Poor quality boots

Bought a pair of work boots in September 25 and within 4months both heels have fell apart,and I only work 2 days a week sometimes 3 ,ive contacted them 3 weeks ago and they have still not replied, do not buy from this company, the boots are poor quality and the customer service is really poor.

Poor product/Poorer customer service

I received the item two weeks later than I was expecting to, I wore the safety boots for around 2-3 weeks and the material on the toes started to come away exposing the steel toes. The item was also described as water resistant! They are not I had wet feet in any bit of rain. The grip on the sole is poor too, it’s like a slick tyre. I started the refund process and was informed that the refund had been processed on 22/12/2025. I have still not received my money back. I’m have tried to contact them with multiple emails but with no response. My advice. Buy a known brand of safety boot. Do not purchase this poor product that is probably only fit for a manager who has to put on boots once a week, they are not for the trades who work all day in any weather. This is the perfect example of stick to what you know. I will never use this company again and I warn people to using them!

Avoid

I ordered a pair of boots mid November last year, other than the confirmation email I didn’t hear anything. After 3 weeks I emailed the company and got an apology and the promise that they’d pop another pair in the post. Another 3 weeks passed and still nothing. I emailed them back and 5 weeks later….still no reply or boots!

Do not buy scammers

Do not buy. Scammers.
They sent the wrong size so I returned them for replacement. After several non responsive emails I have no boots no replacements and no refund.
Scammed!!

Ordered a pair of boots paid express…

Ordered a pair of boots paid express delivery but was made to wait over a week for delivery. When boots turned up found them faulty, reported back to rivrise who just didn’t care. All they ever send you is an e mail saying we have reported your quirky to our forfillment team of which NEVER get back to you! Countless e mails from myself asking for refund or replacement same e mail return. So complete scam. Terrible customer service. Anyone thinking of buying through this lot don’t!

Steer Clear!!!

Ordered a pair of safety trainers on behalf of my mate on 28/09/25. The website gives you the illusion that it is a UK company and that the shoes will be with you in a maximum of 5 days via Royal Mail after a maximum of 5 days for RivRise to prepare the order. So I waited for 10 days, still no sign of the safety trainers. Emailed Rivrise and I did get an email back from their customer services, advising me that the shoes had been posted, yet I never received an email from them as they stated I would do, confirming dispatch had been carried out. Suddenly, on the same afternoon, I received an email stating the shoes had been posted and that I would get another email once the shoes were at their local post office with tracking details. Checked the tracking link and it showed that the shoes were in fact in China and not the UK. So now 11 days into the order and I've still no idea when they will be arriving. Checked ebay after reading these reviews and found exactly the same shoes for half the price and also available in different colours too!! Wish I had read these reviews first!!! Further updates to follow.............

14/10/25 - Still no sign of my order and no indication of when I will see it either!! Tracking provided is useless and tells you nothing!! The wait continues.............

21/10/25 - Still not turned up yet, but tracking is now working and it has advised that the shoes have now left China!! To be continued...............

27/10/25 - Shoes have finally arrived!!!

Invisible boots hollow promises

I ordered my boots way back in September and I’ve still yet to receive them all I get is a bunch of hollow apologies..told them whenever the do arrive I’ll be sending them right back..if this is their customer service I could care less bout the boots..can’t comment on the boots as I’ve yet to see them

Joke of a company

I purchased a pair of the safety trainers and received the wrong size to what I ordered so emailed them about a return QR code but was told they don’t refund return costs.I explained it was their fault as they sent the wrong size but it’s like hitting your head against a brick wall trying to get any sense out of the ignorant and clearly brain dead staff.I paid to return them and took an exchange because after reading reviews on here I knew there was zero chance of a refund.Now onto the trainers themselves,poor quality which you can buy on tik-tok for a third of the price and i firmly believe all positive reviews on here are fake as there’s not a chance these reflect a true opinion on the quality of these cheaply made tat.I wish I’d read the honest reviews on here first as I would have saved myself so much time and hassle but hopefully this honest review saves others from making the same mistake.

Awful company

Took 2 weeks to receive my safety boots,They are very
uncomfortable to wear despite claiming to be a widefit.
Asked for a refund as their advert states 30 day money back guarantee but have three times been refused
as was told by the arrogant Anna that sale items
are not eligible.Having spoken to citizens advice i was told legally they have to if within 14 day cooling
off period from when received.Arrogant Anna seems
unconcerned by this,but she will be forced to refund me in full as i will not let this cowboy company get away with it.Have reported Rivrise to Trading Standards and have several more options
left for me.Anna you are one ignorant arrogant person as confirmed when my review on their site
was deleted! Watch this space.I would urge anyone
in a similar situation to do the same.

Month to arrive and refuse to exchange

Took a month to arrive and when they did they are too big. Im a female size 5 and they fit my son who is size 7. Contacted company to exchange for a smaller size and was told NO EXCHANGES sorry. So that's nearly £60 i may has well just set fire too instead. Stay away from them terrible company

Nothing received

Ordered shoes on 27th August and as at today (8th September) they still haven’t arrived. Every email gets a generic response of they are on the way, be aware that looking on the tracking link these shoes have travelled all around China and seem to have made their way to Feltham where they have come to a halt. Oddly I ordered from a well known Chinese website days after this and that order has arrived . I am now about to contact my bank as I have given up all hope. Do not believe the website that delivery is 3-5 days!

Would give 0 stars if allowed!! Ordered these as needed comfy work wear
Was made to believe that it was a UK company as stated in advertising. Said they would be delivered in 3-5 days by Royal Mail!! Took 2 weeks and delivered by Yodel. Asked on Yodel what the hold up was to be told that the shoes were coming internationally!! From China!!!
Paid £54 for these, to have someone at work buy the exact same shoe on Shein, but 2 pairs for £40 and they came within 4 days!!! Absolute scam!! Avoid this company! Delivery is not as advertised!

Poor Customer service

Customer service/delivery service hopeless. Been waiting a week now and still not received my boots, 'customer service' states that they should get them to me in the next week or so if there are no delays! Meanwhile, they keep pressuring me to buy a second pair, I don't want a second pair, I just want to receive the ones I've paid for.
Just an update today( 24/8), boots still not arrived, still no idea when they’re coming. Been given tracking info which is useless, just shows me a map of where I live! Meanwhile, all they do is keep offering me a second pair. This company doesn’t deserve our business.
Another update (26/8). Yodel now have my boots, in fact they’ve had them for 5 days, still no idea when they will be delivered! Have tried contacting customer service, they’ve replied and said they’ll reply within 48 hrs!
27/8 still no delivery. Yodel still still have my boots, no idea when they’ll be delivered. Rivrise keep fobbing me off with excuses like holidays and staff shortages. I have now referred the matter to Trading Standards. Absolutely shocking ‘service.’
