Today I can honestly say my outlook on…

Today I can honestly say my outlook on rent a Center has change. Thanks to the hard working young people at the North Tryon Store In Charlotte Nc. These Guy were so nice and welcoming. I want to thank Chis and Deyon for there hard work. That look like some heavy ass chairs but they got them up all them Stairs with a smile. I don't care bout the price of the items I bought the customer service was the best. Thank you guys for being a example of what Rentacenter should be!!!!

Attention Landlords

Attention Landlords
One of my tenants rented a sofa from RAC. They caused damages in the hallway from bottom to top, removed a screen from top floor hallway window, which disappeared, to throw the sofa cushions to the first floor. Their insurance company wants to pay a verysmall percentage of the quotes to repair those damages.

Im really aggervated at RACC!

Im really aggervated at RACC!! First off i bought a washer and had it paid aroun a week maybe 2!! It broke down and hasnt been fixed! I did get another one but its nothing like i had before Jermiah and Summer have been great with helping with trying to get me money off and stuff! Now im stuck with this HORRIBLE OF A NIGHTMARE KING MATTRESS!! Ive had it maybe over a year and own it!! It was bought Brand New!! Now its sinking in the middle!! I get no sleep im completely miserable 😫 i really really really hate this mattress ive put toppers on ot but where its sinking its doing no good!! Bought my daughter a brand new Bedroom Suite along with a mattress still paying on that i owe a lil iver 600 and its also sinking!! RACC GET IT TOGETHER YOUR SELLING JUNKY MATTRESS AND WASHERS!! I WANT SOME MONEY BACK OR A DIFF MATTRESS IVE NOT HAD MY STUFF LING ENOUGH TO HAVE ANY ISSUES PLZ MAKE THIS RIGHT!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GREAT!!!

Didn’t have it for a year. It’s already cracking in several places. So upset about this. The set is black I had to put
Black gorilla tape on all the seats on the
Couch. Paid 1,500 in 6 month same as cash. I Redecorated my whole living room. Who wants a taped up couch with a 65’ TV. Just sickening

I am not happy with rac forcing…

I am not happy with rac forcing autopay. I have paid off a washer, ps4,queen bed,65" smart tv, and 8 PC porter cable 20 v battery tools. I currently am buying a 2pc a.c sofa set and a washer and dryer set. When you buy rent to own, you are paying at the least double what it costs at stores. The only thing that made sense to me was I could juggle my payment when I needed. They still always got paid, never had to pick my stuff up until now. As soon as I find a better deal I am having them pick up! If I am being held to on time payments I want the right price as well. I will not buy from rac again and rac can stick their new socialist ways up their ass! I have also been screwed by other places with autopay. I've had money pulled out twice more than once. When this happens you have to wait a week to get your money back. If I want to juggle my payment a little it should not bother them. Never not come in and pay

Rent A Center in Rapid City SD is a joke.

I wanted to give the Rent A Center in Rapid City SD no stars but that wasn't an option. The payment amounts kept changing every time I made a payment but no one could tell me why. No one in that store knew what anyone else was doing with payments. You call one person would tell you one thing another person would tell you something else. My dryer wasn't working right, so I didn't make the payment and because they are supposed to fix your items as long as you are renting from them. I was told they would fix it when the payment was made. I made the payment and asked when they were going to fix it they told me they would be by at 5:30 today. My dryer is still not working right, no one from Rent A Center came by or even called to reschedule. This Rent A Center is a joke. I will be finding out who is higher up than the manager here and giving them a call, they need to evaluate the employees and the store. There was also someone else in complaining when I went in to make the payment. I looked the reviews up on the local webpage and they are only posting good reviews.

Expressing my feelings.

This is not my 1st time dealing with Rent a Center. The 1st time I was staying in another city and it was a pleasant experience. This store here in Marshall is a piece of work. I was faithfully paying my bill on time every month. No problem. When the Co-Vid hit and our jobs was shut down I ask is there anything I can do or file a claim to help with my payments. First the answer was no. Then I called corporate and I was told I could use the club if I wanted. Come to find out there was never a claim filed on my behalf. I tried to pay something on my account when I could and I spoke with the manager and explain. It was like she didn't want to hear it. Heard a conversation about me when I came in to pay something on the account to show good faith that I was trying. When I spoke with one of the area manager about that situation they both denied it. When I was able to return to work I immediately start working to catch up. When I went in to pay i said I would pay on my account every 2 weeks. Well the 4th time a payment was to be made my husband went in the store to make a payment the worker stated asking him how I get paid. If it was monthly then she can't accept my payment every 2 weeks. I informed them if it was a problem they could come pick up the merchandise. It's always one thing or another with them. I've had other merchandise I purchase and paid. I've also return a merchandise so I could be done dealing with this company sooner. Now you gonna tell me how to spend my money. I don't think so. Note to my self: never deal with this business again once this merchandise is paid off. Maybe a class for the employees need to be taught on customer service. If I could rate this company with a negative sign it would be a negative 5.

