I used eSIM in UK, 1of 2 was not working, but after some correspondences, the support team replace it to new one and it worked.

My experience with Rent n Connect was overall positive. The staff is very friendly and always available, and even when difficulties arose, they were very helpful. Additionally, the connection was good in various parts of the United States, so I highly recommend it

Great solution during our stay in our second home in Bodrum/Turkiye. Delivered to and collected from the resort without problems. The guests that rent our house also use the mobile hotspot (my recommendation ) to their satisfaction.
I rented a mobile hotspot for use in the UK. Pick up and drop off at Heathrow-Terminal 3.
No problems picking up at the allocated spot - I received a blue pouch with the hot spot, a back up battery, and charging cord. There were no instructions on how to use it though - and the counter from which I picked it up could provide no guidance. Fortunately there is free wi-fi at Heathrow and I used it to contact the helpdesk via WhatsApp. It took about 5 mins to figure it all out and get connected.
I was able to use the mobile hotspot throughout my 10 days, however, the hotspot would not consistently hold a charge and most of the time I had it connected to the back up battery to maintain power.
I contacted the Customer helpdesk via WhatsApp a couple of times before I left, when I arrived, and when preparing to leave. They were always quick to respond and answered my questions patiently, I was never rushed. Excellent customer service. The cost for the 10 days was about 1/2 of what it would cost to activate international plan through my phone company. I would use again.
Worse experience, ive arrived in Spain and their instructions wasn't clear. I was waiting for email, and i didn't received any until I check in the booking.com that the link to fill up the form is in there, and not sent in the email or whatsapp, which was very misleading.
Would not recommend. Company was confused and communication was not good on pickup. We were told picking up the device from the airbnb would be ok before our trip started. Then, a day before the company tried to say they couldn't pick it up, couldn't have us mail it back, needed us to drive 40 min roundtrip to drop it off at a shipping center, then required us to be home for a 2 hour last minute window to have it picked up. Luckily, we could make time for this but it was a whole lot of unneeded stress and confusion.
Easily the worst company I have ever worked with.
This review would take an hour to write out - to describe what a horrible experience I had.
1) I had to write to the company three days before my departure to remind them to send the device, which arrived at 5pm on Saturday before my Monday morning departure. They forgot which country I was going to.
2) Once I tried to use the device in the US (after I reminded them which country I was in!) they told me the device did not work.
(There were NO instructions with the device.)
3) They then offered an eSim but no instructions about how to install it so I had to waste my holiday time (hours) WhatsApp texting with them with an eight hour time difference just to get it to work. The hotspot that was supposed to set up did not work dependably and my family had to reconnect every time they picked up their phone.
4) Once I picked up the new device half way through my fortnight holiday, I again had to ask them to configure it as it did not originally work. The battery on this second device worked for maybe four hours between charges. I had to set it up as well, going to an IP address twice to turn the device on. WHY WAS IT NOT SET UP BEFORE USE? Again no instructions provided.
5) On return to the UK, I could not delete the eSim they provided me and after hours of back and forth with multiple people on their WhatsApp chat line asking me THE SAME QUESTIONS OVER AND OVER, I realised they mis-advised me in how I set up the eSim and as a result I now have a bill of over £150 in mobile data roaming.
They have only offered to reimburse 9 of the 16 days and clearly have no sense of good customer service, mixed with awful wifi routers.
While they were kind in their messaging, their written English was often unintelligible which led to more confusion and waste of time.
These are just the highlights. I would strongly discourage anyone from EVER using this company until they get their products and systems straightend out.
