Amazon is trash

The amount of problems I have had with this company. The shipping department is a joke. They lie about delivery times. And you'd think pre ordering would guarentee you the product right??? NOPE!!! I mean the company is owned by a monster human being. But as a whole Amazon went from being a handy book resale platform to a giant blood sucking corporation that doesn't give two craps about you. Oh and same day delivery?! BWAHAHAHAHA You are lucky sometimes if you even get the package you ordered.

BNI delivery

I've asked and been told several times Amazon wouldn't send me anything using BNI to deliver. I ordered 4 things and they shipped by BNI, this AM it said out for delivery, at noon it said delivered, tonight it says delivery delayed. If Amazon can't listen to this customer then you don't need my business.

They have the MOST INCREDIBLE return…

They have the MOST INCREDIBLE return policies. Also I remembered one time someone stole my package in my mail room, and amazon ordered a new package for me to be delivered.

They have one of the best customer service for a global conglomerate. Absolutely wonderful staff in store and online. Whenever I experience tech issues, i just call them on the phone and always able to get to a staff right away. I am simply amazed how well run their customer service center is for such a large global company.

Amazon does not care about customers' opinions

Before the covid pandemic the driver use to ring the bell and give you the package in your hand now Amazon does not need to give any respect to the customers anymore perhaps because Amazon is too big and customers have no meaning at all, even I include the request just to ring the doorbell, the request have no meaning.

Poor delivery service to rural area.

We never get one day delivery, as advertised and we frequently get emails indicating that our item could not be delivered due to a possible error in our delivery address. It's extremely frustrating and we will likely stop ordering from Amazon as we do not need the frustration of poor delivery service. We expect it's because we live in a rural area. Amazon should just use Canada Post for all rural deliveries.

What is Amazon trying to hide?

What is Amazon trying to hide?
I did 6 reviews for them. Gave out 5 stars for 5 products I used and 1 star for a BOOK that was MISSING the first 46 pages! People should know the TRUTH.
This is what Amazon said:

"We couldn't post your review because it doesn't meet our Community guidelines.

Please edit and resubmit your review. Before you do, make sure it meets all of our guidelines.

Your review
Angels & Demons - Movie Tie-In

FIRST 46 PAGES ARE MISSING!
It starts on page 47! Where are the 1st 46 pages???
Edit review"

So, what does this mean?
1. Cant post the Truth?
2. Cant post 1star?
3. What if I gave it a 5star and the Truth? Would that work?

TO BE Cont'd...

I’ve been an Amazon Prime member for 5…

I’ve been an Amazon Prime member for 5 years, and for the most part, deliveries have been on time and followed my instructions perfectly. When there was ever a delay, a lost package, or an issue with a return, it was usually resolved fairly quickly and in my favor.
That said, my experiences with Customer Service have been… frustrating. On several occasions, the agents seemed to struggle with understanding simple language, whether due to language barriers or training issues. Even more confusing, they often promise to leave a note on my account, yet each time I call, the next agent acts like there’s nothing on file—repeatedly.
Please invest in better training for your staff. Maybe even a comprehension test before hiring—just a thought.

Amazon.ca and Dragonfly courier or carrier

I have been trying to return shoe glue to Amazon.ca s
which I don’t think I can use since August 11st. I have scheduled return pick up several times with Dragonfly carrier which does pickup for Amazon.ca. It was previously called Intelcom. I had to print pickup labels three times and reschedule pickup many times. No driver has come so far to pick up the item from me. Or they say they could not get access to my building. I am a disabled senior. All the other deliveries are working fine. Grocery and prescription delivery people buzz my number and I hear the ring very loud and other carriers like FedEx and UPS also have no problems. Uniuni carrier drivers never ring and leave parcels in the lobby. So there are few carriers drivers who do not follow rules or instructions. Since the Dragonfly carrier drivers and the warehouse are giving me so much trouble I am trying to get refund from Amazon.ca agents. They are refusing to issue me the refund and want to create new return labels every time. A few years ago they were not like that. The agents talk very fast. Sound is not clear. Last time I called the agent hung up on me because I asked him to talk slowly and clearly. In last 3-4 years I have been having bad experience with Amazon.ca agents. Dragonfly warehouse also very often do not send any emails confirming that a driver is coming to deliver or pickup a package or parcel. They are not taking any action against drivers who do not follow rules or instructions. There something very wrong with both these companies. Finally I had to use another carrier Purolator to return this item.

