Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 191 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people expressed dissatisfaction with the product, citing issues with game balance, outdated graphics, and a focus on monetization through skins rather than game development. The user experience is frequently criticized due to a buggy client, poor matchmaking, and a frustrating ranked system that often pairs experienced players with new or underperforming teammates. Customers also report significant problems with customer service, describing it as unhelpful, unresponsive, and difficult to communicate with, often receiving generic or unhelpful responses. The app itself is noted for being laggy and difficult to uninstall, while the staff are perceived as uncaring and prioritizing profit over player satisfaction. However, some customers were satisfied with the design and seamless experience of Teamfight Tactics, praising its animations and addictive RNG.

Never play anything that has to do with Riot Games

The support is terrible I lost my account I gave them the purchase receipts and the original email as well as the email from riot saying that I created the account and they are not helping me recover my account due to me not knowing the first skin I bought/upgraded 4+ years ago I made my account April 28th 2021 and they expect you to remember every single minor detail of your account even with purchase receipts and transaction codes the original email they refuse to assist me recover my account not to mention half of the agents repeat the same phrase. At this point I have a better chance of finding the person who took my account and getting it back from them than if I was to go through riot support.

Worst gaming company

Worst gaming company, 7-10 years ago was a good one and cared about players, now they care all about money, the people working there they dont know what they do with their games (also Hytale, huge opportunity and they did not knew what to do with it) league of legends huge TOXIC community, flamers, trollers, boosted accounts, some hackers also, the worst experience, 0 rewards by game, they decreased the chances of skins in Hextech, it gives only icons and champs and wards, they need only ur cash, the company DOES NOT CARE ANOUT ITS PLAYERS! dont bother play this game anymore, play something else, i am sure u can find other games far much better than this sh1..t!

negative stars

If I could give them negative stars, I would.
The appeal system is really bad; they never accept appeals when you do nothing, literally, with the excuse being "this is an automated suspension, we can't interfere." No one's buying that. On top of overpriced skins, really bad matchmaking, and very shitty customer support, who knows how this company even managed to become so famous?

Worst gaming company in existance

Worst gaming cimpany in existance, their anticheat makes their games unplayable, and theur games only give my pc problems, its not even worth 1 star, they should either fix their games, and put their focus on the players instead of the money, either they do that or they should shut down

Reporting a player that actively throw…

Reporting a player that actively throw a match does nothing despite having video evidence sent to them and they don't even respond to your report. They hate us players and only care on how to take money instead of fixing issues in the game. Throwing player in league/ valorant? Don't worry, new $500 gacha skin coming up! Also, check out our new Valorant skin bundle costing $100 but reuses old animations and models from 4 different skins bundle.

I’ve genuinely never felt this…

I’ve genuinely never felt this disappointed spending money in a game. Valorant’s store design feels like it actively punishes players for not memorising hidden rules buried in support pages. I bought a melee from a bundle thinking it counted toward the bundle price (because that’s exactly what the UI implies), only to find out afterwards that buying the “free in bundle” item separately removes the discount completely. No warning, no indicator, nothing. Just a trap waiting for anyone who doesn’t crawl through policy pages before clicking purchase.

When I reached out to support, they just copied the policy back at me. No willingness to acknowledge that the UI is misleading, no accountability for the design issues that cause these situations, nothing. And the best part? Once you upgrade the skin even slightly, it becomes “untouchable,” as if a single click suddenly means you fully understood a system they never explain.

Honestly, I’m disappointed in myself for choosing to spend my hard-earned money on a game that treats genuine player confusion like an inconvenience. If this is the level of clarity and support a paying customer gets, I don’t see why anyone should feel confident buying anything from their store.

Would be giving this 0 stars but…

Would be giving this 0 stars but unfortunately I can not. Riot can contuinusly dissapoint a frequent customer. Everybody else will be gettingf neo frontier, kuranomi, reaver, and just about any decent not even just decent gun skin. But no I get 3 days in a row 2 of those days I come home from a horrible day at work to a donkey shop with stuff a 4 year old could design with their pecker. I could honestly settle for nearly anything exepct the abosulte donkey dumpster fire I am expericencing. Riot has discriminated and offended me beyond belief. Whatever you do dont install this game. AND DO NOT BUY THEIR BS SKINS.

Beautiful slogan

Beautiful slogan — 'players first'… sure. Money first. Your anti-cheat makes the game unplayable after 3–5 minutes, claiming it’s not working. You announce League 2.0, yet you can’t even handle the current version. I’m honestly glad your playerbase is shrinking, and to be completely honest, I wish you the downfall you’re heading toward.

Bad queueing/matching up system

Bad queueing/matching up system. Gives you always the worst type of players to be with. Won't give you consistent win. But give consistent loss. How is that fair. You would even go down to lower rank. Like, how the hell is that allowed. No matter if you do good or bad in game, still all the same.

Shocking company with zero customer support

Shocking company with zero customer support. Their support agents are all just AI bots that immediately close any ticket you submit to them. Having had an account for over 12 years without a single issue, all it takes is a griefing team working together and abusing the automated report system to ruin you. Impossible to speak to anyone, this company deserves to fall.

customer support is one of the worst…

customer support is one of the worst I've ever experienced. you submit a ticket and always get copy pasted responses, different people with each response, and genuinely passive aggressive rude people. they won't answer questions, close tickets, don't read your actual issues, are passive aggressive, write contradicting responses, and never help.

Even when I posted the above to review their game, they replied with a generic copypasta of "we understand it's frustrating to receive a penalty" proving they don't read as I have never been penalized and wrote nothing about it

Scammers

Scammers. Do not even attempt with support just make bs tickets cuz they suck ( just saved you a few hours) they wont solve your problem

Do not spend money on game, their anti cheat prevents any 3rd party apps including the ones required for school and work then perma ban you for life for not even cheating, just for having a school app installed. Imagine if you spent lot of time and money for it all end up like that? Yeah do not be like me, learned my lesson. Do not interact with RIOT or give em any money or clout. Not trustworthy for flawed anti cheat and zero competence at support. If you think it wont happen to you, just wait cuz it will!!
