From my very first contact with Resi, the service has been brilliant.

My initial contact was Heather and she guided me clearly and confidently through the early stages of beginning my home extension journey, making what could be an overwhelming process feel straightforward and manageable.

Heather’s communication is consistently quick and clear, she is highly professional, and nothing ever feels like too much trouble or too silly a question for me to ask. Every question was answered thoroughly and promptly, even out of hours, and I always felt supported and well informed.

This positive experience has given me complete confidence in both the process and in proceeding with Resi for my home extension. I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to the service and although I am aware I am just at the beginning of my journey, I would highly recommend Resi based on my experience so far.

We have been very pleased with Resi’s support and assistance through the ordeal that is a planning consent application in London.

It was our first time and we were a bit nervous about capturing all the steps correctly and navigating the process. Resi’s app and dashboard at super intuitive and give you the foresight you need into the next steps. This helps build your confidence in the process and enable you to plan accordingly. It is truly appreciated!

The interaction between the different teams from design team, to planning team to contractor connect team is seamless, keeping all communication within the same message thread on the platform. This also helps to bring consistency and continuity in this process, involving so many different teams (and running the risk of losing important parts of the communication).

A particular thanks to Em and Jack our designer who have also been very supportive when our first attempt resulted in a rejection. Instead of dwelling on this, they quickly identified the problem and provided us with solutions (which included modifying the drawings free of charge), once again navigating what can be a daunting experience for newbies like us.

We have yet to start the work but so far we have been very pleased with the entire Resi team who has always been friendly, accessible, extra responsive and commercial. Can only recommend

This is my second time using Resi and both experiences have been great!

With my current project, I’ve just completed the first stage of the design process. Nick and his team have been outstanding. They delivered bespoke, carefully considered designs with real technical precision, and the 3D visuals are brilliant! They're creative, detailed, and have genuinely brought the project to life.

My plans have now been submitted, and Nick will be supporting me through the planning process. His clear communication, professionalism, and attention to detail has made everything feel smooth and well-managed, and I’m optimistic about the outcome.

The team were so helpful, And one of them was always available to help with any issues that would come up. The plans were on point and We had no issues with the planning department. Bene has been a hugely helpful and collaborative architect in taking our ideas from our heads into a real / tangible plan. It's been a pleasure working with her.

Using Resi took a lot of the stress out of a first time building project. We undertook a 4m rear extension with kitchen, utility and shower room. The process was smooth throughout and the team gave great advice on things I would not never have known about. They also connected us to external suppliers which again made it easy to manage and ensure we were approaching everything in the right way. Highly recommended.

Nick runs a quality and highly professional company. He dealt with my application in a Conservation area in a thoughtful and productive manner achieving planning permission and smoothing out the bumps along the way. I would highly recommend his company.

For a small, but unusual project, Resi has been excellent. Nick took me through the process then stuck with me right to the end, helping me negotiate a tricky final building control process. Couldn't have done it without you. My experience means I thoroughly recommend them. Thanks so much.

We used Resi to design internal renovation. The model is deeply flawed, just one site visit and a number of issues with the plan were missed. This has become evident as we started the build a few months ago. The plans fundamentally missed major structural requirements needed for the renovation, which meant the steelwork needed blocked off the height of the planned roof and light from the velux for the ground floor. In addition to this there was no plan for the soil pipe that went through a knocked down load bearing wall. The lack of detail provided has made it very difficult for the builders and has as a result led to delays. Little details like putting an en-suite sink on an overhanging windowsill (totally impractical) are things that would not have been missed with a regular architect. We also found the project manager to be pushy to an irritating level. As well as missing key details the architect we used didn’t really offer any creative solutions that we hadn’t thought of ourselves. It is really worth paying more for a regular architect.

Louice was very helpful in helping me understand the status of the project and what happens next. She was clear and answered all my questions.

Resi have helped me understand every part of the process. They have also gently and politely kept things moving by giving me a nudge when I need to do things. This is really helpful as I’ve never done this before and they have helped me move more quickly which is just what I needed.

I worked with Resi about a LBC application for a secondary glazing installation at a listed building in Central London. They were very efficient, helpful and easy to work with. It was a great pleasure to work with Alberto with whom we had a few online Teams meetings. He was very knowledgable about the process and provided a very professional assistance.

We engaged Resi as we wanted to replace our derelict garage. Nick and his consulting team were really helpful in identifying and designing the most value adding option - in keeping with our conservation area in Hove. This turned out to be a new mixed used garage / gym / studio space. Throughout I found them to be proactive, responsive, knowledgeable and patient as we considered a few designs. Planning permission was approved without hitch. Would definitely recommend them!

We are very impressed with the Resi online process and with the online dashboard system. We also greatly appreciate, the diligent follow up by Heather Macaulay who did everything possible to give us full clarification of every question that we have asked.

Overall a really not good experience. The planning calls were straightforward and easy though we did have to chase up when it came to submitting the plans to the council.

It isn't worth the saving.
Too much of a compromise to end up passed through different teams, no accountability, no liability and yet happy to take money. Design was off brief, final product has fundamental issues thanks to their resi connect service.

If you're thinking about an extension, it is a significant investment, so don't cheap out on the planning with a company like this.

Wouldn't recommend and have had thanks from talking people out of using Resi and finding a local service.