Blocked Amazon account has been removing money for months

Subject: Urgent Complaint – Fraudulent Charges, Delivery Negligence, and Financial Harm

Dear Amazon Customer Relations,

I am writing in desperation after more than a year of unresolved issues stemming from a hacked account. Despite assurances that the account was closed, unauthorized charges have continued—most recently $11.01—causing me to miss a bankruptcy payment and incur $74 in NSF fees. I live with disabilities, including agoraphobia, and survive on less than $1,600/month. These withdrawals are not inconvenient—they are devastating.

Your agents claim it was my responsibility to close the account, even though it was blocked due to fraud and I was locked out. If I cannot access the account, I cannot delete it. Amazon had control and visibility over the compromised account and its ongoing activity. Therefore, you had both the legal and ethical obligation to close it on my behalf. Continuing to charge me while denying access is not just negligent—it may violate Canadian law.

After months of being locked out and repeatedly denied access, I was suddenly able to log in using the exact same password—immediately after speaking with one of your supervisors. This raises serious concerns about the integrity of your account security protocols and the accuracy of the information I was given throughout this ordeal.

⚖️ Legal Concerns

PIPEDA: Failure to secure and act on compromised personal data may constitute negligence.

Consumer Protection Act (CPA): Charging for services on a blocked, hacked account may be considered an unfair practice.

Competition Act: Assuring me the account was closed while continuing charges may be a misleading representation.

Canada Labour Code: Delivery drivers using children to assist with heavy packages may constitute child labor, with serious legal implications.

📦 Delivery Failures

A driver refused to deliver life-saving medication to a wheelchair-bound person, opting to leave a sticker instead.

I was handed someone else’s package, which was photographed as “delivered.”

Children as young as five have been seen helping drivers with heavy parcels.

📊 Supporting Statistics

Over 1.7 million Amazon packages are lost or stolen daily in the U.S.

Amazon accounts for 52% of all stolen packages nationwide.

Customer satisfaction has dropped from 88% to 79% over the past decade.

📝 My Requests

Full refund of all unauthorized charges over the past year

Reimbursement of the $74 NSF fee

Formal apology acknowledging the severity of this situation

Confirmation that the account is permanently closed

Investigation into delivery practices and fraud response protocols

I am exhausted, terrified, and heartbroken. I trusted Amazon. That trust has been shattered. Please do not respond with another generic apology. I need action. I need compassion. I need help.

To Amazon executives and managers: when you're sleeping in your cozy beds, eating warm, healthy meals, I hope you think of people like me—suffering from your AI algorithms and your lackluster support workers. I'm glad my distress helps make your life better. Even when it's little tiny illegal practices, remember that's also helping feed you and your families.

Sincerely, Cindy Gimnes

Worst customer service

Worst customer service. Used to be good but now they can't be organized for the life of them. Had to call them 5 times over 1 order and they couldn't get it right all 5 times, but miraculously messed it up 5 different ways, including double charging me. I've been on Amazon for years but now I am no longer ordering through them anymore and canceling my prime.

Amazon is perfect for me always

I have had nothing but excellent service from customer service from sellers. Everything on their product wise. I have only had a couple of items out of umpteen hundreds that I have bought that didn't meet my expectation.
I've had a couple that were damaged when they got here and Amazon did a refund for me. Of course you're always going to get sellers that are not the greatest to deal with, but Amazon has always covered me. I appreciate your customer service and the items that you are selling. Thank you. I will continue to deal with you online as much as I can.
Take care. Okay thanks again