If someone says they should deliver to…

If someone says they should deliver to house around 2 or 3 then they should, but if they are running behind because things do happen then they should call and let that person know it is taking longer than the time scheduled. My time is valuable also.

skytech gaming bundle

I went to Rent-A-Center in…

I went to Rent-A-Center in Ruston,Louisiana on Monday and they help me to pick out the merchandise that I was looking for which was a washer and dryer. They employee that was helping me explained to me that if I paid $10 that it would get me until the 24th for my payment in sick I would start paying monthly but in today 10/15 I stop by to confirm my delivery the employee tells me that my product cannot be delivered because I didn't pay enough money they would need $25 more dollars for delivery today I said no that's okay so she then proceeded to tell me will just pay $5 and you can get it today and then they called me and said they need a bill with my name on it since I own my home and they also need debit card information for automatic draft I told him I was not intetested in automatic draft and he said it's only for if you are late. I told him no sir because they keep changing if that's what was needed I should have been informed of that prior to my agreeing to get the product.Bad business unsatisfied customer.

Hello

Hello, I put on here a bad review for the Broad Street store out of my emotions without even calling the store to try to give them a chance to rectify the situation. They did an excellent job at doing so. So I want to take back what I said and give the 5⭐ review they truly deserve. The new manager there is awesome.

Delivery truck speedway

Rent-A-Center had a delivery on our culd de sac and the truck sped down the street like he was going to a fire. I was taking my 2 year old granddaughter for a walk and I had to push her into the grass. My neighbor and the mail lady were across the street from me. We yelled at him to slow down and he raised a fist at us. I called customer service and they hung up. I called back and asked for a manager. One never called back. BTW, I'm not a customer, nor will I ever be one! Here's the # I called 1-800-422-8186

i was giving a broken bed and i call ask why they brought a broken bed to me they promise get me new in 2 days it tooks 6 months still not bed we want and lost all money we paid for broken bed and top it off they suppod be bring new Mattress for my son bed i havent heard from them so i am not very happy with them

Expensive-Shady-Bad Customer Service

Never again going with RAC after being a loyal customer for over 2 years. I have paid off some items before and started a new contract with new items. I came to realize I was just paying big $$ and not owning it. Decided to turn in my items for a phone to reduce the payment. Terrible customer service!! No help whatsoever! I was being misinformed constantly! I went to different stores each store gave me a different answer. I would call my store back and would be given false promises. The managers/supervisors were rude! I could tell they were annoyed. Ended up not getting a phone, they lost a customer. I was literally begging them to take my money I did not want to leave RAC but they push me off the cliff. Not worth my time or money. Please Go with their competitors like Aaron's they're faster,effecient,and cheaper!!

By far the worst and most…

By far the worst and most unprofessional company I have every delt with! There management and employees sexually harass females. I missed a payment due to the Coronavirus and there employed contacted me on EVERY one of my personal social media platforms. Taking my first and last legal name off of legal document I had signed with them. To harass me and sexualize me. The manager Steve was one of the culprits so I had no where to turn to speak to a professional... they refused me the contact info to there district manager for months... I stopped making the payments as I was scared to go into there store as I’m a single 20 year old female being harassed by 40 year old grown men. They began to show up at my house and I began getting letters. I finally got ahold of a district manager and spoke with him. He did not take the situation seriously whatsoever and I was extremely disappointed. I made a deal with them to continue payments until I was told that I would need to pay $3800 for a bedset. I decided that i wouldn’t want to be tied to there horrible company for the next few years and decided to schedule a pick up date for the bedset. They are the most ignorant unprofessional people I have ever come in contact with. They offered no help whatsoever during the coronavirus pandemic and only harassed there customers... save yourself time and money... Butte Mt 59701

Rent a center being nasty

I've missed payments due to this coronavirus shut down and other people have the same situation so rent a center sent me a letter claiming they need me to schedule a date to pick up the bed. I purchased with them I've paid over a 1000 dollars already I'm not giving them the furniture back also they should not be taking furniture back then putting it up for resale due to the coronavirus that's nasty do not buy anything from rent a center might catch the virus.
