Bad service

The bike I rented always had issues switching modes and turning lights on/off, then I had issues with the battery (and thus the bike) turning off randomly and they tried to blame me saying I was charging the battery for too long (which is not true. I never charged it for longer than what they told me to charge it for).

Eventually I got tired of the persisting issues so I bought a different bike somewhere else and went to return this one. At the time of return I was blamed for breaking the battery which has a minor crack on the top end plastic bit, but they can’t prove the crack wasn’t there when they gave it to me the first time, or that they didn’t break it when they had it for a whole day for a service. They took photos of the bike before giving it to me, but conveniently they don't have photos of the battery condition. Their only "proof" that they gave it to me in perfect condition was: "It's a big no no for us to give a broken battery to someone, so it couldn't have been us". They say that the crack is not wear and tear either, that it could have only happened if someone dropped the battery, but i didn't drop it for sure, they can't prove they didn't, and I was charged $100 for battery repair costs. Ridiculous.

The bikes for rent are wasted, noisy, and then you have to deal with all the nonsense, so if you can, just get your own bike or rent somewhere else.

Amazing service on my first bike…

Amazing service on my first bike rental, also had some technical issues with the bike some times but these issues were solved perfectly by the staff. They also heard everything I had issues with and understood my struggle after the servicing the battery issue was solved but another issue popped up with the gps of e bike. The gps was also replaced while servicing the bike. Another issue of the application was smoothly communicated with the support staff from the application, after some days that problem was also resolved.
I genuinely like their after service feedback process, in which Richard ensured that the problem was resolved fully.
Thankyou Richard
Cheers

Zoomo ebikes Melbourne Team the best

I found Zoomo to be much cheaper compared to other ebike shops. Every ebike shop has its pros and cons, but I chose Zoomo cycle because their bikes are safe and meet Australian regulations. I tested ebike with a throttle, and it made me feel uneasy and jumpy. While I appreciate not having to pedal anymore, it's a bit scary riding a bike that can go over 30 kph.

The team at Zoomo is fantastic. Even though they're always busy, they been really great with customer service and support. They been taking care of me throughout my 3 week rental, always emphasizing battery safety and the importance of regular maintenance. I always see them happily helping customers, even with my limited English.

I highly recommend Zoomo ebikes. They professional, easy to deal with, and provide quick-solutions. The throttle is great, but it’s much assurance to know I’m riding a legal bike.

Thanks, Ayush, for the awesome customer service!

NOAH Rocks

Noah rocks! I like his vibe and how he stays chill in a busy situation in the store. I feel for the guy, I work in retail too. They need to hire more staff. The serving time was slow, and I got line-jumped multiple times, but I kept my cool. Finally, after 2 hours of waiting, I have my bike! I can't wait to use it for my daily commute instead of taking the train and bus.

Zoomo E-bike isn't just a place I rent…

Zoomo E-bike isn't just a place I rent bikes from; it's become a part of my life, thanks to Ferl and her incredible team. Walking into Zoomo feels like visiting family, with Ferl's warm greeting and genuine interest in how I've been. Her memory for names and conversations never ceases to amaze me. Renting the Zero bike has been a game-changer for my outdoor recreational and side hustle activities, even if I do wish for a bit more battery life sometimes. But hey, it's a small price to pay for the reliability and service Zoomo offers. Blaise and Arun are amazing too, always ready to help me with a smile. From Brisbane to Melbourne, Zoomo has been my number one choice for safe and compliant e-bikes. If you want more than just a rental, but a true connection, Zoomo is the place to be. Thank you, Zoomo family, for making every ride an adventure.

Amazing people

Amazing people, the asian girl hustling hard to get the customers attention despite she's feeling under the weather. I subscribed to used e-bike $99 for 16 weeks, pretty good deal. The bike looks a bit old but w hat matters to me is the gps, app support and warranty which is a huge deal. I returned my previous white back last year and now they have the sale. Great stuff and amazing staff, kudos to the asian girl I hope you be okay!

Worst experience with any company I’ve ever had.

Disgusting company, blatant cash grab.
Text message customers at 11PM at night.
Supply faulty bikes and try and make you pay for this unless you mention getting a copy of the mechanics report and reporting it to the ombudsman. I’ve never wrote a negative review ever, but for this company I must.

