I wish I could give the organisation a zero rating. I did register with the firm to get a number for a potential landlord. I had to pay £1, which the number never went through. I had to contact the agency themselves, who confirmed the property in question was no longer available. I assume their website was not updated to reflect that.
I moved on house searching, only to notice the same firm took £35 from me after 7 days.
I emailed them asking for a refund, but was met with a moot response. I sent another email asking the matter to be treated as a complaint & asked information on how the matter could be escalated, if not resolved. I was instead sent a long winded email supporting their terms and conditions. The message at the end of the day was ; You are not getting your money back!
Am more bothered about their principles when dealing with customers not the amount & will sternly advice anyone be very careful doing business with them. I am very appalled & will definitely never use them again.

Unexpected £35 charge
They charged my card £35 for a premium subscription I never signed up for. I only paid £1 for registration and didn't agree to any other payments being taken off my card.

I was wrongly charged for subscription and cannot get hold of this company now at all. The mobile number on their website when you call it says ''This number cannot be found'' I tried accessing my account, it has been deactivated, i tried the online chat, the Bot is not available right now. This is after they have taken £35.00 from my bank. Ive called my bank, they cannot cancel or reverse the pending payment to Rent Hero! Extremely frustrating but this is what happens with making card payments online these days, the bank warned me to try and avoid making 1 off payments i.e. with Rent Hero was £1, that was they have your bank details and can attempt to take money every month if you do not ask your bank to put a ''Stop Recurring payment'' on your bank account. DO NOT USE THEM, AVOID AVOID AVOID!

This product is a scam
This product is a scam. It makes you pay €40 a month for links to ads on third-party websites that it doesn't even bother to check are still valid. Most of the time, it leads to inexisting web pages or outdated rental ads.

Pay to search properties?
I wondered why the rent being offered was low, knowing the state of Londons housing crisis, and look there it is, costs money to contact the landlord, no thanks, I knew it seemed to good to be true. That's a red flag I don't need to go further.
And this was one of the suggestions sites from a council advice list, the council who are almost as useless as this site, giving out sites that charge or are riddled with adverts.

Don’t subscribe!!
Tried looking on every website for a home that suits our wants and needs list but no luck.
Found this site and signed up to the subscription and found our home! It’s very expensive though if you don’t remember to cancel before the 7 days!
When I was speaking to the estate agent about how I found the home, they were shocked that it appeared on this site and viewers had to sign up to a subscription to view it.
I am incredibly happy when I found it and thought this was the way forward in the future to find homes however after the estate agent told me it was free on other sites (I just couldn’t find them despite it being in the exact area code I was looking) I was very disappointed

Don't bother wasting time/money feels like a scam
Absolutely waste of time and money. Not suitable for low income persons, all rooms to rent expect you to pay 5x the rent in advanced. If that were possible then wouldn't be hunting on a rubbisly created website.
Doesn't give you a choice to pick more than one location, doesn't keep or save the filters picked.
Overall, waste of time, effort and money. Don't pay for it you'll be kicking yourself.
Feel like the other reviews or testimonies are fake!
