Purchased a petrol pressure washer approximately 6 months ago I went to use it in January 2025 and when I started it ,it leaked out oil I contacted Rockwood and sent it back under warranty they told me it had been tampered with and they are not going to honour the warranty ,this is a total scam I’ve told them the machine has not been touched in any way but they insist it has . I understand from reading there reviews this has happened previously to customers. Their customer service is appalling and take forever to respond if at all. Please be warned they are happy to take your money but offer no customer support. I am not in the the process of taking legal action.

We have yet to receive a response to our email sent on 12 February 2025. Following our review of the two reviews you provided, we want to assure you that we have consistently responded to all communications regarding the return of your machine.
Initially, when the issue of tampering was brought to your attention, you agreed to pay the return fee for the machine to be sent back unrepaired. However, it appears this agreement has since changed.
We have shared relevant photographic evidence of the tampering, including visible damage and movement of parts, but we have yet to receive an alternative explanation for these findings.
Regarding the warranty, please be advised that tampering with the machine or using it for commercial purposes will invalidate the warranty, as outlined in our warranty policy.
If you require further assistance or clarification, please feel free to contact us directly.

I recently came across Rockwood.co.uk with the intention of making a purchase, but after reading multiple customer reviews, I am now thoroughly hesitant to do business with them.
What particularly stood out—and ultimately convinced me to avoid this company—was the way they handled a complaint regarding a faulty item. Instead of taking responsibility or offering a resolution, they seemed to shift the blame onto the customer. This type of response not only reflects poor customer service but also a lack of accountability. Customers deserve to feel supported when they encounter issues with products, especially when the problem is clearly with the item itself, not with how it was used.
From the way they handled the situation, it’s clear that customer satisfaction isn't a top priority for Rockwood.co.uk. Communication seemed defensive and unhelpful, rather than empathetic or solution-oriented.
In today’s competitive market, customer service is just as important as the quality of the products being sold. If a company cannot address issues transparently and professionally, it raises concerns about how they might treat future interactions. Unfortunately, after reading this interaction, I will be looking elsewhere for my purchases.

Products as bad as their service!! AVOID
Family ran company treading water. 0/5 for customer service, 0/5 for build quality of machines, 0/5 integrity, I wouldn't recommend them to my enemy. The best thing you can do is find a different company and product. Hyundai offer something much better for not much more. I bought a pressure washer in March by June after using it twice the petrol tank sheared off and the engine seized a week later. Rocwood refused to honour the 1 year warranty and decided to blame me for the fault. Bit of back and forth and they just ignored me from then on. I had to take them to small claims court where a CCJ was put them to pay me my refund for the faulty machines.
I wish I had seen the reviews on B&Q and Amazon who have both got their products are 3 star yet on their website there are dozens of 5 star reviews but no way to validate the reviews by clicking on them as they're not hyperlinked. The Griffiths need to address some serious issues with their company, products, customer journey and more importantly their egos.
Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere. You will regret using Rocwood.

As a response to your review this has already been settled and you have been paid out of court on 12/11/24.
For the general public who is curious about what has happened here is our side:
We had Mr Brady send back the item so we could check how the petrol tank had sheered off. Our mechanics discovered that this could only be done with excessive use of the machine.
Furthermore we were notified that Mr Brady had a company (Dorsets Got Wood) which included pressure washing as a service he provided. Hence the denial of a warranty fix. We decided to settle out of court as we could not prove that our pressure washer was used for his business.
We are looking to add our reviews back public on our website, we are constantly looking to upgrade our website to give the best shopping experience regardless of where our pressure washer was purchased from.
In regards to hiding negative reviews we can say this is not the case. Of course we would love to have all 5* reviews but unfortunately this cant always happen due to a number of reasons. We always strive to provide the best quality products as well as customer service, so it is unfortunate we have failed to meet your expectations on this occasion.

Just a follow up on rocwoods reply ? I cannot reply directly to the ridiculous reply they have created ?
Just for reference I wasn't in when they dropped the machine off so I didn't SEND my wife and baby out ( 6yrs old) and he never showed my wife the machine working he simply dropped the machine off at the bottom of my drive and knocked on the door to tell my wife where it was ( all on CCTV)
What a pathetic company too deal with they are full of lies to the customer and they simply don't meet the customer satisfaction from my experience with ROCWOOD !!

Faulty products, zero communications
Bought one of their space heaters. Was used three times, once to test it when it arrived and twice more for ten minutes each time. Now dead. Will not start and display showing nothing. This company has NO phone number and have so far ignored all of my emails requesting help and now a refund. Nothing! I wish I'd checked the reviews on here before purchasing something from them. I will not be buying anything by Rocwood again and I recommend you don't either, because if something goes wrong, they have made sure you can't do anything about it.

Purchased a cordless lawnmower for my daughter’s small garden. Worked ok until the battery charger failed after 5 months.Tried many times without success to contact customer after sales service but was just ignored.
Ordered and PAID for a replacement which was strangely dealt with very quickly.
So it would appear that your sales service is very good but your after sales service is non existent
