Rhino Trade Insurance Reviews 

I acquired public liability insurance through Rhino Trade Insurance 10 days ago after a recommendation from HETAS.

After calling to discuss the policy in detail with a gentleman named Ben, I was advised to complete the process online. However, I encountered an issue where the software wouldn’t allow me to finish the procedure.
When I called back, I found out they had closed for the weekend!

I contacted them again on the Monday, only to be informed that their online system doesn’t permit completion when specific add-on components are included in the policy—this was the very add-on we had spent 30 minutes discussing on the phone!

During our second conversation on Monday, I confirmed that plant hire was covered under the policy, and I was assured they it was included in the premium calculation.

I proceeded to pay over the phone and was informed that the policy documents would be accessible in their web portal.

Upon reviewing these documents, I found no mention of coverage for plant hire!

I have sent three emails inquiring about this and have yet to receive a response. I consider this to be very poor service.

This quote was slightly more expensive than the broker I have used for years, but since they were recommended by HETAS, I thought the process of notifying HETAS each year about active public liability insurance would be simplified, saving me time. Instead, I have wasted much more time than I have saved!

Given my experiences thus far, I have concerns about their responsiveness and assistance in the event of a claim.
