I recently bought at The Residence
I recently bought at The Residence - it is stunning and everyone and Regency was incredibly helpful whenever I had questions
Excellent
Excellent
Super fast response times from the sales team. Dealt with me banging on for ages and answering my million and one questions. Super excited to get the keys to my new flat in Bristol!!
Sales team telling me I'll be…
Sales team telling me I'll be completing in Boulevard View either Mon/Tue this week (it's Monday).
Called my Solicitor and when I said that to them they laughed. Haven't requested funds or provided warranty cover note. Still a week away at least!
Called them out on this but always refusing to take blame and shifting it onto other parties.
I was supposed to be in on 17th May!! Just constant lies and misinformation.
Worst experience of my life.
ABSOLUETE DISGRACEFUL Company.
ABSOLUETE DISGRACEFUL Company.
The Estate Agents,Solicitors and MCR are all in on it and are very dishonest.
I have a reserved property at Boulevard View and visited it 6/7 weeks ago to see that its no way near completion.Visited it 1st weekend of August and it looks the same.
Was told by Solicitor that the property is near completion at the end of march, moved out of my rented accomodation at the end of May as was told it will be ready 1st week June and now here we are the 1st week August and it still isn't ready!
Also builders have been using my apartment as a personal dumping ground for their PPE and have been using my toilet.
I wish I read the reviews now before committing to purchasing the apartment.
Attempting to buy an apartment in…
Attempting to buy an apartment in Boulevard View in Bristol has been the most painful experience ever. 6 months and yet to be any firm completion date having been promised dates at least 10 times. We are looking to pull out because the final straw is not being able to gain access to the apartment to check on the validity of information being given.
DO NOT BUY PROPERTY FROM THESE PEOPLE
If I could have selected no stars I would have done. Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances purchase a property from this company or any of its agents trying to sell their properties on their behalf.
Incompetent is a huge understatement.
The property I had purchased was due to complete in October 2020. By the beginning of 2021 I was assured I would be moved in by the 28th February, In the middle of May 2021 they advised me they would not be able to complete by the 31st May (their legal contractual long stop date) which was also the help to buy deadline for the old scheme. As I am not a first time buyer and not eligible for the new HTB scheme this then meant I was left with no home and no opportunity to buy another property as the HTB deadline was at the end.
I have been waiting since the 14th May for my funds to be returned and have chased every single day, I am yet to see my outstanding money that is rightfully mine due to them being in breach of contract.
In the time I have dealt with them, The project manager / business development manager has changed several times.
I really wish I had checked the reviews before I bought, They have also changed their name in the time I have been dealing with them from Regency Residential to MCR Homes
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND BUY FROM A REPUTABLE PROPERTY DEVELOPER.
Do not rent from these people
Becky, Harry and Kirsty are by far the worst people I’ve ever dealt with! Their communication is poor and mostly ignorant to what you’ve asked! They just want your money and don’t care about living standards. I will be going to the paper and the environmental health!!
BECKY ELLIS IS THE WORST PROPERTY…
BECKY ELLIS IS THE WORST PROPERTY MANAGER I’VE EVER KNOWN the rest of the reviews speak for itself
I live in a building managed by regency…
I live in a building managed by regency residential in Norwich. It states that it is a non-smoking building. People smoke in their flats and as a result it goes into my flat and am suffering highly from it. I call regency several times and they do not pick up the phone. I left a message and emailed and they never got back to me. This is ridiculous!!
Regency Residential have now changed to MRC Homes
Regency Residential have been very problematic with us,
They have recently changed their banding and are now under MCR HOMES
If you search for Regency Residential it will lead to the below website now,
mcr-homes
Terrible developer
If I can, I will not even give them any star. The apartment is in terrible condition even it is new and you never receive any feedback from management office after moved in. Try your best to avoid to buy any apartment with them unless you don’t care of money
Disgraceful company who have treated us…
Disgraceful company who have treated us awfully from the minute we moved into an apartment owned by them. We are tenants and have been waiting over 3 months for a wardrobe promised to us 4 months ago. ignored dozens of emails and calls. Complaints system is a shambles with the issue still not resolved. Two of the seats for the kitchen table are poor quality and worn and do not stand upright anymore making life very uncomfortable. Still yet to meet a single person who works for Regency.
