Never again.
Absolutely dreadful service. Put in for a tv repair, was forced to wait 4 weeks for replacement part. Then despite confirming with their office that I wouldn't be at home until after 10am, proceeded to arrive at 8:45am, then told me I had to arrange another time the following week. Then the woman I spoke to in their office wondered why I sounded angry and threatened to refer me back to amazon where I got the tv from after I complained.

Engineer apparently turned up yesterday and took a picture outside our property to say he was there. We waited in all day, and absolutely no one attempted to enter the property.
Now they're saying another week. The worst customer service ever. As soon as the repair is completed, we'll be cancelling our insurance and going with a company more reliable.
Very bad service provided

Terrible Experience With The RRC
I am leaving a very lengthy complaint in regards to how a repair for my Hisense 65" has caused a significant amount of stress due to a series of lies and miscommunication from their end. This company specifically the call centre should be reviewed and I am disappointed that Hisense have formed an alliance with this firm for the following reasons. On the 13th August 2025 I had a repair booked which previous to that ran relatively smooth update and communication wise. Before their arrival I had contacted Hisense to initiate my warranty and had sent them all of the faults in vigorous detail via the phone and sent in all required evidence via email. This all were sent to this company who only operate on WEDNESDAYS in my area which is not necessarily helping the situation for myself or anybody who may not be available on a WEDNESDAY. The repair men arrived and started doing their checks, I showed them the issues on the TV which they took pictures of, I brought up my email to Hisense which they documented and took pictures of, they proceeded to go onto a "YOUTUBE" search for a 4K screen test and saw the anomalies at the top of the screen, on the top corners and opened up the back panel to check to see if damage were caused intentionally to end their checks and tick the boxes. Once complete they said that they may need to take the TV in but gave me an alternative option which would make sense for both parties involved.
The solution involved the TV staying in the home and was as follows;
He said.
"We can leave the TV in the home bring in what we have evidence wise and they would review depending on the decision in the workshop with one of two outcomes.
1. TV would need repairing but they would have identified the issue with evidence collected and presented on the day which would allow them to order in spare parts to save time, this would ensure them to come and collect it once the parts had arrived, fix the TV and we'd have it back next day instead of them taking it ordering the parts, having to wait for the parts, fix it and then return.
2. Evidence presented show faults they are unable to fix and or parts are unavailable which would allow us to get a new TV we were told if that is the outcome the new TV would be with us the following Friday or Monday for e.g
I were supposed to hear from them with one of these outcomes by 15th Aug 2025.
I received a VM on the 15th saying they needed the TV in for further inspection which did not correspond with what I were told during the conclusion of the repair visit in the slightest.
I called them to enquire and had an extremely impatient person who came across rude and instead of empathising told us we are going around in circles. Her voice was aggressive hearing me and my wifes disappointment challenging their request, within that conversation she also told me that Hisense had changed their instructions and protocol recently apparently this company received these mandatory instructions on the 15th August which is after our initial report so it shouldn't apply to us as we approaced Hisense under Warranty on 5th Aug 2025 with the repair attempt on the 13th August 2025, I were told to call Hisense directly and take it up with them which I did explained all of the above and Mia who works at Hisense told me that the protocol has ALWAYS remained the same for Hisense Tvs depending on the size. Smaller TVs are collected without fail and any Hisense TV 60" or above should be attempted to fix onsite if they are unable due to the nature of the issue they will bring it into the workshop as screens are delicate so they would have to do the work from there instead for e.g