Definitely stay away

Definitely stay away. I rented a bike to get uber eats delivery from Zoomo cambridge on Wednesday 17th May.
On Friday, May 19, the brakes of the bike broke down and I made an appointment with the Zoomo service for Monday, May 22. I took the bike to the zoomo cambridge branch on monday and the related employees repaired it and delivered the bike in a short time.
I went to the zoomo cambridge branch on Monday, May 29, and delivered the bike with all its parts (key, spare battery, battery, lock and lock extension cable) without any problems, and the person working there accepted the return without any problems and took delivery of the bike.
I received an e-mail on June 3rd that 100 pounds of bond and 85 pounds of damaged were deducted from my deposit due to the fact that I delivered the bike incomplete and damaged.
I said it was a mistake and they should check it out.
Afterwards, I received an e-mail that the rim of the bike was delivered damaged, and I sent an e-mail asking them to prove it because I was sure that I had delivered the bike without any problems.
A few emails later they sent me a photo of a broken rim from another bike and only the rim part was visible.
The date section was cut off in the photograph taken as evidence, so it did not provide evidence, and the bike with the broken rim in the photograph they took was definitely not in a condition to be ridden. On the day I made the return, I drove the bike to the store and delivered it without any problems.
I replied to the e-mail again and wrote that this bike does not belong to me and I asked for a real photo of the bike in full and uncropped history.
I absolutely do not accept this situation and I will complain to the legal authorities.
I delivered the bike the way I received it, this is absolutely nothing but deceiving people.
I will tell everyone around me about this situation so that they stay away from Zoomo.

They pay for their 5 star reviews on…

They pay for their 5 star reviews on google they give new members a $50 discount off next payment to get their 5 star rating before they find out what they are really like, they will also change the contract you sign with them when ever they feel like it to scam you even more, there brakes are beyond crap that are cheap $30 brakes and that's the whole brake system not just part of it and they not even good for a week before they need maintenance done to them which with my bike they have refused to do maintenance for 4 months now which was part of our agreement before they changed it and took that out of it and now they saying coz they are growing and got more customers now and making more money they have to put U the price to have better customer service, lol there is no such things as customer service there, they treat you like crap and scam you they are only nice when you first go in to get your money then try to upsell you and when you don't go for the up sale that's when they really change and show their true colours

I was delivered my Zoomo Sports ebike…

I was delivered my Zoomo Sports ebike at my home on September the 15th 2021.
I was told by the manager of the store(Jordan), that it was assembled straight out of a box? For something that was considered brand new? it was in substandard rough condition, arriving with scuff marks and scratches and dints on the paint work.

I remember the tyres being dirty on the day of delivery and when I questioned it? I was told that it had been road tested before its delivery? that I believe, because the odometer displayed 5km, this was far from a brand-new bike, but more so a used at best case scenario.

The chain continuously falls off and has been defective from day one.
Furthermore, to add to my disappointment, there was brake fluid leaking from the right side brake fluid reservoirs, and the rear breaks were grinding very loudly, which were faulty.
I had to take it back the next day for repairs to the Melbourne store.

There was never an apology from the rude manager he just wasn’t interested.
I pointed some of these issues out on the day to the delivery guy who was the store manager, but he just dismissed it and told me he was in a hurry to leave and complete other deliveries of bikes with his van?

This is a $3000 bike I paid for and so far the customer service has been nasty and the condition of the bike initially has been appalling and substandard.
The bike continued to be faulty and I had to repeatedly take it back for repairs.

Not to mention the senior bike mechanic, had very limited, to very poor knowledge of diagnosis to repair the bike and often had to consult elsewhere for repair advice and sometimes would even deny that I had bought the bike in for repairs.
I was sold a lemon!

The service bookings for the bike were always cancelled and changed on very short notice with appalling excuses.
Parts like mud guards were not available in stock and I had to wait months for one to arrive.

Not to mention the delivery date wasn't on time and it had to be pushed back a week.

Finally! after lengthy heated disputes and arguments and numerous email exchanges, I returned the bike to the store and I got a full refund of my money back.

I would not recommend buying a Zoomo Sport, its heavy and a sluggish ride and it’s a complete waste of money.
