After having an issue with my camvac and contacting record power, they advised how I could strip the motor out and give it a clean to see if that resolved the issue, but no luck, so they sent me a replacement motor out without any problem at all, cannot recommend these guys enough. Thanks

I don't normally write reviews but in this case I must say that the customer service is excellent. There has been two occasions where I have had to contact them and Richard was quick to reply and sort the problem. Many thanks, highly recommend.

The pcb on my Record Power AC400 had a fault, they changed the board and also replaced the remote control so that the were compatible. The technician was extremely helpful and went beyond what
I considered necessary - overall a very pleasant experience, a company that goes the extra mile for their customers.

I bought a Record woodturning parting tool from Yandles. The tool was faulty. The cutting tip was narrower (by 0.5mm) than the body of the tool. This caused the cut to deviate from straight, and as the tool jammed in the cut, caused overheating/burning.
Record were no help - "I am not sure there is an issue".
they also wrote "whenever you using a parting tool you will need to do relief cut either side of the tool to stop it binding or getting hot."
This is not the case with other parting tools I have, eg Henry Taylor. Always a straight cut and no burning.
A poor manufacture, and poor response.

Incredible tool quality and excellent training content available online. I recently bought the Sabre 250 Bandsaw and its exceptional. The online videos by Record power are brilliant. Excellent product quality!

Very good customer service. My machine broke down due faulty PCB and they sent me a new PCB free of charge. Excellent

I had a part on my bandsaw break on me. I went to the website to find a replacement part and realised I hadn't registered my machine for warranty. Registered it right there. I couldn't find the part so I sent a message asking about the part and whether it was covered by warranty. I get a reply - part is on the way. I didn't even need to give them my address. A little while later, the part arrives, I install it and I'm 100% back up and running.

I had a faulty circuit board on an air filtration unit. It was just outside of the 5 year warranty but after contacting the team at Record Power they sent me out a new unit complete with replacement remote and faceplate. Excellent service and good communications. I have a number of their machines which have never let me down. Excellent.

Fantastic service. My AC400 air purifier was defective so Record Power sent me a replacement PCB to fit. That worked, but I was left with the control panel cover not sticking back properly. I was thinking about gluing back myself and to my surprise today a replacement cover arrived in the post. I didnt even have to ask for it. 5* service Record Power - thank you!

My main issue is the lack or unavailabilty of spare parts. After roughly 6 months of ownership of my DP58P Bench Drill the quill spring broke. The manual does not tell you what size spring you need so i contacted Record Power customer support who informed me that they had no quill springs and that they would not be in stock for several months! I asked what size the quill spring was so that i could find my own but they were unable or unwilling to tell me. I find it rediculous that i cannot source basic parts or get suitable help even from record Power themselves.
They also informed me that when they are in stock they are £21.23 plus carriage £5.83. This is a crazy price (for an example a large letter 2nd class post only costs £1.65) and i would not pay that anyway since they are around £7 on ebay with free shipping. I just need to work out what size i need.......with no help from Record Power.

Fantastic folk on the end of the phone, very knowledgable real-world experience of their products. And happy to spend a long time advising how to fix up my old broken Record product. Couldn't ask for more from a manufacturing company, thank you.

Can not fault Record Power for great sales & after-sale keep up the great service

I recently purchased a set of legs for my new lathe and when they arrived they had some damage to the paint in certain areas, I decided to feed back to the dealer who seemed very uninterested so decided to feed back to Record Power and the response was brilliant offered to replace them straight away but as the legs are fully functional I didn't want replacements but they did send me a fantastic bowl gouge as a good will gesture!

I had to use there technical help today and they could not have been friendlier or more helpful.

I would like to thank all three of the guys I spoke to and tell them they are doing a good job.

This UK company make excellent machines and superb consumables for these machines.... However their website is highly misleading and difficult to use. Telephone helpline, although good, takes an IT maestro to get through.. don't select menu choice, mash keypad with loads of different numbers.

needed a spare part for a planer, phoned them up and they could not have been more helpful. Absolutely brilliant staff and now got my pulley wheel for the drive motor. Great value, great service, great products.

Three Cheers for Record Power! About a week ago I went onto the website to order a set of standard jaws for my RP2000 chuck. Clicked through and paid. Next day I had an email to say the order was cancelled. I tried again and sure enough next day an email proclaimed the order cancelled. Turns out that the chucks are obsolete and parts cannot be obtained from RP. I was wanted to know why they were advertised as available on the website and that no reason was given for the cancellation. I suggested this was below their customarily high standard of customer service. They agreed and actually sourced a set and have sent them to me free of charge. So Record Power are now top of my Customer Service list and will become my supplier of choice. Thank you Record Power.

I bought a BS300 bandsaw 2 months ago and I am extremely pleased with it. It is extremely robust and well designed, and the manufacturing is of very high quality. I don’t know how they make it at such a low price. Also parts are easy to disassemble and reassemble with the Allen keys provided. Phenomenal!

Record Power have a fantastic customer service ethic that also goes with their wonderful range of woodworking equipment. 5 year warranty, that to be fair rarely gets used, is always nice to have to give you peace of mind.

Ordered several items on 21 Jan, confo email stated 3-7 days delivery. Chased on 1 Feb, was told nothing in stock, could be 2 more weeks. Asked for a more specific date and was called today to say mid March, hopefully !! 11 items on the order not one of them in stock and yet nothing on the website to flag this.
