I am out of Regus after 20 years! I am done with June 2027

I am out of Regus after 20 years!

Normally I have always a month month contract!
Normally Regus send you an email saying what your price increase for the month month agreement.

This did not happen, they just sent an auto email on the last day of the contract saying it had gone up to £575.00 month plus VAT to £ 719.00 from some £525.00inc VAT.

That is no value for small desk! in co working room untouched for 6 years!

The manager then suggested a 12 month contract as discount if you sign for 12 months as special discount!
But this really was the tactic to get people long term.

Like a fool under panic agreed, as this special offer would not last !!
I should of just given 30 days notice.

Hi Naz,
I understand and appreciate that you’re disappointed and would like to help.
We recognise that your main concern is about office restoration fee and activation fee charged to you.
Upon reviewing your account, we immediately credited these charges that were mistakenly billed due to the duplicate account. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.
A member of our team has already contacted you on this, please continue to speak with them for further support.
Thank you.

Deposit not returned - breach of agreement!

As per the terms of my agreement with Regus, my deposit was due to be returned within 30 days after the termination of my contract, by 30 January 2025, this repayment has not happened.
I emailed both the Accounts department and the building manager with a polite reminder that my deposit was overdue on January 31st but to my surprise my emails bounced, (although during my tenancy they worked without issue) -it seems my email has now been blocked.
So, I logged into the Regus online portal and to my dismay, although I could access my account, all my account information, including contract records and invoices had been removed and delated.
After much searching, I submitted a complaint via a chat bot, to which I received an automated email with a case number and a note saying that I will be hearing from Regus soon. A deliberately difficult process to raise a case.
I urge anyone who is considering renting from Regus to really consider any other option but them. They are difficult to work with and aggressive, their contracts are not traditional rental agreements and skirt the renting laws to put you in a very difficult position as a tenant. They will also overcharge you at any opportunity, and they have an appealingly bad customer service, if ever you have an issue that needs to be addressed, they are deliberately unresponsive, slow and difficult.
Regus billed me a hefty exit fee a month before my contract ended and after paying it, I was reassured by the building manager (Kensington High Street Offices) by email that no further charges would be applicable. there is no justification for holding on to my deposit; it is illegal and in full breach of our agreement. If the option was available I would select 0 stars!

Appalling costumer service

Appalling costumer service, very difficult to work with Regus! I am currently renting an office from Regus in Kensington London. I purchase a Regus coffee card for £29 plus VAT a month for unlimited coffee, however, suddenly the monthly bill had changed to £55.97 without prior warning or notice. The invoice showed that I had been charged per coffee unit “purchased” rather than the flat rate of unlimited coffees I was supposed to be billed for and to which I had agreed. To add more insult to this: the coffee machine is often malfunctioning, it takes payment but does not deliver the coffee, so you need to swipe the coffee card multiple times in order to get one coffee and therefore charged multiple times for one coffee. To understand why I was suddenly charged double, I opened a service request with Regus 3 weeks ago and I am still waiting for an answer. They have been unable to deal with this very straight forward enquiry and the case remains open. This in one of many incidents where Regus has been unhelpful and difficult. I am so sick and tired of the way Regus operates, I am not renewing my contract and have found an alternative office.

Hi Daniela, I’m sorry you felt the need to escalate this.
Your subscription to our unlimited tea & coffee service ended on 30 June and you will see from your recent invoices that you have not been charged for it.
Whilst you have been charged for individual beverages during this period you will see that based on your consumption it has not cost more than the price of the unlimited service; if you would like to add the service again you can do so via the ‘Additional services’ area of your online account or through your centre team.
Your comments have been passed to the centre manager and whilst there have been no other reports of similar situations regarding the coffee machine we will certainly monitor it.
Your centre team remain your point of contact, and a member of my team has contacted you directly to provide further clarification.
Kind regards,
Michelle Spire
