Rhino Billiards Reviews 

Compared to others here, I'm probably considered a casual player. I play 2 - 3 times a week, but not in a league - just in rec centers for fun. I love the game and am good enough to run the table in 8 ball now and then. When I got my Retro, I immediately switched to a Kamui Soft since most people here say that the Rhino tips are not very good. Honestly, I never gave the tip a chance, so I don't know. It took me a few sessions to get used to the Retro, mostly, I think because I was not used to a pro taper. But now that I've used it a while, I'd never go back. I pick up my old Cuetec now and the shaft feels like a club by comparison. I'm hoping to switch the shaft on the Cuetec to a Rhino shaft. My game has certainly improved since I started playing with my Rhino Retro. I tell the guys I play with that they should consider springing for one since the cue doesn't break the bank and will make a difference in their game.

Holds up very well and the only downside is the weight is a little light

For those wondering how Rhino compares to the competition, I also have the Jacoby Black that was $450.00. I am not a professional, but shoot at least 3 times per week on different leagues. Other than the tip hardness, I've noticed little to no difference aside from saving $300! I would definitely buy another Rhino shaft

I personally bought a 12.75 carbon fiber shaft 1 year ago and I'm barley creating this review because it's been enough time for me to review it. The shaft is great, very low deflection, good quality and you get more for the price you pay. Having said this, the only reason why it's nt a 5 starts for me is because the shaft is a little longer than expected for me, I know some might prefer that, but I personally don't. Other than that, the tip is great, but that's personal preference, some might not like it.

Rhino cues have been an incredible addition to my passion in billiards. All the products are superb quality and amazing feel.

Inexpensive, hits and feels like a dream like you're in complete control of your game's destiny.

I purchased the carbon fiber shaft and carbon fiber has never been something I was a fan of because most are $400+ but this one at $178 I decided to try, best purchase ever, never felt more alive at the table. Shaft almost feels like maple and that's what I like.

It is very nice cue low deflection it’s amazing cue and perfect color, for me I love it too much.

For years I used a fiberglass stick to break. It was suggested to me to switch to a carbon fiber, so I tried it. I can definitely say I am glad I made the switch. The carbon fiber break stick is much more effective on the break. I make a ball on the break a lot more often. Thank you Komet II.

Best Carbon Fiber Cue I've ever played with, bar none, and I've played with them all!!
I've purchased 4 or 5 shafts for various Cues that I own, and recommended Rhino Shafts to dozens of friends and acquaintances. I'm a true believer! When you can equal or beat the big-name brand carbon fiber shafts in low-deflection tests and playability AND pay less than half the price... you'd be a fool to play anything else! Rhino for life!

Phenomenal products and excellent customer service! I love the original Nebula 2. Awesome grip design that has helped me elevate my game. Customer service went above and beyond to help rectify an issue that arguably wasn't even their fault. They are awesome!

I hate to give a 1 star when Billy was so helpful and understanding, but Dustin on the other was rude and condescending and Quality Control was absolute garbage.

My experience is as follows...

I purchased a shaft in May and it wasnt straight, Billy from RB was happy but needed proof. I shared a video and he verified that my concern was valid and had me send my shaft back and he would send a replacement. 2nd shaft came and I told Billy that it was worse than the 1st shaft. He asked for more verification videos and I sent them, his next suggestion was to have a shaft sent directly from vietnam, though it would take longer. I obliged, it arrived and it was straight until I used it. I sent another video to Billy and he asked if he could send a 3rd replacement. I said ok, it came and it was still not straight, I sent videos. Billy suggested that it was due to the butt and shaft being from different brands and offered to have a custom cue built if I spent a little more money. I agreed and sent the money.

Enter Dustin...

The custom cue arrived 20+ days later and the first thing I tested was straightness. It wasnt straight. I sent a video and a new representative named Dustin replied. He said the cue is in fact straight and where I placed the rollers on the cue is incorrect. I shared the average Joe's youtube review to let them know I wasnt the only one who says the cue isnt straight. Dustin proceeds to try and tell me that its physics and the equilibrium point, and the shift in weight and balance affects the straightness of the cue. I shut that down pretty quickly.

Its been over 3 months, 4 shafts and 1 custom cue later and im down the money, time and effort with nothing but a sub par nonrefundable cue to show for it.

Save your money and go with a reputable company or pray that you get Billy when you reach out to customer service.

I really like my rhino 11.8 mm shaft it's smoothest shaft I have ever used no powder or glove ,effortless stroke ,awesome feel , plenty of action an cue ball control .the ontime delivery was appreciated ,i,ll be back ordering another one soon thanks HMD!

This was a bad experience we waited weeks for this and I’m missing the joint and the butt of the stick.

My experience with rhino billiards has been a great one. I have ordered 2 shafts from them for myself and encourage teammates on 2 different teams that I am a captain of to order Their products as well and they have ordered everything from full cues,Break, cues, gloves etc. Not a single person has had anything bad to say.. The quality is great.You cannot beat it for the price. If you have any needs, the customer service that is great too. They are quick to respond and are there to guide and help with your needs. I shoot with meucci cues, and I have noticed that the cue collar it's slightly yeah smaller with a meucci. Rhino billiards will even customize a shaft to ensure that it fits your cue perfectly. I will continue to recommend this company do as many people as I can. And recommend them 10 out of 1.

I bought two more ques as a gift to my son - the jumper and the breaker. Impeccable quality and performance. My son loves them. The first que I bought him was the vintage wood model.