A developer who cant develop
A developer who cant develop, avoid this company and any other company that belongs to mcr property group. Reserved a flat with them to find when the building was complete banks would not lend on them. All talk no substance no class.
Avoid regency residential and MCR property group at all costs
I would absolutely avoid reserving or attempting to buy a property from this developer at all costs. I say attempting to buy as we had reserved a flat at the embankment west development in Edinburgh at the start of February 2019 and as of today 26th June 2020 banks still dont seem to be lending on this property and so getting a mortgage here is near on impossible. We were told that the flat would be completed end of Q1 2019 and this deadline kept getting pushed back until around November 2019 when they were more or less finished. At that point not many mortgages were being approved and it was found out the banks required more certification to be satisfied with the building before approving mortgages. The new certification still did not satisfy the banks and we kept getting told by the client care team that they had been waiting for Lloyds banking group to make a decision to lend which would then give confidence to the other banks to then go on to lend on the building. As of the beginning of march 2020 Lloyds were still saying that they would not lend and so we had to pull out of our reservation. We were strung along with very little useful information from the start, with deadlines not being met and a lack of honesty from the client care as to what was going on. We did get our reservation fee back so I'll let that account for the 1 star it gets here. Please be aware that Regency had been telling us all along that lenders are lending such as Barclays but our mortgage advisor knew this to be untrue and the handful of mortgages that did go through had went through accidentally before those banks realised what building was being approved and once realised they put a stop to mortgages there hence why so many of us had problems getting approved. Also just to note Regency is a sale arm for MCR property group so it would be wise to avoid any affiliated company as you will be dealing with the same shoddy business tactics under a different name.
Do not trust - still waiting for money owed
Like many people on here and Facebook, I am still waiting for monies owned even though I was promised it weeks ago.
This company do not return emails, phone calls and are truly dishonest. I have email chains that I’m willing to share with anyone who is considering using this company before they make a mistake. Please don’t be fooled.
They Do Not Care
Based in Manchester & pretending to manage a 80 flat refurbished building in Norwich with no local representation. Their policy is not to reply to requests or attend to problems always giving excuses. The 6 storey building has not had windows cleaned in 3 years. The Fire Assessment Report has not been acted on. The refuse area is disgusting. Quite simply they do not manage this building and show a complete disrespect to all flat owners.
They break their leasehold service agreement all the time.
Forget their glossy website. They are a shocking company. Beware if they are managing your building.
I was interested in a flat at Regency…
I was interested in a flat at Regency Residential’s Embankment West Development in Edinburgh. Anthony from Regency Residential arranged a viewing and on the morning of the viewing he called to say there was another viewing a couple hours after me. He insisted I needed to get the reservation fee of £1000 over quickly to secure the flat. I asked the women who showed me around if there was another viewing shortly after mine, she said there were none scheduled. I shrugged this off as a pushy sales technique and sent the reservation fee. However I was unable to get a mortgage on the property as mortgage lenders would not lend on this development. Anthony told me I would get a refund within 4 to 5 days. I called a couple of weeks later to be told it takes four to five weeks. The deadline passed and I heard nothing. Regency Residential failed to respond to my emails until I posted a negative review which has now been removed. I am unsure why the Google moderator removed this review as it did not break the Google review policy and I tried to upload an email chain that catalogues my recent dealings with Regency Residential. Eventually Regency Residential replied and said they would refund the reservation fee. “Dear Mr. Baird, The team is presently at a reduced capacity and working remotely and subsequently causing a delay in response in the last few weeks. This is not an excuse and we do apologise for the tardy response. In relation to your refund, we have confirmed that your refund is being processed and is completed at month end, we have a team member in the office tomorrow morning and will investigate to the stage.”
After using delay tactics they eventually told me the cheque had been drawn and the director would sign it on Friday and present it to the bank. I got no update on Friday or this week after following up. Hoping this review will spark a reply and maybe I will get my money back.
