Robinson and Foster are brilliant. They fitted a new kitchen door with catflap, glass panes in internal doors, two windows and very large new patio bifold doors. All the work is the highest quality work, and they have been really neat and tidy and took the upmost care with everything they did. We couldn’t ask for more. Over the last year we have had a lot of work done on our house by lots of tradespeople (electricians, plasterers, kitchen fitters, builders) and R&F have been the best of them all. They are great!

Robinson & Foster replaced our glass window panels back in June 2023. We were really happy with their service. They turned up in time, did the job and left no mess.

This company has installed composite doors in my house in December 2019. The doors turned out to be of very poor quality and have been making very loud cracking noises. The noises are so loud they wake us up in the middle of the night. Since then we have been trying to get them fixed/replaced. A few months ago doors were replaced (after making many complaints) and the "new" doors are also of a very poor quality (making the same horrible noises). The company have been very active in trying to stop me from exercising my consumer rights by telling me I won't get a full refund for the faulty because I have to pay their employees wages, they are not the one who manufactured the doors so if I take them to court the court will say the installation was well done and they are not manufacturer... I'll be taking them to small claims court and reporting to trading standards. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

Answer to company reply:

After the glazing cassettes were changed we noticed the same problem immediately (max. few days later) and informed Robinsons and Glass about it so their answer is not true.

Ive been told the new slab has been ordered (it has never been agreed with me) and will be made within 12 weeks. After a period of 12 weeks has passed and no slab has been delivered/replaced, Ive contacted the company to find out they believe the slab has actually NEVER been ordered so the company's answer is not true.

A delay in actually being able to come and fit the windows was down to COVID, and not Matt and the team. Frustrating but unavoidable.

Once the date was set they came on time and worked efficiently, and tidily, leaving no mess at all. They were all respectful and communicated well with us.

I would definitely use them again, and recommend Robinsons Glass to all.

Robinson and Foster Glass LTD replaced a panel in our back door that had a damaged cat flap in. They were quick to take measurements, kept us updated as they ordered and awaited delivery of the panel and quick and easily installed the new one as soon as it arrived. Great service with really clear communication throughout. Will use again!

5 Star service from Mathew. When our PVC back door would not open we called Robinson & Foster Glass, Mathew agreed to call the next morning, he arrived on the dot at 9-30 am and managed to unlock the door, fit a new lock and mechanism. A*** service. Very helpful and punctual. Never to busy to answer questions and be of help. Brilliant service and workmanship and even carried original glass upstairs for me to store. Really happy with my new cat flap installation and was very at ease with the friendliness from Matt. Thank you very much 👍

Wouldn’t hesitate in using again. Reasonable quotes, and a friendly team who delivered a fantastic job and left each day with no mess. I had 3 windows and a front door replaced. The team even fixed a handle on a window that wasn’t being replaced with no extra charge. Nothing was too much trouble! Thanks again We absolutely love the end result!

I received a quick response for a quote to replace the inner panel of my front door, Matt was very polite and professional and provided me with some ideas from his brochure.

The work was done really quickly and to a high standard. Really pleased with how it looks.

R&F replaced a misted window in our spare room. They were very punctual, I never had to chase them. They kept me updated throughout and offered a great high quality, professional service.

Robinson & Foster (R&F) absolutely amazed me in terms of their fair quote, patience with my indecisiveness, speed at responding, exemplary customer service skills, efficiency in fitting and for making this process so easy. I got several quotes from other companies before opting to use R&F and the quotes were overinflated, so varied in price and one company even took 3 months to give me a quote. I was slightly nervous about using R&F because the company hasn't been established as long as other companies but this does not reflect the level of experience, skills and competence these guys have. They were absolutely fantastic and I would have no issue recommending Robinson & Foster to anyone!! Great work Matt, Mike and Matt! Thank you so much

This was a full refit of double glazing in a 3-bed semi including front door and patio doors. As usual I get 3 quotes for expensive projects such as this The Robinson & Foster quote was middle of the 3. However, I was impressed by Matt's (Robinson) detailed discussion of what the work program would be and re-assurance that they would not leave until I was fully satisfied. I was not disappointed. Matt (Foster) and Mike carried out the work and completed over 4 days. as planned They worked tirelessly and ensured that the house remained secure after each day's work. Nothing was too much trouble, the final quality of work was excellent and they cleared up/disposed of all the rubbish/old double glazing afterwards. They also worked in with some other workers I'd hired to do another job (again over the same 3-4 days). They worked in well with the other workers (who unfortunately were not as tidy workers as Matt and Mike). A 25% deposit was required for the work which was put into an independent holding account - ie similar to flat/house rental deposits.
I would fully recommend Robinson & Foster Glass Ltd to anyone considering double glazing fitting.
