My item came well packed. Presentation lovely. The lip balm is the best I have ever tried, the face cream still waiting to see results need more time to see if it works with my skin but quality is amazing. lt puts my mind at ease to know there are no nasties in the products.

For decades, I have relied on lab-synthesised ingredients for my skincare, and they certainly have their place. However, for my specific needs - combination, eczema-prone skin with dry, red, sensitive areas - I've found that nature provides gentler and more effective solutions. The Winter Weather Solution

I struggle more with tight, dry, and itchy skin during the winter months, which is often exacerbated by cold air and central heating. Remnant Beauty's lovely balms offer enhanced protection, creating a crucial barrier that shields the skin from these harsh environmental factors.

Silk Cocoon (Unscented Night Treatment)

This night cream provides intense hydration without any irritation. It has a fairly neutral, creamy, and slightly earthy scent that feels very grounding. if you find earthy notes unpleasant and your skin is tolerant of essential oils, I recommend the scented versions.

Application Tip: With such a rich formula, less is more. You only need a small amount to see a difference.

Deeply Soothing: The blend of grass-fed tallow, lard, emu oil, ghee, and nilotica shea butter has visibly reduced my redness overnight.

Honeyglow Balm (Unscented)

This is my go-to for daytime nourishment and healing.
The floral notes of the honey carry through beautifully. It has a wonderful non-greasy feel and sinks in quickly - perfect before applying make-up and also for no-make-up days.

Scent Recommendation: For me, most essential oils would spoil the delicate natural aroma.

Pro Tips

To get the most out of these products, I recommend applying both balms after cleansing, and while the skin is still damp. This traps water against the skin and optimises hydration levels.

If you are transitioning to oil-based care, I highly recommend exfoliating gently with a washcloth every day. This prevents a build-up of oils and dead skin cells that can otherwise block pores, cause breakouts, and prevent these lovely balms from being fully effective.

Why I think The Formulas Work

The inclusion of emu oil, ghee, and lard truly elevates these formulas. They contribute vital linoleic acid, balancing the fatty acid profile of the tallow to provide better skin barrier support. In just a week of using these balms, I have noticed significant improvements in my skin's moisture levels, and it feels noticeably calmer.

I highly recommend the unscented line for anyone struggling with sensitivity, redness, or eczema!

I love these products! My sensitive skin can’t handle any brand containing petrol derivatives or ‘beneficial’ acids. RB creams actually reduce my redness and eczema without leaving a ‘tightness’ that is only temporary.

I was unable to use this order because everything was contaminated with something I was allergic to.
I ordered unscented skin products because I have allergies, however included in my order was a free sample scented with frankincense, which I know I am allergic to, and I can only assume it was the free sample which has caused the problem. The whole order was contaminated with a strong smell which I couldn’t get rid of even after cleaning the containers. The smell was causing me an allergic reaction and in the end I had to throw everything away to get rid of the smell.
The seller refused a refund because I had thrown away the products instead of returning them, and insisted that the products were fine even though the containers were contaminated. Whilst I understand that I will not be refunded without proof, I think the seller is missing the point that contaminated packaging renders the whole product useless. I don’t know how I’m supposed to get products out of their containers without touching the contaminated container. I cannot keep a container which is causing me an allergic reaction. I am very disappointed that I was unable to use products which I had paid so much money for, and all because there was no option to select or decline a free sample.

The Honeyglow balm is gorgeous and feels so comfortable whilst giving a gentle glow.
