i was impressed with the whole thing until they said there was a small sign up fee 8 dollars and then when it got to the signup page they want another 94 dollars monthly until you sign off.
I thought we got rid of monthly health care fees.

I PAID $75, WAS NOT SEEN ON VIDEO.
DR SAID DOESNT FEEL COMFORTABLE PRESCRIBING EYE DROPS. REQUESTED I RECEIVE REFUND.
RINA FROM COMPANY SAID WE CAN TRY OTHER DRS TO GET EYE DROPS. I SAID WE CAN TRY ONE MORE, OTHERWISE I'LL JUST GET REFUND. 2ND DR SUGGESTED MRI?! FOR DROOPY EYE FROM BOTOX? WTH. I WAS TOLD REFUND. NO REFUND HAPPENED.

I’m only leaving 1 star as there is no option for zero stars . This is the biggest joke of health care I’ve came across in 43 years !!!

Used Rocket Doctor for the second time today. The first time, six months ago, was for an appointment for my toddler with a ruptured eardrum. Today we used Rocket Doctor for a shoulder injury that has been causing my husband pain over the last week.

Both times we have been happy with our experience. We received a call back from scheduling staff within hours and spoke to a doctor with 24 hours on both instances, even though today is the Saturday of a long weekend.

Both times prescriptions were directed to our pharmacy and today my husband received an ultrasound requisition and doctor's note via email promptly.

My only comment is that the overall process is somewhat unclear- you dont know when you might receive a booking phone call and when they might schedule you with a doctor when you complete the initial form online. This lead to a few hours of ambiguity during our first experience where I wasnt sure if I should take the toddler to urgent care, since I hadnt heard anything.

Overall, I will use Rocket Doctor again for non emergent medical needs for my whole family and I recommend the service to others, but do caution them that the process is slightly unclear.

I’ve booked multiple appointments with Rocket Doctor, and every single time I got the same automated message: “We tried to reach you but couldn’t get through.”
Let me be absolutely clear: they NEVER called me. Not once. I sat next to my phone for hours, triple-checked my ringer, signal, and voicemail. NOTHING.

I emailed them again and again. I even gave them an alternate number just in case. I paid out of pocket every time, thinking maybe it was just a one-off issue — but no. I’ve now spent over a month chasing a doctor that never existed.

This wasn’t just inconvenient — it was emotionally exhausting, financially draining, and frankly, an insult to anyone expecting even basic care. And today, I’m writing this review not as a one-time frustrated user — but as someone who feels completely scammed.

Rocket Doctor, if you’re reading this:
You should be ashamed of the way you treat your patients. You take their money, ignore their concerns, and give NOTHING in return. No real help, no real doctors, no real accountability.

To anyone considering using Rocket Doctor:
Don’t. Just don’t. Save your time, your money, and your sanity. This service failed me repeatedly and never once owned up to it.

1-Star Review — Very Disappointing Experience with Rocket Doctor

I booked an appointment with Rocket Doctor specifically to have my sleep apnea forms filled out. I had already received an official diagnosis from a sleep clinic and submitted all the required documents ahead of time. The admin staff confirmed my files were properly attached to my profile.

However, during my appointment, the doctor appeared visibly exhausted — it was late in the evening, and her tone was abrupt and unprofessional. Even my house guests in another room could hear how rude and dismissive she was. She claimed she couldn’t find the documents in my file and implied the issue was my fault, questioning why I even booked the appointment.

The whole appointment lasted less than 5 minutes, got absolutely nothing accomplished, and cost me $41 — a complete waste of time and money.

The next day, I booked the same service through GoToDoctor, which was completely free. Their doctor was friendly, professional, and filled out my forms without any issues.

I reached out to Rocket Doctor for a refund, but Ian Jerome Ferry ignored my request for over a week and never provided any resolution or compensation.

Extremely disappointing service. I wouldn’t recommend Rocket Doctor to anyone looking for professional, reliable virtual care — especially when better, free alternatives exist.

I'm very unhappy with the whole RocketDoctor experience. I registered and they called me back in the middle of the night from some overseas call centre to book an appointment. The scheduled appointment didn't happen. Things were rescheduled. Communication was awful. Support only contacted me after I posted a negative review here and they attempted to rectify the issues. Still, based on personal experience, I cannot recommend RocketDoctor to anyone.

Such a Godsend! Went online and registered for an appointment and spoke with a receptionist within 20 mins and a doctor 2 hours later. Had my lab requisition in my email immediately and my refill waiting at the pharmacy in no time flat. The doctor was easy to talk to and followed up promptly after my results were in. A word of caution, when they call you, it does not come up as Rocket Doctor on the phone but rather it is a 1-800 number that if you’re not expecting it, you might disregarded it as a telemarketer. They will tell you to watch for that when they give you an appointment time, but any follow-ups are tricky. It was a relief not to have to line up at the walk-in clinic 25kms from my house at 7am for when the doors open at 8am and possibly wait hours or have to make the return trip later in the day. They are wonderful and I highly recommend!

I was quite surprised that I was able to talk to a physician so fast! Within a half hour I had a consult and had my medication sent to my pharmacy. It was a pleasure to chat with the doctor and did not feel rushed. I would definitely recommend Rocket Doctor and will certainly use them again until my new doctor is in office and taking appointments. Overall great experience.

As a patient in a rural setting, often it’s a struggle to receive timely care for non-emergency situations and Rocket Doctor has been great for times just like that. The ease of booking an appt, how flexible the appointment times are, low wait times (often I can have a same day appt), along with follow ups after lab request and diagnostics has been great. It certainly is filling a much needed gap in care for my family and I!

The doctor was thoughtful and professional. He was quick to help with my situation for which I’m so grateful. I was able to book an appointment on the same day. Great service and I highly recommend

I needed a PSA test done and would have had to get a hold of my family doctor who is really busy and cant get to see her very quickly. With Rocket Doctor got the requisition in an hour. Excellent service and all good. Recommending Rocket Doctor to anyone.

I have used rocker doctor couple times in the last couple years, both for myself and for my husband. It’s always been a pleasure to have a prompt reply, an appointment quickly put in pace and a caring physician at the other end of the call. I often suggest rocket doctor to various friends who do not have a physician, but are in need of assistance.
I’m very grateful for the service they provide.

My appointment was on time and prompt. I got a call to book my appointment as soon as I put in a request. Got an appointment at the earliest possible time - which happened to be that same day. My request and referral were done on instant. It was fast and efficient. I was pleasantly surprised at how convenient and fast the whole process was. Their customer support is just as prompt. Very kind and professional individuals all around!

I recently lost my family doctor (he moved to another town). It's great comfort & peace of mind to have access to caring, efficient, knowledgeable doctors online to deal with less-than-emergency items.

I also used Rocket Doctor a few years ago & had an equally positive experience.

Still looking for a family doc, of course, but very pleased this group exists to fill the gaps.

I've used Rocker Doctor a few times, and the service has been great. Most recently, I had an issue and was given a followup appointmet with the same doctor. The doctor was really thorough, explaing and discussing my options without being rushed.
My spouse and I both use the service and will continue to do so. (we live in BC).

Not having a doctor, this is most convenient for me. Appointments are easy to make and are on time , little to no waiting at all. Most pleasant doctors that I have dealt with to date. Wish it would go back to all appointments covered by Ohip !! Phone staff when confirming your requests are very pleasant as well !! Keep it going !! Appreciate you !
