Poor quality cars and can’t get hold of…

Poor quality cars and can’t get hold of Ricco. No website or contact details.

Purchased through Selfdriges who have washed their hands of this product because the warranty is outside 6 months. Been trying to get hold of Ricco for months and can’t find any details - so resulting to this.

Would have thought Selfridges carry out due diligence but guess not.

Ride on car is dangerous, it’s stuck and wheels don’t move and started smoking. Dangerous for kids and they should be for kids!

Outstanding Service

Reliable trustworthy company

I ordered a toddler trampoline using wowcher and Ricco Toys was the supplier. The trampoline is of very good sturdy quality, however there should have been 30 bungee straps for the base bud there was only 29 in the box when it arrived, as it was an unopened box it would have happened during packing. I contacted them through my wowcher purchase and could not be more satisfied with Ricco Toys. They were quick to respond and very apologetic and sent 2 replacements in the post immediately. My grandson absolutely loves the trampoline and I am very grateful to Ricco Toys for their understanding and resolution to my issue. I would definitely recommend this company and if possible I will be looking at purchasing further goods in the future .

Childs battery operated Mercedes AMG ride on Toy Car

I bought a toy car during December 2020 which my grandson has frequently used since being given the car as a xmas present.
Unfortunately the remote controller was accidentally broken. I contacted RICCO Customer Services to see if they could help me source a replacement. Their reaction to this request was superb. Once we had sorted out the type of controller required for this model a replacement was immediately dispatched.
What a totally unexpected and pleasant experience this proved to be.
I can't thank them enough for their professional reaction to my problem, particularly as this purchase was over 2 years ago, and I recommend using this company.

5 Star experience

I emailed to see if i could purchase safety harness to replace the same on my little grand-sons push trike come stroller, with the intention to remove the old frayed harness already there, and somehow replace them with the new, but Ricco toys replied asking for photo of what i was looking for, then they messaged me to say they could help ok, the next thing i was informed by email it had been posted, when i asked what the bill was, i was told it was free of charge not only the harness but the complete seat and head rest and harness attached, to be honest my wife and i were gob smacked, to say the least, so all at Ricco, a mighty big thank you, anyone reading this, this company deserves all the business possible, what they did, in my book cannot be surpassed

Very poor

Very poor. No support and Consumer rights ignored. Buy at your peril! We are left with an unusable product.

Edit: Please review Consumer rights act. Its covered under this as it has not lasted a reasonable amount of time. I'll be taking this further.
Final edit; after ignoring for weeks, they emailed me back following this email. I've been told to buy a new battery at my own cost. So if you want to purchase a product for £400 and replace it after 2 years be my guest. If you don't, Avoid!!

We have identified this complaint is related to an order that has ran out of warranty, and more specifically related to a problem that is not covered by the general warranty.
We are very sorry that we were unable to grant your request, however we are not able to provide batteries under the same warranty as the product, as the battery is consumable and is not expected to last forever. Especially as in this particular case, the battery in question is over 24 months old.

As stated in our email response, we can help point you in the right direction of a new battery, but this is not something we will cover at this point. The order purchased did not include any form of extra battery protection, and even the general warranty has since expired.

Apologies if this was not what you hoped. This is consistent to how we deal with battery complaints, and how many ride on car sellers do. We only cover replacements for batteries if the battery has of course encountered a problem upon receipt, or within a few months of usage.

Sorry again that you are not happy with the experience. Please feel free to reach out again and we can point you towards replacing your battery.

Trustworthy with great customer service

Great customer service. I had a problem with the wheel on my son's car falling off. Ricco replied promptly and sent me a replacement wheel which worked perfectly. At no point did they ask for money, or even proof of purchase. I felt trusted and valued. Highly recommended.

Ended up contacting onbuy whom I purchased through and they were great. The woman ann contacted ricco toys and I suddenly got message from them. They are collecting scooter tomorrow for refund or repair. I will be choosing refund

Non existent aftercare - avoid

Bought a ride on car for Christmas by RIcco from Selfridges. Set it up beforehand to find a fault. For faults you are asked to contact Recco. No phone number available and asks you to email. No response from the technical help team so went to another company! Really would advise going elsewhere. You

Order not delivered. Meant for a Christmas present. Have emailed, rang and tried contact on Facebook a few times. No response. This company is a SCAM!!!! DO NOT ORDER. I'm out of pocket over 300e and no gifts for Christmas!

Purchased an item via groupon 5 weeks…

Purchased an item via groupon 5 weeks ago and am yet to have any correspondence about delivery. Have emailed the company, have emailed groupon and yet still nothing. With the cost or living right now, losing £73 when I am a single parent isn’t ideal. Now my 4 year old is present less on Christmas.
