Revolut’s handling of corporate actions…
Revolut’s handling of corporate actions is honestly shocking.
I held Worldline subscription rights through Revolut which were publicly tradable during the subscription period. Revolut did not allow me to exercise or sell them myself, and the rights eventually expired worthless.
After weeks of back-and-forth, Revolut admitted they “did not have a mechanism” to properly process or liquidate these rights through their broker integration.
The result? A financial loss of roughly €4,000 because Revolut held a tradable asset in custody without having the operational capability to handle it correctly.
What’s most concerning is not just the loss itself, but the complete lack of transparency and accountability throughout the process.
If you use Revolut for investing, be extremely careful with corporate actions, subscription rights and other non-standard securities. Their platform may not actually support them properly despite allowing you to hold them.

They called police on me! just because I tried to send money to a different account??
Terrible treatment. The Revolut agent misled me and lied to me as a client. They restricted my account and even called the police to my doorstep just because I decided to send money to my other account instead of keeping it in Revolut. Is this even legal? I feel terrible no bank should treat a person like this.
I am going to report this. My money has been on hold, and my account has been restricted for several days now. They are not even calling me, only sending messages. One more thing: their agent does not even speak English properly.
