save your money. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

I bought the toothbrush, it buzzes VERY loudly. My pets will not go near this brush even with training. I emailed within 30 days about a return and keep getting responses about how to train my pets, but no mention of how to return the product. They are avoiding me to tire me out so I just keep the product. I tried using the brush myself and can't stand the buzz. It's louder than the sonicare for people! It's cheaply made. A true ultrasonic brush for pets has a setting were it makes no sound. My pets used one like that and were fine with it. Don't buy this product. I'll change my review if they let me return it.

I purchased their product and realized immediately it was too loud for my dogs, as they wouldn't let me near them with it. I contacted the company's customer service within a couple days to initiate a return. They asked for pictures showing the product had not been used, I obliged right away. After several days, I emailed them again asking what was taking so long as I knew I was getting near the end of the 14-day window to return it. They replied that they had not received my pictures, so I sent them again. Once again, no reply. I contacted them again, and once again they claimed they never received the pictures. They have since essentially told me they will not issue a refund. This should have been a very simple case, but they did everything they could to drag it on and avoid a refund. I just wish I had researched reviews prior to purchasing this product, I would have seen all the negative warnings on this site and steered away.

Update: I have responded to every single one of your emails. You only replied to tell me you were not getting my pictures. Interesting how only my complaints made it to your inbox, but not the emails with the pictures that would have led to a refund...

This company is a scam. Do not give them your money. Was not sent the correct product. Made a claim through Paypal and disputed why I should be refunded. Company stated since it was opened that I could not get a refund. I was told this several times. Ultimately, the company offered a refund as long as I returned the item. Return address was in France, although this item shipped from China. I sent the return to the address provided by the seller through PayPal. Apparently, the address is wrong and as of now, undeliverable. Save yourself the headache, time, and money. Also, I should have paid attention to all the red flags on the website.

i’ve tried brushing before but nothing really removed the hard tartar. this tartar remover tool actually lifted the thick stuff off after a few uses. major difference and my dog didn’t even mind.

I tried this product on my goldendoodle. It didn’t work and the company doesn’t respond to emails when I requested a refund backed by their “money back guarantee” policy

Horrible product. Most dogs would not let you anywhere near them with this loud aggressive metal object.

There are many little things about this website that sounds the alarm as the company seems to deliberately obfuscate facts. I had to email them to get answers and the facts are as follows -

1. If you have a problem or wish to return a product, it has to be sent back to France.
2. There is no 90 Day money back guarantee in the way that consumers understand it, it is purely a 90 day warranty against defects.
3. You cannot use the product or even open it if you wish to use their 14 day returns policy and costs for returns are deducted from the refund.

Certain things are published on their site, i.e. the Shipping Policy page tells you about costs for returns being deducted, although it does not tell you how much.

My biggest concern is having no way of knowing where you are returning a product to when it will cost you to do so and publishing a 90 Day Money Back Guarantee when it is just a product warranty and not even a good warranty.

Despite 3 emails so far I’m not getting answers. There is no true manual just a small leaflet in the box. No instructions on how to use the descaler correctly. If you are not satisfied they will say it takes time. It’s a process. The videos on Facebook were not the product. Nothing will fall off unless it’s very fresh calculus. It’s NOT quiet. The claims are false. My dog can no longer tolerate anesthesia so I had hopes. IMO I fell for a classic marketing trap. Now I see there are many versions available for sale and most don’t cost $49.

I have the same problems as those who have already written on this page. I did do something not mentioned, I called my credit card company and asked to stop payment on this product. A contest will be issued against RarePet. I told the name Tiffany ( yes this name replied to me via email) and any other information I could give including people reviewing/complaints of this company and product. If you can. Please call your credit card office, your bank if you paid by check or other methods and try to stop payment or contest this cost. Good luck all.

Absolutely DECEPTIVE marketing of 100% satisfaction guarantee. They ask you to send a video of you showing the defect or issue. Then when you ask for a refund they state that because the product has even been opened and touched, they can't accept a return. For any of you that had a similar experience, I recommend contacting all consumer protection agencies to have them reported as well as the BBB.

My dog was scared to death of the tooth cleaner. It is so loud, I can't even get near my dog. The advertising all over their site for a 90-day return policy is b.s. None of the packaging can be open.

My experience wasn't all bad. Unlike other shop.com sellers, they actually sent the product and they are responsive via email when explaining why they won't give you a refund.

Rare pet is a complete scam. Tge tooth scaler is very loud and scared my dog.
They will not refund. I reported to my bank and got a refund from my bank.

I ordered the dental cleaner but the package was sent to the wrong address (I confirmed the correct address was included in my order). The package was returned to to the company and they confirmed receipt. They wanted me to pay more money via Paypal's Friends and Family (there is no refund if you do this) to mail the package. Now they refuse to resend the package or refund my money unless I drop my complaint via Paypal.

Their teeth cleaning product is unusable - and does not work as advertised at all. There’s no way a dog will tolerate it. I requested a refund under their 90 day satisfaction guarantee clause and they rejected it saying any opened box is not subject to return. I am not sure how else one would discover they are not satisfied without at least trying to use the product. Complete scam. I am reporting them to my cc company as well

They immediately took payment and I have recieved nothing. No confirmation of order. Company has no records of my order when I went to their website to track my order. Very disappointed.

One person named Tiffany !! Is the only name in the whole company who ever he is she eventually replies to an email 4 days later !! No return info nothing !!! Just impossible to return or get a refund biggest robbers / scammers . STAY Away 😨 Don’t be fooled by the fake reviews they are not real !