Once a fault is identified it is either fixed or if this is not possible authorisation for a new TV will be permitted. THERE WAS NO NEW INSTRUCTIONS ON THE 15TH its a total lie. The young men obviously made a mistake trying to make our lives easier and this company is trying to cover it by passing the blame onto Hisense.
To make matters worse besides all of the back fourth communications and telling them this after chasing up again to justify their misinformation, the lie told about the new Hisense protocol and the importance of having it done ASAP due to my residency situation. All they could come up with is that there are no more bookings until Wed 3rd Sept a day after I may have to leave, no exceptions just them holding onto the fact they left me a VM wasting my time telling me they need my TV AGAIN. They also do not cover the area I may be moving to which will result in the whole process more or less starting from the beginning. Seriously I can't believe I have to go through all of this as a customer I am going to assume whoever I'm dealing with knows their field and advises accordingly, If I could give this company -10 I would. I expect a solution before Sept 3rd otherwise my word stands. If you have a choice DO NOT CHOOSE THESE GUYS
Appauling
After weeks of frustrating attempts to get my 1-month-old tumble dryer repaired, I finally managed to book a repair appointment with Regional Repair Company through Currys for today. I received a text confirming the appointment, so I took a day off work to stay home with my sick child, expecting the repair to go ahead as scheduled.
However, I then received a missed call from Regional Repair Company, who asked me to reschedule. When I explained that the appointment was already confirmed for today, they placed the blame on Currys. I then called Currys, only to have them blame Regional Repair Company in return.
After hours of phone calls, tears, and begging for a resolution, I was informed that they wouldn't be able to send someone out for another week.
I am absolutely appalled by the lack of care, organisation, and communication from both Regional Repair Company and Currys. This level of service is unacceptable, and it’s incredibly frustrating to be left without a functioning dryer for so long, especially when I’ve taken time off and made multiple efforts to resolve the issue.
Appalling
Absolutely shocking company - AVOID
Absolutely shocking company - make you wait in all day - really unaccommodating. Didnt fix the fridge freezer after 3 attempts. I had to be present for each visit due to 'health and safety' then on 2 occassions they didnt bother turning up. AVOID AVOID AVOID
First class service from RRC
After contacting Domestic and General, a policy purchased through Scottish Power, an appointment was made for an engineer from The Regional Repair Centre to repair my fridge/freezer. The engineer, Paul Evans, was polite, knowledgeable, professional and fixed the problem with the fridge freezer. He explained the problem so I understand exactly how it had occurred but certainly not something I could fix. I was very impressed with the service provided and the speed of service. Highly recommended.
Total JOKERS
Total JOKERS. So if you want your cooker hood repaired under warranty, apparently you have to remove it off the wall yourself, they come and fix it and then you put it back up yourself. Unbelievable and so do Rangemaster think so (who supplied the hood originally). Its like asking the AA to attend a puncture on the roadside and them asking you to remove the wheel, they'll turn up fit the tyre and you fit the wheel back on yourself. Rangemaster were brilliant when I complained and are arraning a proffesional company to do the job. Oh and by the way, the engineer who turned up originally walked straight into the house without wiping his feet and walked all over our hall carpet to the kitchen. When I complained apparently they can't remove boots due to health and safety and company doesn't supply overshoes. Be warned!!!!!
Faultless service
Faultless service, domestic and general booked RRC to repair my washing machine received a text to confirm parts were ordered, and then the engineer called the morning he was due to come to give me a 2 hour time slot, he came within this time and fixed it, he was friendly and approachable, would highly recommend them

