Following an accident that cost me £2.5K, they reimbursed me in full. The whole process lasted 2 months

I had an accident and got invoiced by Hertz UK for the maximum amount of £2.5K. Riverside/Orchard repaid me the full amount. The process from claim to payment took around 2 months.

They lose a star as the system occasionally got a little stuck but a quick reminder was all that was required to get things moving again.

Definitely value for money.

Easy to use

Website has an easy set up, The terms and conditions in German helps. I guess the Germans are often customers... we love our safety.

Easy to navigate simple process.

Easy to navigate simple process.
We were sad to read that we can only have 2 lead drivers if they are live in 1 address.
We are 1 lead driver and 1 second driver at the same address but often travel with a friend who lives in the Netherlands who wants to drive too.

One to avoid -

An obstructive, inefficient and untrustworthy company. The kind of company that gets insurance companies a bad name. As per other reviews - use of unreasonable requests for additional information/documents that are not available and use this as a means to not reviewing legitimate claims. My best advice is to not use this company and to progress to Independent Dispute Resolution / Civil claim to progress any loss/claim.

Full coverage insurance is only part coverage insurance

I made a so called -full coverage‘ insurance for a rent-a-car in Australia. I only later found out, that this so called full coverage insurance does not cover any possible damage of a third party. Every other full coverage insurance I made before always also covered third party damage. As result I needed to make a second full coverage insurance.