Great Service
I called Regional Repair Centre reference a washing machine repair was told £60 call out and labour plus parts , which i thought was very reasonable, call centre was very professional and booked me for a date within 48hrs , engineer contacted myself first thing in the morning to give me a 2hr time slot, great news as I didn't want to be hanging round all day, engineer turned up within allocated time slot and quickly got to work and diagnosed and fixed the fault, which was carbon brushes something to do with the motor. My washing machine is now working fantastic have and would recommend to all my friends if ever they ask,, Great job guys ..

Engineers??? having a laugh ain't ya?
I had the unfortunate fortune of having to deal with these ‘expert audio-visual engineers’ recently. It all started when I purchased a TV from an established UK retailer, that eventually developed a fault. During the first visit from RRC ‘engineers’, I was able to demonstrate the issue that I was experiencing clearly, to which the ‘engineers’ also accepted that they could see. However, the manufacturer of the TV was not satisfied with the evidence that was collated on the first visit and promptly requested, RRC, to undertake a second visit to collect the TV and ‘bring it in for further investigation’.
It was during this second visit when things started to take a turn for the worse. Firstly, the ‘engineers’, who were different to those that came during the first visit, seemed absolutely clueless about what they were talking about. I’m not sure about what the process/procedure is in relation to the recruitment of ‘engineers’ for RRC, but they would do well in including having Maths and English GCSE at grade 4 or above, as the minimum for an ‘engineer’.
The rude and inappropriate conduct of these two ‘engineers’ left me completely frustrated. They bluntly refused to accept that they could see any issues with the TV, even though I was clearly pointing it out with my finger. The same issue that the first set of engineers agreed was clearly visible, was now not apparent to these two. Their ill-mannered and discourteous demeanour gave me reason to believe that this company would not have the merit or competence to be able to carry out its duty effectively or efficiently. Unsurprisingly, after a week the TV was returned to me with ‘no faults found what so ever’, after ‘arduously screening for faults’.
Long story short, the retailer from whom I originally purchased the TV from, kindly sent out another engineer for a second opinion. This engineer confirmed the fault and was flabbergasted that another set of apparent ‘engineers’ could not confirm the same fault. The TV is now due to be replaced by a new one. Happy days! No thanks to RRC! Stay away from these cowboys!
And if you want any further evidence regarding this company’s inability to solve problems and deal with people in a courteous manner, have a quick look at their response to some of the other reviews on here.

Staff members are EXTREMELY rude, don't bother wasting your time.
Staff members are EXTREMELY rude. Spoke to me like I was worthless, I thought when a manager was put on the line it would have been better but unfortunately they were even worse. Working on behalf of LG for a TV within warranty so I didn't chose them. Provided mis information on when my television would be delivered, did not send confirmation email which I had to chase for and the phone lines are terrible cutting me off every 5 minutes on hold. If its your choice to go with these guys, DONT.

Avoid like the plague!
Avoid like the plague!
I used RRC for my broken dishwasher. I paid a £30 non-refundable deposit for inspection. The engineer arrived, said a part needed replacing and that he would be back in the next couple of days. Great, I thought.
A couple of days later I didn't hear back from RRC so I gave them a call to see how they were progressing. The woman on the phone said to me 'It's only been 2 days, surely you're not so lazy to do the washing up yourself for a change'. I couldn't believe it! When I asked what made her say that, she said the engineer had mentioned I was the 'fat, lazy type'. What on earth?
Obviously I cancelled the repair then and there. RRC kept the £30 which was fine, but then they tried to charge me for the part they had ordered that they said I had refused, even though I didn't know they had even bought the part! The bill was £340 for the part, £90 for engineer's time, £60 for cancelled booking, plus £75 'admin fee'. All with VAT charged on top was £678, about twice as much as a new dishwasher!
Clearly RRC were just trying it on because they stopped bothering me after I told them how ridiculous the charge was.
I would advise anyone considering using RRC to avoid at all costs. They are exactly the contractor you dread turning up at your home.

Outstanding Service
I had a fault develop on my Sony tv which is still under the Sony 12 month warranty. Sadly, a fault developed and I contacted the Regional Repair Centre for a repair to be made.
From start to finish, I found the staff very helpful and polite.
A date was set for the repair to be made in my home and I was sent confirmation details very quickly.
On the day that the repair was due to be carried out I was contacted by their engineer and given details of his ETA.
Following on from this, I received another call from the engineer to say that he would arrive at my home within half an hour.
True to his word he arrived promptly and was very polite and courteous. He carried out the work very quickly and very well. My tv was soon up and working again in a very short time.
My full respect and gratitude goes out to everyone at the Regional Repair Centre team for such outstanding and professional service. Thank you.
